The place is great but very loud or maybe im just getting old.The food was good, but in my opinion the additional greens with the fish was over flavored so the fish was not as noticeable as I think it should have been .. dont get me wrong it all tasted very good. Its a hip and happening place would I go back probably i would.

Service wasn't great. Everyone got their meals at different times. The tuna taco being the last thing to come out, 5 minutes after everyone else had finished which was weird for a raw item. Wine pours were very small. I've had way better experiences there in the past though and the music used to be way louder which I enjoyed.

The food was incredible, the ambience and music was excellent and the Server Emily was kind, knowledgeable and tied together our exceptional experience. 10/10 all around. This will be a regular destination for date night and I could not recommend Adelaide enough

Went for a late valentines date and shared 3 small plates and 2 tacos each. The cod taco and kobe beef lettuce wrap are both unmatched. The best tacos around and the fried cauliflower was insane! Had a drink each and the bill ended up being less than $150 including tip. Great meal and awesome service as always!

Server was very informative and enthusiastic about all the food questions including questions about the oyster selection. The entire dining experience was great and a very fun birthday celebration night out. Cocktails were the best in the city for sure!

We went to Adelaide Oyster House last night for our anniversary dinner. We ordered several craft cocktails and small plates over the course of the evening. Our waiter was really friendly and had lots of great recommendations. Thank you for a great evening out!

Love everyone here, they really take care of you and care about the food they serve you. The music and atmosphere is just as good as the food! My new favorite

Server was friendly but mixed up our order, also not sure how familiar she was with vegan requirements (offered to put the taco in a lettuce wrap?) fries came out with no side - not overly accommodating for vegans, though most places aren't. I've had better experiences there in the past. i sent my cocktail back because it tasted like there was no alcohol in it.

Food here is always amazing. Keep in mind it's small plates that come out when ready and not necessarily together. It's loud, but we find after 10 minutes you adjust and it's fine. Oysters are best in town, bit pricey but unmatched. Drink prices are INSANE. $18 for a cocktail. Draft beer is your typical $11. Staff are amazing. I love this place but it's getting very pricey-- I know everything is getting pricey but this spot is on the head of the wave for sure.

New favourite restaurant in St. John’s!The bartenders and servers (Nick, Paddy, and Emily) are passionate about their menu and their energy is very contagious. The Kitchen is also unreal. My new go to’s are crispy fish tacos and Kobe beef lettuce wraps. It’s now a must stop for me every time I’m in town.

The tacos and oysters were perfect as usual! Wouldn't recommend the chicken sandwich as the chicken was small, mostly breading and not great. But everything else was amazing, service and drinks 10/10!

Adelaide has always been our favorite place to go out for dinner. Given this, we had excitedly booked it for NYE at 9PM so we would have lots of time at the restaurant (as they stated they were not taking reservations past 9PM). We didn't get seated at the requested table (even though that one was free) but we totally understood as sometimes restaurants have specific reasons for things. The only real issue of the evening was our server telling us our table would be flipped before we even got the last of our food order and 2 cocktails (only an hour and twenty minutes into our reso) - with no seats available at the bar. We were planning on ringing in the new year and continuing to order food and drinks at our table (due to the no reservations past 9PM rule they had for the evening). This was definitely confusing and felt very rushed; we will be back, but not for an event like NYE.

Nice atmosphere, the waitress was so incredibly nice. She recommended the tuna tartare and it did not disappoint, so delicious! The portion was perfect for me but might be a bit smaller for others. Also got the Berries Moctail and that was good. I will be returning before I leave, can’t wait to come back and try something else!Edit: Came back and tried the tuna taco, DELICIOUS. They’re small so I got multiple.
