My wife and I had been to Jamaica twice so our standards for jerk chicken and beef patties were very high. Let me tell you the jerk chicken and beef patties from A Taste of the Caribbean far exceeded our expectations. Their jerk chicken was the best we ever had along with their beef patties. We will definitely order again!!Parking: My Service Dog and I were able to park behind A Taste of the Caribbean in a handicap parking spot and we just walked to the front of the restaurant.

The food was old and the skin on the chicken was rubbery. I was very dissapointed in the lack of quality provided to me as a customer.

My search for goat curry led us to this unassuming family-run restaurant. It's not fancy, and the water and iced tea weren't great, but everything else was spot-on. The service is friendly and the bathroom immaculate. My curry goat and my better half's curry chicken were generous portions and fell off the bone. Both plates came with a fragrant pile of rice and beans plus a cabbage-and-carrot serving we wished were larger because it was fabulous -- melted in our mouths.

It's a sad day. My favorite Jamaican place lost its touch. The jerk chicken was extremely dry & old. Even in the jerk sauce. It tasted odd & made us sick almost immediately after eating what we could. Had ox tails as well. They were good, nice portion. But the peas & rice were ...just not right. The cabbage was only a spoonful. Normally a great treat to stop by when we are on town. Not this time. Doubt we'll go back.
Nice spot if you want to eat something different...Oxtails, chicken patties, and jerk wings all pretty good!! Those jerk wings are ?? they got some island heat!! Definitely a take out joint!!!

The food is excellent here, delicious and authentic. Each bit is pure pleasure. Portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. Everything is hand-made from scratch, spicy, and exotic, served hot and delicious. Home cooking from the Caribbean. Try it, I guarantee you will like it. I enjoy some at least once a week.

I was thoroughly dissatisfied. I paid $16 for flavorless brown stew chicken (1 wing, 1 drum and a very small piece of a breast). Although I was seeking fast service, I did not expect my meal to be thrown together and so terribly thin. Brown stew chicken is a Caribbean staple. I expect it to be different at every restaurant. This was by far the most tragic. You live. You learn.

I ordered 2 pieces of jerk chicken and mac n cheese on uber eats. I show up and they give me one little box, I ask where the rest of the food is and he says "we didnt have mac n cheese but I took it off your order." Why they didnt call to offer an alternative option I dont know. You would never go to a restaurant and receive half your order and hear sorry thats all we got for you, hope you arent too hungry. The chicken was so dry I almost choked. It was supposed to come with a roll and did not. I just moved here from NY and I miss the jamaican spots... really wanted to like this place
