“We were visiting last weekend and decided to try Leal’s for dinner. What a great place to eat! We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our order arrived quickly, the food was amazing and served piping hot. Our waitress (DeMaris?) was friendly and attentive. Lots of local families there, which is always a good sign, and kids of all ages. We will definitely be back!“

“Love Don Maria’s! Everyone is always so nice. It’s a sit yourself place & someone will come bring you a menu. I like their chips & salsa & their juevos rancheros. If you go through their drive thru, the burritos are my favorite to get! I’ve had sausage & chorizo, & both are delicious!!!“

“My great grandpa used to come here ever day when he was alive. My grandpa still enjoys everything he orders from here. My mom raves about this place and its food. After all these years I still come here and have never had much issue. The food is always great and I heavily recommend the clubhouse special. “This place was recommended to me by the hotel receptionist. She was pretty passionate about it so I thought I’d give it a go. Well, she was right - this place was excellent. I had chips and salsa, chile verde, refried beans, and a crispy beef taco. It was all excellent and freshly made. My pet peeve is going out for Mexican and the beans, sauces, etc are out of a can. You won’t find that at Taqueria Jalisco. It’s all home made and very tasty. I can usually tell a place by the salsa and refried beans and they were both scratch made and excellent. The green sauce for the chile verde was outstanding and the pork was perfectly cooked. The beef taco was flavorful and crispy. If I lived here, I’d be a regular. I really liked this place - a lot.“

The gentleman and other lady making the food were happy and welcoming. They all seemed to really like their job. We were driving through, but will for sure be back on our return home. Thank you!“

“Edit/Additional review... 2 weeks later, 12/3/25 and I'm back for some morning stress eating, LOL. The only hiccup this time was the kiosk declined my card. But the older woman promptly got it straightened out. Her and the younger woman then proceeded to make my 3 special order items EXACTLY as ordered. I also ordered a hash brown and unlike most eateries, these woman didn't serve me a hockey puck/burnt offering. Thank you very much, ladies!

Well, this location is finally open! I hope that it does well, because it is in a good location. There's not many options for vegetarian truckers and I come through this area every so often. Tonight there were 4 or 5 guys working and each of them were friendly, courteous and attentive. I ordered 5 items, all special orders and only one of the items was made incorrectly, but they promptly realized the mistake and with zero attitude made it again. I realized that the remade veggie bowl was only missing the guacamole. Obviously a new location AND new crew are bound to have hiccups, but I look forward to my next time here in Clovis. Excellent job fellas!“
