Blunt Bros Coffee Nob Hill

I really hate making this review but it has to be made. I don’t generally make negative reviews unless I was mistreated. I’ve been going to this coffee shop for several years, as it’s been one of my top favorites. This morning, I waited to order a coffee, and the owner was having an altercation with another customer. He was recording the incident live on his phone and berating the customer. After several minutes of this, I called out that the customer isn’t worth his energy. So, the owner turned towards me and started recording me. He started berating me that I must be a team with the other customer and if that customer was my dad. Then telling me to leave and he doesn’t want my business. I was genuinely concerned and asked if he was okay. But that didn’t deter him from verbally abusing me, in front of my child, and telling me to leave. His hands were shaking and I could tell he was really worked up. I’ve worked with customer service through the entirety of my adult life and I completely understand how difficult customers can be. That being said, the way the owner treated me was completely unnecessary. It’s so unfortunate because I genuinely loved the coffee there, but I won’t be returning. That was unacceptable and if he can’t keep from verbally abusing someone else because another person pissed him off, he shouldn’t be running a business working with the public. My mind is still blown that this just happened. I hope the owner can go to therapy and find peace.

First time customer - Ordered 2 large coffee's - The Boss and Machiatto, both were Great!! The gentleman (with the beard lol) that took my order was extra nice and professional. I'll be making this my regular coffee place. ?

Guy serving must have been on drugs. He has an issue. He is rude and verbally abusive. I was looking at the menu and he thought I was starring at him. Called me pendejo several times. Don't know how he is in business. $5 for a coffee. Think I should have had better service.

Verbally abusive owner. I went here during the beginnings of the pandemic between a vet appointment close by for my dying cat and holding Zoom meetings with hundreds of students. I asked about a syrup flavor listed on the menu. He proceeded to yell at me, called me a variety of names, and told me if I didn’t appreciate real coffee, to “vámonos”, contextually meaning “get out of here”. (Spanish grammar shows us that the command vámonos breaks down to include a pronoun of “nos” meaning ‘us’, thus suggesting that he was going to come with me —no thanks). I hope he finds peace and maybe some professional help. I don’t recommend this “joint” unless the description above reads as appealing.

My usual order is iced coffee lattes. They are always good and strong. Almond milk is good and compliments the flavor of the roast really well. Drive thru service is quick and there’s a walk up window too. The guy that works there is super chill and efficient. Can’t wait to try the Navajo tea next

They have great coffee, but the worker with the beard was extremely unprofessional both times I’ve gone. This past visit he was talking about how my girlfriend had anxiety and if she didn’t want to be there she should just leave, after we had tried to order our coffee. He ended up just telling us to leave and shut his window and walked away. Delicious coffee, but his service is what’s going to be keeping me away.

If there was an option for 0 stars, I would definitely use it. I was waiting in line at the walk up for about an hour. When I get to the counter and tell the barista my order, he proceeds to make it hot. Mind you, it’s summer and 90° outside. When I see this I try and get his attention and say ,” excuse me sir.” He didn’t seem to hear me but then my partner tried to tell him that we asked for our drinks ICED. This man turns and tells us “they’re already made”. At this point I’m getting a little frustrated but still keeping my cool and being respectful. I then tell him if he can kindly make them iced. He ends up getting mad and tells us “ leave a one star review then, I’m not serving you. Move along.”What?? This was so rude and the customer service was so poor. Never coming here again.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Went there for the pride parade. It was the only coffee place open. Waited for a while hour. I order ICED coffee and the barista was making it hot, I told him that the coffee was iced and he said “I am not your servant if you don’t want the coffee move on”. The barista was blonde, long hair and high AF

I usually don't do reviews. But this was my second time getting coffee here this morning. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews coffee was good service was good. Will definitely be back ?

Clearly desperate for money. Double charged me for one overpriced coffee, when confronted he became very agitated and irrational stating, “I clearly need a job and I’m out to get one on the universe.” Wouldn’t give me a receipt because “my phone is the receipt.” Wouldn’t look me in the eyes during the conversation and when asked why, he said “I don’t want you stealing my soul!” Said he refunded it. Guess we will see. Coffee was decent. Not worth going back ever again… check your bank accounts he seems desperate. Also the advertised prices do not match. I paid $5.01 for a drink advertised at $3.74 (after tax still doesn’t add up) wasn’t going to say anything initially but after the double charge brought it up and he said it’s cause of inflation which may be true but clearly hasn’t changed his sign. But clearly can’t trust the man. As I left he ran around his tiny shanty banging on the walls with both hands above his head screaming incomprehensible nothings at me.

This place has good and overpriced coffee but only go if you want to be made to feel bad for doing absolutely nothing but ordering. Went recently and was cussed at because when asked if I wanted hot or iced I answered? I used to excuse the behavior but not any longer. A million other coffee shops to support that actually can treat people with basic common decency.

Purposely overcharged me for my drinks and then freaked out and was unbelievably rude and extremely mean when I asked about it. HOW is this place still in business??? Do yourself a favor and NEVER COME HERE. I definitely never will again.

Don't get all the bad reviews, give respect get respect. Been there dozens of times a year, always friendly and respectful. Makes and roasts great coffee and drinks. All come with quad shots of espresso as a base and delicious, also great chai tea.

This coffee is absolute jet fuel. Four shots of espresso will definitely get you through the day :)Owner is cool af

First and last time going!!The owner wouldn't even look at me, couldn't even hear him when I ordered my coffee the total was 17$ for two small coffees!! When I said excuse me all we could see was his mouth mumbling and he slammed the window shut!! Worse service, NO WONDER ITS ALWAYS EMPTY THERE I SEE WHY!
