I've been in Albuquerque 8 months, lunch and dinner time the parking lot is always full.
I did take out at 5pm.
2 meals, combo, Mongolia beef, fried rice, egg roll, and add fried shrimp.
We were very disappointed, very, fried rice was not fried and just rice nothing else added to it, no flavor.
Mongolian beef runny, and not as it should have been flavorful, egg roll to much batter no taste, shrimp was way to much batter, not fried shrimp.
Put the rice and Mongolian beef in my wok, doing a stir fry to give it all some flavor.
Very very disappointed.
I was so hoping this would be our to go to Chinese Restaurant, but no.

The best chicken wings in town! Egg drop soup with garlic sauce, and General Tsao with side of garlic sauce. This place has been here through my whole married and divorced and remarried life, 45 years, and the food never fails to make me happy! Take out is a big part of their business, but I like to sit down and enjoy the simple charm.

I am absolutely disgusted. I ordered soup from this restaurant for my girlfriend, and while she was eating, she found a larva (maggot) in the bowl. I have attached photos for proof.

Not only is this a major health code violation, but it completely ruined her appetite and made her feel sick just knowing she had already eaten some of it before noticing. We had to throw everything away immediately.

This is unacceptable for any restaurant — it shows either a complete lack of kitchen cleanliness or that the food is not being inspected before serving. I would strongly urge others to think twice before eating here, and I will be contacting the health department so this doesn’t happen to someone else.

Serving contaminated food is not just “a mistake” — it’s dangerous.

Always amazing food and service! My favorite thing to get is the sesame shrimp. The dining area is always extremely clean and organized.

I ordered the beef and broccoli and my friend ordered sweet sour chicken. She got orange chicken and my food was cooked like they were in a hurry and tasted watery. I was at the cashier waiting until I was finally acknowledged and there were 2 ladies there! One answered the phone and ignored me after i had already been waiting for like 5 minutes and my food was not ready. I had called and asked and they said yes 5 minutes more so I left to go pick it up and I took 10 minutes getting there and another 5 minutes in line I will not be going back.

Very horrible service. Rude waitress that either doesn’t want to help you or throws your silverware at you. An hour and a half before closing the old Chinese employee turned on a shop vac while we were still eating, very rude. Been customers since 2006 but will not be returning. Yummi house has awesome service and delicious Chinese dishes

The center of the egg rolls were cold. The sweet and sour chicken was decent. Maybe just went on a off night. It was just our table and 1 other.

The egg drop soup was the best I've had, great impression right off the bat 😁.

The servings were generous, egg rolls fresh and meat tender. Not overly salty like some places.

Price was right.

Service friendly and fast.

What more can you ask for?

Wasn't as tasting as most places.
Feels like no sodium or extra MSG on it. Rice was great so was the egg roll. The chicken jalapeno was more veggies then chicken. The noodles wasn't good it had no veggies, chicken or nothing they looked like pregos soup all kinds of broth on it.

The lady in front was really sweet and kind.

The food was hot though.

Food served was NOT as ordered. This is the third time this has happened. Very disappointed. Repeated order three times and server still got it wrong. I understand there’s a language barrier, but when I’ve explained the problem, server refuses to make it right, and still wants to charge extras even though I did not get them.
We’ve enjoyed Chen’s for over 25 years, but ever since change of ownership, service has been markedly worse, and food quality and taste is not the same. We’ve cone back several times hoping things would improve but they’ve only gotten worse.
Won’t be coming back.
