We've been here a bunch of times, always getting takeout, but this was our first time eating in. I love how they've decorated it; they've updated the tables and chairs, and the new chairs are really cool and unique. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the decor; it really gives off a vibe of tradition and family. The menu even has a quote from the owner's dad. The service is friendly, and the bathroom is clean. The food was okay; the carnitas were good, and they bring you chips and salsa while you wait. I thought the chips were a little burnt, but not terrible. My daughter got the torta with carnitas, and her fries were a bit burnt too. Besides the slightly burnt chips and fries, everything else was fine. We'll definitely be back.
One of the best places in town

The staff is very courteous and friendly. The food was very good, too. I had the huevos ranchers, and it was delicious.

Our greeting was great. Ordered 1lb of tacos mixed. When we got it, was more like a 1/2 lb. Must of been weighing the plate as well. Because i refused to settle for that, i confronted the owner where he acknowledged it was less. We were ultimately served more but the waitress never went back to check on us. So much so, they merited no tip (sad to say as i was a server for 10 years). Food is great (emphasis added) but service sucked. A customer should not demand what he paid for. Perhaps ordering to go is the only way to go when ordering from this place.

We had brunch today. I had the menudo for the first time there. It was good. My preference is for the menudo to have lots of hominy and red chile, the tripe to be cut bite size, and NO cow foot. So, while it was different than what I prefer, I think if I order it the way I prefer it, it wouldn't be a problem. It was absolutely fresh and steaming (best way to serve it). My husband had carnitas and they were delicious. The red salsa is π. The service is good.

I can't give enough stars to this place food was on point, service was awesome and the atmosphere on 100 definitely the top restaurant I been to since I moved out here.
I ordered a bowl of menudo and got many huge ox bones in it. 6-7 bones is too many. They donβt make chile rellanos either.
Best place to eat

Barbacoa was very fatty and the menudo didn't have much tripe...looked more like pork belly. The rice was decent. Ordered through grubhub...probably wouldn't again based on this experience.

Today I came with my family to eat a goat birria and first the chips that they give with sauce were burnt, they also gave me a plate full of pure fat, I couldn't eat it, then I ordered some flautas and the flautas were full of oil, it was dripping off them The oil and rice they gave me were thick and dry. They need to pay more attention to food. and they still wanted me to pay them but oh well
Best carnitas in town I know the owner since he first started selling his carnitas out of his house it's a nice guy and carnitas are real carnitas it's worth to go and try them for yourself
