*BIPOC QUEERS* Yesterday my brother and I came to karaoke like we have been for almost a year and a half. Boese has been a safe space for us to come together with our friends and family, however, last night a drunk bartender had a power trip and when my brother asked about the drinks he was being charged for she escalated the situation and began raising her voice at me in front of the entire bar then kicked me out. Sometimes my brother and myself are on the same tab and buy drinks for one another and it’s not a big deal, she ended up calling the police and no person of the boese brewery accommodated the situation. Do not come here because the service is terrible, you will witness multiple people behind the bar that don’t even work here.

The beer and food are both excellent. That said we had to wait one hour for two sandwiches and the place was half empty. The servers could probably use some additional help because they were hustling the entire time.

I don't drink so I can't speak to the quality of the alcohol. But I used to live across the street and it always seemed fun!One time I locked myself out of my apartment and one of the bartenders let me borrow his phone to call someone to help me out.Definitely saved me then. Happy to see this place is still in business.

Came by with the Pride Pub Crawl. Awesome drinks and great vibe. Nice place with quiet background music and an amazing patio. Will definitely be back.

Nice friendly place, but they don’t serve food. Though there was a food wagon in the courtyard (nice outside space) but it wasn’t serving by the time I left at 6:16 on a Friday!
Great atmosphere! Cocktails also available. The only thing is that they do not have flights.

Tried to stop by once an hour before closing and even though there were about 10 people inside, the bartender yelled at me that they were closed as soon as I walked in. Second time the bartender seemed super bothered that we were there. Drink was good, but when I went to order a second she said she already did last call. But she definitely didn’t say it where anyone could hear her. Cool artsy vibe, but I won’t be back because of the horrible service.

So not only did they charge me for two beers when I asked for a clean one (didn’t even drink out of the first one) but this was the water glass I got ? I’m 100% for small businesses and try to support local but this really got me.
