We went last year for my daughter’s Birthday and loved it. The service was attentive and fun. The food was excellent we had a great time. Well it’s a year later and my daughter’s birthday again and she requested Tomashi’s again…so off we go 😁
Tamashi in Albuquerque is one of the best sushi restaurants! Everything is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The sushi chefs are also very talented.

Lena was the absolute best server and sushi was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be revisiting next time I’m in Albuquerque.

Tamashi is a charming restaurant in Albuquerque that serves a variety of Asian-inspired dishes. The menu features a range of options, including sushi, ramen, and other Japanese and Korean dishes. Standout items include the shrimp tempura, Korean short ribs, and sushi rolls like the BTS roll. The sushi is excellent, perhaps the best in town, with fresh, beautifully presented fish. The fatty tuna is so delicious, it's worth the cost. With its great music, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service, Tamashi is a great spot for a date night, a family dinner, or a special occasion. Prepare to have to wait on a busy weekend night, but sometimes you can walk right in to a seat at the bar.
