So delicious and beautiful almost no words can describe their pastries. They also had a malted latte a while back that was unforgettable. Just try it for yourself. The line is totally worth the wait, it’s just that good.
No wonder this bakery got a James Beard acknowledgement.... not only were the pastries visually stunning they tasted like they were made by angels... amazing coffee too.... can't wait to go back and get some refrigerator jam.... I don't think there's dine in we just ordered from the window.
This is a walk up bakery. Get in line, get to the window and order your freshly made pastry and drink of choice from the bundle of joy and flour at the window. Around the corner the next window calls out ticket numbers as they pass out bags of loaves and pastries and cups full of warm beverage delight.
No one will tell you what to get at Burque Bakehouse, because the decision paralysis at the rotating seasonal selection is part of the experience.
