Café Abiquiu & LaTerraza Reviews
We were planning our trip on the drive back to Denver from a vacation in Santa Fe, when we decided to include a walking Georgia O'Keeffe studio and Ghost Ranch Tour. This had been a childhood dream of mine. A book about her and her work was one of my first art awards in grade school. Because of that, she was one of my first introductions into what became a lifelong pursuit of art.

Dog friendly. Wait staff was very pleasant. Very unique little area out in the middle of no where. Food was good. Green chili burger, Mac and cheese and an excellent strawberry greens salad.
Discover Abiquiu has the best vacation properties. Perfect locations, beautiful interiors and world-class hospitality. It is the THE place to stay in the area. Highly recommend.

Café Abiquiu & LaTerraza is a charming spot that offers some of the best food in the area. The fire roasted salsa is delicious, the chips are crispy, and the guacamole is finely chopped. The tomato garlic gazpacho soup with drops of chili oil is a must-try. The lamb burger is excellent, and the outdoor seating area is lovely, perfect for enjoying good weather. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure guests feel welcome. The trout is cooked to perfection, and all meals are satisfying. Visitors can also explore a cute gift shop and view local art for sale. Recent reviews mention that breakfast burritos are smothered, which surprised some, but they still found them good. The green Chile offers a mild to medium picante flavor. Customers enjoyed dining on the outdoor patio with reasonable prices. The restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place for a peaceful meal. The food was a beautiful mix of elegant and traditional, with flavors of the southwest presented beautifully and in generous portions. The Napolean cake was a favorite, and the elite was spicy and fresh. Live music was enjoyed outside on a lovely Friday evening. The wait staff was very pleasant. The cafe is dog friendly. This is a wonderful gem in New Mexico.
