Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

The service was poor.. There was a fan blowing cold air. Asked three times if they would slow it down, no response. The food was not the best this time. This is my favorite restaurant and I was very disappointed with everything tonight. Oh, and there was no outside lighting it was very dark and hard to find our way to our car.

We recently had dinner at this restaurant, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering the high quality of the food. I ordered the ribeye steak for only $22, and it was cooked perfectly—juicy and full of flavor. The Cheddar's Painkiller drink was a standout, too! It's massive and tastes absolutely incredible. I was so impressed with the food and the overall experience that I've already promised myself to return and try more of their menu. Definitely a place worth visiting for delicious food at great prices!

I met a friend here on a Thursday evening around 5 PM, and it wasn’t too crowded. We were seated right away and had a great experience with our waiter, who was very patient and accommodating, especially since we were catching up and took a while to order.

I ordered the Caesar salad with salmon, and my friend had the grilled fish dinner. Both dishes were flavorful and enjoyable. However, the chocolate cake was a bit of a letdown—it tasted more like a boxed cake than something made from scratch.

Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with good service. The restaurant did stsrt to fill up within a few hours as it seemed to be a very popular place for families and those celebrating birthdays. While I wouldn’t normally choose this chain on my own due to the limited healthy options, it was a nice place to meet up with a friend and enjoy a meal.

Cheddar’s has gone down hill recently. Cheddar’s use to be my family’s favorite place to go for dinner and drinks. I went to Cheddars about a week ago and ordered a steak for dinner. I ordered it medium and it came out well done. The steak had to be remade and I had to wait 20 minutes while the other person I went with finished their food.

I returned to Cheddars again this past weekend because my sister wanted to eat there. My sister ordered a steak and shrimp combo and she ordered her steak medium rare. Her steak came out Well Done. Her streak was sent back to be remade and when the new steak came back out it was super salty.

To top off our experience, when my brother in-law requested a drink refill, the server brought back a refill with no ice - this was done out of carelessness because everyone else was getting ice in their drinks. When we asked if he could get ice with his drink the server caught an attitude with us. We spent over $100 on our bill for such a bad dinner experience.

If you choose to come here for dinner, I recommend not ordering the steak.

1st of all am a blk man with his wife came to eat dinner the svc suck my wife never got her food other ppl around came after and eat bfor us not kool ask for a manger never show up to help out trash svc and place ill never come back here u can’t give me a gift card to come back here to eat for nothing never again -5 star for svc 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Cheddar's is one of my favorite places to eat. So when I have a chance to visit one I do. The food was great, well cooked. The atmosphere was inviting, and the hostesses greet you with a smile. The service, on the other hand, was slow. Our food came out luke warm to cool. There were a few times we had to summon our waitress or ask another to get us refills or things we needed. Over all 4 stars, I recommend going and enjoying the atmosphere and the food. Expect a longer wait than normal for your server to come to your table and to refill your drinks. Honey butter croissants are defent must.

Normally my husband and I have a great experience at Cheddar's for a date night. Unfortunately when you have a larger party that's not the case. I called hours before to book our party of 12 for 420pm. When we arrived we had to wait over 25 minutes, and once they sat us we were put at 2 different booths. My husband's and my nephew's food came out cold, and we didn't have much space to eat at the booth. The waiter however was very good and attentive. Not the best experience for us.

Update: I received a phone call today from a very nice gentleman (can't remember his name) who is now managing the Cheddar's location we visited and followed up with me. He apologized for the service my family and I received and believes it will be better going forward. Thank you for taking the time to contact me. My husband and I look forward to a great experience next time.

It’s my second time visiting cheddars, upon arrival we were sent to the back of the restaurant. Where it was really cold. Made the experience really unpleasant. We complained to the waitress who told the manager and she said it takes a long time to warm up. The croissants were doughy in the middle and the fries were old. Hopefully they can get back on track and fix the environment. If not, they shouldn’t have people back where it’s really cold.

Food was ill prepared (my soup was frigid) with little seasoning. Our server was awesome but other than that it was a total waste of $20 a plate. It was also so loud I couldn't hear the hostess or server.
