“Valentine’s Day Review – We made our Valentine’s Day reservation online in advance. The reservation page showed multiple menu options for February 14th, so we expected some variety. When we arrived, however, there was only a single printed menu with one appetizer option, two entrée choices (Steak Diane or fish & lobster), and one dessert. The menu had “$87” printed at the top. I specifically asked our waitress if that price was for two people, and she confirmed that it was. The menu also stated a complimentary glass of champagne was included, but we were never offered it. To start with the positives: we expected it to be crowded and were fully prepared to be patient and enjoy the evening. Our drinks came out quickly (their drinks have consistently been good), and the appetizer arrived fast as well. However, once the entrées came out — very quickly — it raised some concerns. We were told all steaks would be cooked medium with no option to request temperature. The steak was cooked as described and tasted fine, though the portion was small. The fish and lobster, unfortunately, were noticeably overcooked, with the lobster being rubbery. The speed of service and lack of cooking customization made it very apparent that the food was pre-prepared and plated assembly-style. At a higher-end restaurant, especially on Valentine’s Day with premium pricing, buffet-style or bulk pre-cooked execution is disappointing. When you’re paying elevated prices, you expect food prepared to order — not something that feels pre-cooked and reheated for volume service. That was honestly the biggest letdown of the night. We were prepared to spend around $90 plus drinks. What surprised us was the final bill — $240. That’s when I asked to speak with the manager. The confusion stemmed from: The online reservation page showing multiple options. Being told $87 was for two people. Not receiving the advertised complimentary champagne. The manager explained the updated details were posted on Facebook and that the website wasn’t updated. Not everyone relies on Facebook — many customers depend on the official website when making reservations. To their credit, I paid the bill and remained respectful. The manager applied a 20% discount, which essentially covered the drinks, and offered to personally assist us in the future. The Rails has a great atmosphere and strong drinks. But for a premium holiday experience, clearer communication, accurate pricing transparency, and food prepared to order would have made a major difference. Unfortunately, this Valentine’s experience felt overpriced, misleading, and below the standard expected from what is considered one of the more upscale restaurants in Clovis.“

“10/10 recommendation! My brother and his fiancée were in New Mexico last weekend for a vacation and spoke to the bartender. He said my fiancée and I bartended here in Cincinnati and that we loved getting growlers, so they gave him one to give to us! So thoughtful- can’t wait to stop in for a fill up next time we’re out west!“

“Just bought 3 mini blizzards and paid $13 and change and basically got vanilla ice creams with little bits of toppings in them. Unacceptable!! I took pic as proof! This is suppose to be a Reeses Take 5! Won't be back! Sonic or Tastee Freeze next time! This was at the Hilltop Dairy Queen.“

“I stopped by on Monday, October 6, 2025, around 5:30pm in Clovis, NM. It was raining very hard and I needed to get an order to go for my mom. I did not see the to go and pick up was at the back part of the restaurant and I had went into the front. However, the server, which her name was “Six” Did not want me to have to go back out into the rain and re-park just to place an order to go. My order was taken and she brought my order out to me. Six was a phenomenal server with the utmost professionalism and it was all about the customer having a good experience. We had just come from the vet and found out my mom‘s dog has cancer. This lady will not ever know what she meant to us in that sad moment. She made our day & We are beyond grateful for her service and felt she needed to be recognized for her above and beyond Service.“

“The service here is usually quick and easy. I always order online through the app and have never had an order messed up or had it take to long to get. The inside has taken longer when I went in to order but nothing that was extreme. Never had an issue staff and food is always good temp and not messy.“

“Very short wait, accurate order, and kind service. If I'm going to a sonic in this area this is always the one I'm choosing. 1 of the items I got was their pickle fries which were really good. If you look on their online menu they have some good online exclusive drinks that you can still order in person once you know what they are. I got the dirty dr pepper with no lime and my partner gets the paradise sunset both very tasty.“
