When I called to place an order, I was put off by my call being answered by an AI chatbot. Imagine my surprise when it actually parsed what I was ordering! It even responded intelligently to me asking what the price of my order would be. Wow. Now imagine my surprise when I got to the store and they told me that the AI had put in an order for an item that wasn’t on their menu and that they hadn’t started working on it yet. When the pizza eventually was ready, it was ok, nothing amazing. The photos in the lobby were fun to look at. The most interesting part of my visit was probably listening to an employee tell a new hire that they can earn ‘Pizza Points’ for doing things like sweeping up in the parking lot without having to be told by a supervisor, and this company scrip could be transferred into free pizza. Pretty funny. Hopefully things can turn around for this place cause they’re obviously in bad straits.

Starting off, visit was great. I do not usually do reviews but I had to post something positive about this place. I did forget the persons name, but he was by himself, and did great. Definitely did better than me on my first week at my own work. Food was out in a timely manner. Order was correct and I accepted we waited a bit longer than normal, again, because he was solo. That being said...I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich, which tasted good, but definitely wasn't up to par with what I have had at Portillo's or Chickies...It did not scream Chicago to me like what my uncle raised me on...Pizza, stellar, you guys make a great deep dish and takes me back to an afternoon on Navy Pier. Sandwich could have been better though. I was hopin I could get an italian combo with a spicy brat in the beef, hint hint. I am leaving my food review at a 5 because it was good, not gonna knock it all the way. I enjoyed it. Whoever it was that worked on 07/31 during lunch, let him know, he did just fine.

Coming from the East coast it's difficult to find a good pizza joint imo here in NM but I have to say this Chicago Pizza Kitchen is Legit. I only wish CPK had garlic knots. I highly recommend. I will be back for seconds, thirds and so on.

"user error"
1. I ordered delivery online through Uber eats. I received NO notification that the order had gone through. I also investigated the Website for Chicago Pizza and it now said delivery was not possible from this store, so I called the restaurant directly.
2. The manager said no order had come through so that I should either call their other storefront in town or order again online for pickup.
2. I called the other store and they found no evidence of an order either.
3. So I ordered online for pickup at the original store. The order wasn't exactly the same but darn close.
4. When I drove across town to pick up the food, the manager told me there was a problem. The Uber driver had just picked up the original order which supposedly hadn't gone through. Actually it had gone through- for a scheduled time a few hours later- but that it hadn't shown up earlier because I scheduled pick up for later in the dse She insisted on giving me my food, the second order, and she said I'd need to get ahold of Karra to get the Uber order cancelled.
5. My son and I immediately called the Karra the Uber driver. She said she was on the way to my house and that she couldn't cancel the order. She said I'd have to call "Customer Service" for that. So we called them immediately.
6. Customer Service equated to a series of chat boxes which were of no help, who them sent me to supposed humans for online chat. In each case, after going through the lengthy written explanation as a I've, the chat attendant concluded that since my order had been delivered they had no reason to refund me and the case was closed. I tried to explain again, succinctly, that the problem was the opposite - that I received Too Much food but that I'd also been charged for it Twice. I sent them copies of the receipts proving I'd been charged twice.
7. Finally they notified me that they are now "escalating" my case to a manager and I should hear from them in 12 hours or so.
8. I'm still waiting now over 12 hrs later.
I don't know who holds the ultimate blame for this but I do know that while the mistake was not mine, I'm the one who is paying the ultimate price.
9. This is not right from a business or moral compass. One of them, either the restaurant or Uber Eats, owes me about $50,00.
It's also obvious that thir goal is to run the customer around in a circle until he or she runs out of time or gets fed up. IOW, they care more about their profit than they do about customers.
Their greed is disgusting.

No more Uber Eats for me or my family. Sorry Ringo, we tried!

They are currently understaffed, which didn't cause us an issue. The guy and lady that were working were really nice and helpful. We called in an order so it was ready when we got there -- a medium deep dish deluxe. This is pretty darn close to real-deal Chicago style pizza, and the ingredients were excellent. Great italian sausage. Tasted great. The place was a little run-down and outdated, but it was clean. I'd go back again if I'm in the area. We just stopped overnight in Albuquerque and were looking for good local pizza.

This place is a joke, and they rip you off. I bought a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich from them and it sucked, about 15 fries and I got charged like $18 bucks for what? And I waited 20 plus minutes. I've tried this place twice now and I'm not giving them any more of my business. This place is a joke and is off my list of places to eat. Subway or Jersey Mike's across the road does better than these clowns

Absolutely LOVE this place. We are from Chicago, My husband is Italian born (Has eaten Real Italian food most of his life), and was a restaurant manage of a large, well known Italian restaurant. He knows his stuff. WE both loved this place! I had a great side salad with amazing croutons (the best I've had in my life), pan cheese slice which was filling for me. He had deep dish pepperoni. We will be going to this location on Eubank once a week from now on. Keep up the good work, guys.

This is my favorite pizza place. It's always amazing. It's a little more pricey than some places but it's definitely worth it!
