Super slow counter service combined with rip-off prices (six bucks and tax for an English muffin that's even smaller than McDonald's McMuffin and doesn't come with a drink or a side order) goes a long way in explaining why Timmy's has such an awful reputation (despite being an apparently successful business thanks to fast drive thru service) in this country.

Started to notice every vist to waterstreet tim hortons i get short changed or charged different amounts for the same orders and extra money taken off tim cards. Only in small amounts. 5 $ one time so i went back. And they new the amout before i said it.. blaming it on the language barrier. First i thought it was a mistake but its starting to happen all over town in stores, taxis , delivery. Just a heads up.

Always very clean inside and they are very efficient in store and in the drive thru. Staff are friendly. I find at this location in particular they bake the Timbits too long, they are super crunchy which I personally am not a fan of. The egg for the breakfast items is often green. Tastes great as long as you don't look at it lol. The coffee is always on point but I've yet to get an ice capp made correctly. Overall not a bad location though.

I ordered 2 coffee, 1 original blend with dbl cream & dbl sugar the other dark roast with dbl cream and sweetener on the side. They both came marked 2 sw - 2 cr with no indication of which was original and which was dark roast. The hot chocolate I ordered arrived marked DR and was actually coffee making me go back to correct that part of the order. When I told the chap who took my order all he said was he didn't fill the order.This was at about 4:00 pm and the selection of donuts was as usual minimal! So much for being a donut shop.And trying to use points! Don't get me started - all to save a $1 something.
