Amazing food and service with Alex! The steak, salmon, creme brûlée and cocktails/wines were all amazing! By far our favorite meal of our vacation through New Mexico!

The place is nice and the servers are very knowledgeable and accommodating. My issue is with the food. My fries from steak frites were soggy and the steak needed to rest more before going on my plate. It was a puddled mess. My wife got the Spanish mussels and it was deeply lacking in flavor. We also got the rocket salad and there were barely any beets on it and the arugula was wilted. I am really not happy with this visit.

An excellent dining experience. This was my first time at the Central Bodega. Awesome and attentive staff. Great food. A welcome addition to the Nob Hill food scene.

Everything I have tried here is fantastic! The menu does change and there are entree specials. So far, the lamb is my favorite. The cocktails are tasty and they even have a bar tenders choice option. Great option!

First off amazing atmosphere. To our awesome hostess, beautiful server. She was amazing, she handled the upstairs that night. I wish I remembered her name :(. But she was amazing:) It was my moms birthday dinner, and everything was top notch. Bartender perfect, and to our Chef Izzy, if thats spelt correct. He came out to introduce himself and wish my mom a Happy Birthday. Hes a talented chef and you can tell, hes a perfectionist. He deserved a kiss as I always say for delicious food lol. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. We will be back.

Great atmosphere and exceptional service. We had been here once before for cocktails and really enjoyed our experience. Unfortunately, our dining experience left a lot to be desired. The charcuterie board seemed like it was pulled off the shelf at the local grocery store. Nothing special. The clams and mussels were small and tasted fishy while the broth lacked much depth of flavor. The salmon pasta was bland. The salads were large but again were something I could have made at home and lacked unique flavor. The fries were soggy. I’ll come back for cocktails but am unlikely to try the food again.

Central Bodega has potential, but the experience was a bit uneven on our recent brunch visit. The Monte Cristo was very good; the veggie omelette merely okay (too wet inside). I would say the concept and presentation were, in a word, unremarkable: if you imagine what a typical omelette or Monte Cristo looks like, and how you'd realize these dishes in your home kitchen, that's what we got. We each had a mimosa. Service was sluggish but adequate. With tax and tip, the bill came just above $70. In my view, a menu needs to demonstrate unusual inspiration and be memorable to present value at this price point. Suggestions: refills or "bottomless" mimosas (within reason); find a way to elevate that omelette with surprising flavors (and make sure it's not wet inside!); make brunch service a value offering instead of trying to position it as fine dining. Decor and ambiance are decent, and the bar is particularly inviting. Drink menu looks innovative. A few superfluous and derivative farmhouse stylings could be dispensed with in my opinion. I will probably return and try a cocktail at some point.

Cute place and nice location, but the overall experience is lacking a bit. Service was SLOWWW, even tho it wasn't especially busy. The food was decent but nothing special, especially considering the upscale pricing. I'd consider returning, but I'll give it a while to see if the place survives.

Central Bodega was recommended by a friend, so,I don't know if they were off this time or what happened. Food was disappointing. The mussels had no flavor. Bread was ok. French fries were soggy and undercooked. Steak tartare was good, not exceptional. Wine selection was lacking. And everything was overpriced. $16 for a glass of basic wine. $5 for half baguette (4-5 slices). Decor, service and ambiance was clean and inviting. Alex, the waiter was attentive and hospitable.

This was on our list to try out so we booked a Sunday brunch as I was craving a good Eggs Benedict. The service is amazing and the bartender made some amazing cocktails for us while we waited for our food and was super knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason I'm leaving four stars instead of five is the food. My poached eggs came out hard boiled and the potatoes served with it left a lot to be desired... tasted a little over cooked as well. The gal working immediately took my eggs back and had the kitchen remake them and they were much better consistency than the hard boiled eggs. Super appreciated that! So while the atmosphere, decor, cocktails, and service of the restaurant were perfection... the food just isn't quite there yet. Will have to try it out again for a little wine night out.

Great vibe in the upstairs restaurant - quality food, wine, and cocktails along with friendly and efficient service. Lots of fun!

Smack dab in the heart of Nob Hill is this fusion restaurant in Albuquerque. I say fusion because of the eclectic nature of the menu, offering both nuanced and traditional fare based on European menus and American twists on those recipes. The secret to a great experience at Central Bodega is to head upstairs. A reservation is a good idea. I prefer a seat at the bar upstairs for a more intimate situation and if you're into eating on the couch, that's an option upstairs as well.By far my favorite are the French mussels with toasted bread. Brian, our bartender, will mix whatever cocktail you like and I'm fond of his version of a Sazerac. Service is exceptional and everyone is kind. The menu rotates seasonally, and I really miss the parchment prepared salmon from the Fall!Regardless of what you choose, this place is wonderful.
