Beautiful cafe with excellent food and coffee. The weekend brunch breakfast sandwich is INCREDIBLE. I thought about it for days afterwards. I also tried the weekday breakfast wrap which was great, but nothing will compare. The baristas know what they’re doing and the coffee is great. Contrary to what some other reviews say, I found there was plenty of seating across the main and upper floors.
It would be great if management updated cafe hours on holidays!

The “Three Chocolates” cake was absolutely delicious! Perfect balance of flavors, rich but not too sweet, and the texture was so smooth and creamy. Beautifully decorated too — you can really taste the love and skill that went into it. Everyone loved it!

Went this morning as it was near the hotel. The music and environment was perfect. Coffee was excellent. Dirty chai was actually made with tea and perfect espresso. Exceptional overall experience. I was originally just getting coffees to go but decided to stay and read a bit.

I tried almost every vegan option of the menu in my week long trip to St. John’s and it was all excellent. Unfortunately my fave, the griddle, is only available on weekends but my other faves are the falafel wrap, and the TLT. The vegan breakfast wrap is also pretty good. St. John’s as a whole is not a very accessible town for those who use mobility aids and this place is no exception as it’s all stairs, but there’s not much to be done about that. The upstairs has a lovely view of the harbour with a super cute aesthetic that one of the staff referred to as “Nan vibes” which tickled me and it was accurate. Also just lovely staff. The coffee is fantastic too.
Loved this coffee house in St. John's ! Very friendly staff, delicious coffee, and great menu selections.

Stopped in for a vanilla latte and a flat white, and ended up getting a full-on coffee education from the barista — who was equal parts skilled and entertaining. Honestly, I think I learned more about beans and milk textures in five minutes than I did in four years of school.
We took our drinks upstairs, where the vibe is cozy, a little old-soul, and the kind of place you could easily “accidentally” spend an afternoon in. The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere even better — and if I could hire that barista as my personal coffee tutor, I’d never touch a drip machine again.
Highly recommend for anyone who likes their caffeine with a side of character.

Very sweet staff, great cappuccino and cortado’s. The cookies are fresh and gooey 🤤 . Bring your own mug and get a discount. Free wifi and sunny window seats. More tables available upstairs. They sell beans and merch and local wine!

We had a nice breakfast at Toslow! Both of us ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was delicious —flavorful and satisfying. We paired it with a matcha latte and a café latte, and both drinks were well made and enjoyable.
The atmosphere is charming and cozy, though the space is quite small, which might not suit every type of guest. While the vibe is pleasant overall, the customer service could use a bit more attention and care.
One small downside: I would have loved to have the option of soy milk, but unfortunately it wasn’t available.
Still, it’s a cute spot for a casual bite.

A friendly place with good food. The breakfast sandwich (vegetarian) was both tasty and filling. They naturally asked if I wanted the meat or vegetarian version, same with milk (oat milk). For a restaurant that have meat, I felt seen
Has 4 vegan sandwiches and oat milk for their drinks. They were delicious and the service was exceptional.
