“Our dining experience at Twine Loft was absolute perfection. We had made reservations in advance, and received excellent communication via email about our upcoming dining. The day before we were emailed our 2 options to choose from. My husband chose the pork with the rhubarb chutney and I chose the cod with walnuts. The day of, we arrived 45 minutes early and enjoyed drinks in the sunshine on the deck overlooking the water. At 5:15 we came inside.

We started off with bread and herbed butter, and then were given an option of a soup or salad for appetizer. The soup was apple parsnip - which I never would have thought of as a combo, but was amazing. We then had mains, followed by a Newfoundland Spice Cake with a screech sauce. Absolutely every bite of our meal was exquisite. It is simple Newfoundland ingredients, prepared perfectly. The service was excellent - warm and welcoming from beginning to end.
