Chipotle Mexican Grill

This is the third and different Chipotle here in Albuquerque, NM. that I have been to in the last 4 months. Each and every one of them was dirty. From the food stations to the tables.

It is a frequent place i visit. I like their food and the quality. It's also reasonably close to my home.
My last visit was terrible. The young lady making my steak bowls wasn't pleasant. The portions she put in the bowl were less than 50% of the bowl. Paltry. I asked her to give me a reasonable portion, and she ignored me. When I arrived at home, my 16 year old son asked me why the portions in his bowl were so small.
I felt ripped off at the cash register. I left a tip (as always), but it was for the young man at the register. I wouldn't tip a penny for the food service.
I will likely give it another try, but I've heard similar experiences from friends.
I like the food, so hopefully, this was an anomaly.

Food and staff are great when they are preparing your food.

However, the tables and the floor are frequently very dirty. They don’t go and clean and it is difficult to enjoy the meal in a place in these conditions.

Rice was hard, undercooked :(

The staff was great. The young man that created the order was great!! Even though he brought up the painful Steeler lost to the Ravens. LOL. He's an Eagle fan but that's okay much luck to them.

Order No:Y2W-WA8. The food is extremely spicy. I usually place the same order every time and I never had any issues in past. Tonight, it is extremely spicy and we could not eat it. When I tried to call the restaurant, they just hung up the call saying they can't do anything about this. They did not even bother to get the order number or any other details. Worst customer service.

The manager was very cautious about cross-contamination for gluten free. He changed his gloves to make my dish personally AND he switched out the serving utensils and brought out new lettuce, cheese and guacamole. I was impressed by him going the extra mile to minimize the chances that I would get glutened!

This is probably the only decent chipotle in Albuquerque, the staff is usually friendly, the food is usually fresh they never are out of ingredients and are willing to correct a mistake. Unlike any of the other chipotle’s In the Albuquerque metro.

Do not ever go here during lunch time hours. Given a ice cold burrito bowl missing multiple ingredients.
