I was at Martini Bar on Saturday night, October 25th, and witnessed something shocking. The bartender, a blonde woman, accused a man of not paying for his drink even though he showed her the bank transaction as proof. She ignored him completely. A couple of minutes later, around 4 or 5 people came in and violently attacked the man, who had been calm and respectful the whole time.
They grabbed his drink, choked him until he couldnât breathe, kicked him in the back of the head, and threw him out of the bar. The man kept asking what he did wrong, and they couldnât give any reason.
The bartender and the people who attacked him should be held responsible for this assault. Itâs also unclear if those who attacked him were even security, as they werenât wearing any uniforms or identification. This place is unsafe, unprofessional, and should be investigated.

I had a very bad and frightening experience at this bar. I paid for my drink with my card and have the transaction as proof, but the bartender wrongly accused me of not paying. Before I could even explain or show my proof, two minutes later I see ppl walking towards me and attacked me, I still donât know if they are security or criminals
This ppl came over, took the drink out of my hand, then shocked till I couldnât breathe and kicked me for no reason at all. I did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. I was in pain and completely shocked by how violent and unprofessional they were.
No one should ever be treated this way, especially after paying and being respectful. I have reported this assault to the police and hope no one else goes through something like this at this bar.

Now that I'm sober.....don't spend a dime in this place. Their security has a God complex. When they shouldn't when a 5 footer can drop kick your security. So many other places that are beautiful. If you had 2 drinks b4 you go to martini bar they will kick you out. Whoever owns this shitty bar replace your security and give em new training. Your money is much more appreciated anywhere else. They call themselves a fancy club.....the best tequila they got is Siler patron hahahaahahahaha

Not only did they charge $32 for two drinks but the bartender even tried to jack my change without even offering it back to me at 10:30 at night. That was after my husband stood at the bar for 10 minutes trying to get served and it wasnât even busy yet.. overall experience negative.
Highly recommend it if you donât wanna get service but when you finally do you get jacked prices and your change stolen by the bartender .

It is an unprofessional and from my own experience I can assure that it is unsafe to go there. Bartenders are rude. Security doesnât do its job. And management never returns calls when you bring up a concern. I was physically assaulted by management on December 22 2024. Still no return call from the bar to follow up on this and itâs been 3 weeks

I was treated awfully at the Martini Bar the last time I went there by the bouncers. As I was walking down the stairs, not in a slobbery drunk way I may add, I was rudely approached by a bouncer who proceeded to raise his voice at me to leave even though I had done nothing wrong up until this point. I complied, and as I reached the entrance to leave, the bouncer grabbed me by the back of my coat and threw me out the door aggressively. It was probably the worst experience I've had downtown. So if getting assaulted by bouncers on a power trip is your thing, I recommend coming here! If not, than that avoid this place like the plague.
Great place to play a game of âWill I ever be served?â The answer sadly is yes, eventually, by a server with a lousy attitude who couldnât pour a pint to save their life. In the meantime you can run the gauntlet of skeets on your way the washrooms and try to find the one working sink. Whatâs not to like?
