We went to the restaurant not really knowing what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. We had starters and a main with cocktails and wine and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. For dessert I had espresso, which was the best I have tried in town so far. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Picture this. Hungover as all hell. Bite the bullet and decide for an overpriced brunch due to convenience of being inside the hotel that I am staying.
Ask for an iced coffee with milk…server doesn’t seem to understand that I’m asking to put milk in my coffee. Bad start.
She leaves for about 15 min, doesn’t take my order, and never comes back with my iced coffee. There are 0 other customers in the resto, so she is not busy. I just walked out and got an iced coffee at a local café in under 5 min. Saved myself the 100$ brunch probably would’ve cost.
You’d think staying at a hotel for like 300$+ a night for 9 days they’d throw a free brunch, or even like a 10% off discount. NOPE

Best restaurant we ate at in St. John’s! Pasta was the best I’ve had outside of Italy, and the pizza was fantastic too. We ate here twice on our trip, once inside the restaurant (beautiful view and great service) and once as room service. Service was fast and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lots of cocktails and mocktail options as well. We loved the reaper Italian soda! Highly recommend!

Incredible food ... no really! Stand-outs were the scallops, salmon, and carbonara. Very attentive, helpful and classy service. Overall dining experience is high class while still being welcoming, comfortable and approachable. Big views of the harbour.

We came as a group of 18 people, and the service was absolutely amazing! The staff handled everything smoothly — we got our food and drinks very fast. Everything was delicious, and everyone left happy. Highly recommend this place!

UPDATE: In response to the restaurant Response... those tables were entirely empty for the entire duration of my time at the restaurant. I was able to hear the new arrivals that got seated anywhere else in the restaurant and the couple of tables that did get seated in the 45 minutes I was there... didn't have reservations. So the photos of the tables attached were all empty the entire time I was there.
I was staying at the hotel while in the area on business. I came down and asked for a table and asked if it was possible to sit by the window. The restaurant was half empty. I was told I could only sit at the bar or a table that was beside the kitchen. There were several tables for two. Obviously, because I was only one person that wasn't acceptable. The last photo was where I was hidden away. I guess as a single diner... there is no right to the view.
Since this restaurant is attached to a hotel... I think it is shameful. I have several more nights in town but won't be back. The food was pricey and underwhelming. Try elsewhere.
