I attended a private event at Wooden Walls and was very impressed. My daughter was getting married and booked it for getting her pictures done. There was about 45 people (families and bridal party), and the place was great, allowing lots of space to mingle and still get photos taken.
The staff were excellent to deal with and went out of their way to accommodate us.
We had some finger food for guests catered by Wooden Walls, and they were all unique and delicious.
I highly recommend this location.

The menu prices didn’t match what we were charged, which was frustrating. Hopefully, they fix this issue. That said, bad reviews can really hurt small businesses, so it’s better to give feedback directly and give them a chance to improve. Feel free to contact me to get this resolved.

You just never know the wonderful places you’ll run into. Out for an evening walk and came across this amazing distillery! We just had to check it out. A portion of the inside is like the inside of a ship, was so cool!! The cocktails are all handcrafted, local as you can get in ingredients!! We tried the espresso martini - was my first one ever-YUM! and a beautiful gin drink with thyme and fruit…refreshing! We met the gentleman that crafted all the recipes. A pure delightful experience! A must visit to put on your list! Cheers to you and your crew at Wooden Walls!

The liquors/liqueurs are very good. I especially enjoy the coffee liqueur - it is like an unsweetened mocha, but without bitterness.
The venue is a wonderful comfortable lounge/bar area, made for warm conversations to be easy.
The staff are kind and informative, and made me feel thoroughly welcome and at home there.
10/10 if you are visiting St. Johns (or live here I suppose!) and enjoy your spirits, or just a comfortable quiet bar, stop in here.

Stumbled across this place she poking through town on a Sunday afternoon. Our bartender Noah took us through a journey in tasting and background of the distillery. Not to mention the extensive local tips he provided. Great atmosphere and styling. One of very few distilleries on the island. Came in for a drink, stayed for a few more. 25% off some bar items on Sunday’s is another great incentive to check this place out.

We went for drinks. We walked and were told to seat ourselves and we did not far from the bar. There were 2 staff on duty - a large table for over 20 people as well as severalother tables. After 20 minutes we left- at that stage we hadn’t been given so much as a menu and no one had approached for orders or even to check in. The other tables around us were equally dry. One guy sat at a table of 4 the same time as us and got up after 10 minutes and went to get his own menu. No idea how the drinks are. The bar is lovely but it is massively understaffed. We left and went to Merchant and had a drink in front of us in less than 5 minutes.
I came in for a tasting and it was delicious. Very smooth spirits and great flavour profiles. I was helped by Sarah and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely want to come back for cocktails!

The vodka I tried had an off taste and smell, like acetone . It did not seem safe to drink , I had to leave it .

Best cocktails in town! We love coming here for the deliciously creative bevvies and unique atmosphere. The lights inside make it feel like you're inside a ship! So cool. The bar staff are super fun too! I'll always keep a bottle of Walsh's Welsh and Southside citrus gin in our liquor cabinet so we can make yummy drinks for friends. Can't wait for the new deck to open for the summer!!
