“We received a recommendation to eat here. So glad we did. The food was excellent. Really, really good. Good thing we don’t live here I’d be eating here all the time! I ordered vegetable tempura and the vegetable chicken. Delicious. And Mike, the general manager. What a personable guy. So nice to us.Do yourself a favor and eat here.“
“Very great place! It’s little hole in the wall that we found by a post online and we’re super happy to have tried it! The inside is super charming with posters and photos about everywhere that they possibly could be placed. You order by checking off which rolls you would like on a given menu, so this is great for all you introverts. The rolls were so good and STUFFED with the fillings! Definitely gonna come back. I wish I took pictures of the rolls, but we were starving and they looked delicious!! Almost forgot too, 50% off the sushi rolls!!“
“Visiting NM for a few days and found this gem. Great food and great people that work there. I ended up not liking the glass noodles (wanted to try them because I've never tasted them before) and she gave me extra rice for free. My chicken was a bit dry, not sure why, but it has good sauce. Also, you get little kimchis with your meals that are delicious. ?“
“We tried this restaurant for the first time today. I got the chicken hibachi and an avocado roll, and my partner got the combination udon and an egg roll. We thought the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and atmosphere was also excellent.“
“This was seriously some of the best sushi I've had since coming back! I wish it weren't in a food court, but the price was reasonable, especially for the quality. They were happy to accommodate an allergy too. It's fresh and delicious!“
“Very pleasant. Excellent service. Quiet place with free parking.Started with amazing miso soup. Wonderful sushi, great variety. Scallop island was delicious and so was the Y.O.L.O Roll. Shrimp of fire was a superb presentation. Every dish was yummy. Must visit. Not v expensive.“
“Excellent sushi. Some of the best sushi I've had in Albuquerque. Highly recommend Sushibucks. Also has a few parking spaces next to the restaurant. It's pretty easy parking in the evenings. (Parking would be difficult during the day when UNM is in session, I suspect.).“
“Wonderful place really good food. I'm not a sushi fan, I went with my family, they love sushi and they were impressed. I had the Hawaiian rice (yes with pineapple) and it was delicious. We had the mussels for an appetizer and they were some of the best mussels I have ever had truly delicious. Our server was a great guy really enjoyed, but I forgot his name, Sorry. But, yeah great place great food, a wonderful night.Oh yeah, try the unfiltered saki, very good.“
“I had a fantastic experience at Sakura Sushi! The restaurant is impeccably clean, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. The service was remarkably quick, ensuring that I didn't have to wait long for my meal. What truly stood out, though, was the consistently high quality of the food. Each dish I tried was delicious and expertly prepared, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend Sakura Sushi to anyone looking for excellent sushi and impeccable service.“
“Everything we had here was very good. Stop by and check them out, they have good sushi ? and I really enjoyed my orange chicken, the fry they had on it was perfect ?????Parking: I had a trailer with me and still found parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes they are kid friendly, also have high chairs if needed.“
“Fabulous place to eat! The spicy ramen was so flavorful, only thing to make it better would be marinated eggs, would still order again. The avocado bomb was so good that I might go back and just eat that! The crepe cake desert was good and different, would probably go for mochi next time. Can't wait to check out the west side location!“
“Huge portions at a very affordable price. The Spicy Tuna hand roll was bigger than my hand! The Nigiri and Cali Roll were also much larger than the normal sushi I typically get a sushi places. The staff was also super friendly. I highly recommend, go check them out!“
“Great food truck! The food was fantastic, well prepared food and served hot! The little fish shaped pancakes were a hit with my tot. We will definitely be back! Try some egg rolls they won't disappoint. On another note: I just wanted to point out too how kind the food truck owners are. I really appreciate that!“
“I’m no expert in sushi so I’ll leave the food reviews to others. But the service and care here is excellent. From the moment you sit down you’re served a delicious miso soup. The two women who were serving tables were so quick and attentive. And the food was beautifully presented. Thanks for a lovely evening.“
“Large portions of delicious food! The wait was longer than a takeout but we'll worth it. My wife and I shared a sushi roll and had to take most of the food home as leftovers because there was so much! The people are friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended.“
“First time in a long time, I finally got my "extra" unagi (eel) roll! Ichiban has a superb unagi roll! It's difficult for me find a good sushi restaurant that actually gives you enough freshwater eel. But this sushi-ya is super generous with my fave dish! I am definitely coming back for that super eel roll! My mom got the yakisoba and that was actually pretty good too! The noodles were a bit too soft/overcooked but the entire dish was deliciously seasoned, with veggies perfectly al dented! 10/10 will return!!“
“We've been searching for our go to Japanese place in Albuquerque for years now. For a while we thought it was Samurai, but their quality decreased. I am so glad, because it led to us trying Nagomi. Some of the best sushi and Japanese curry we've ever had. Looking forward to many, many more visits. I also love their little snacks/tea shop.“
“Love it! Go often as family or on business.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Vegan options available, may need to ask server pointed questions.Dietary restrictions: Able to customize. GF ability, may need to remind about soy sauce, depends on server.Parking: When busy, parking can be difficult. Parking in back usually available, but it's a little walk. Parking lot pass through lanes are small.Wheelchair accessibility: 3 handicap parking spots. A few spots otherwise that work for opening doors wide. Nice gentle grades. Usually people around to open doors.“
“This place is great!! The sushi was fresh and good portion. A lot of times you get sushi and it's super expensive and tiny! NOT the case with Tokyo Bangkok!! The atmosphere was great and the service matched!! Would highly recommend and visit again!“
“This restaurant has really heightened the quality, it reminds me of the episode of The Bear where the staff make sure every customer in their restaurant is satisfied just by using their observations and intuition. Food was fantastic, love the environment. I came during a rainy day and the miso just hit different. The only thing I would change about this place is the carpeting. Seriously though, this restaurant is awesome! Bravo ?“
“Delicious! Had the ribs and noodles. The ribs were a perfect spice level, tender, fell off the bone; I opted for the Gf noodles and they were a delight. Cocktails 10/10.Very much appreciate the filtered water.Next time Im in Abq I will absolutely return!“
“Great sushi, service and variety of sushi options...they were out of halibut which was disappointing... but there were other options. Fatty Tuna was cut too thick... but great quality. This was the second time we have been here! Service was great for how busy they were on New years Eve.“
“We were looking for some authentic Thai food so we came to this place inside of a strip mall. They have living plants in the entrance which is a good sign, and the colorful atmosphere with lots of trinkets. The walls were extremely dirty by the booth, and there was no music but a children's cartoon on the TV for atmospheric audio. The waitress forgot about the appetizers, but the meals were delicious and so was the Thai iced tea. Once we got our food they did put on some music but the kids TV show was still the most prevalent sound in the air.The food was pretty authentic in our opinion and you get quite a lot of food for a good price. I just think the cleanliness could have been a lot better, so I didn't give it a high score for atmosphere.“
“Amazing sushi and other dishes, attentive service, great prices, and a cozy atmosphere. The sushi is top-notch, but if people in your party don't care for sushi there is a delicious variety of other dishes. Note that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.“
“We had an excellent experience. We were able to sub california rolls from the daily special for something more gluten friendly without any hassle at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Dietary restrictions: Easy to sub gluten free soy sauce and rolls.“
“I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!! They cook the food on a grill at your table or you can just get it brought out to you. I went with my Mom and sisters for lunch. The food was Amazing. We had the Filet Mignon ?. It just melted in your mouth..!!! ALL I can say is "I finished my whole plate, something I rarely do". I would recommend Azuma for the whole family or a get together with friends or colleagues. Mmmm ?Kid-friendliness: There was a child there... about 3 or 4 he was amazed with the chef who cooked at the table!!!!“
“Good food, good service, nice calm atmosphere.Koi fish in the lobby follow as you walk by.This is a fushion restaurant. Not an authentic Japanese restaurant.I think it's Filipino, with Thai influence particularly in the salad dressing.Good pairings of sweet and savory.I ordered a sushi appetizer with tuna, and a hibachi combo plate with filet mignon, shrimp, and vegetables(broccoli, zucchini, carrots, peppers) it was all very good except for the rice on the combo plate, I think it may have absorbed some plastic flavor from the portion bags. I'm not sure.I was interested in watching the food on the grill, but I was unable to ask, and I was dining alone. But overall this a good place to stop and eat, with very nice clean bathrooms.“
“Good food! The service was great in my opinion. I cannot believe how fast our food came out. Like 3 minutes for the first plate, and the kitchen meals were like 5 mins. The menu is a bit confusing if you just want a la carte. There are no prices on rolls. (But they were fairly priced so didn't matter).Greate atmosphere though! The moon is hypnotizing.“
“Delicious food! Service is fast. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other places. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The space is open yet intimate. The sushi was delicious and very fresh. I also enjoyed smelling all of the other foods that were being fried up at the surrounding tables. I'm excited to come back here and try more food!“
“Pros:* Delicious bulgogi* Tasty banchan* Decent atmosphereCons:* Service was a bit slowOverall:I enjoyed my meal at Korean BBQ House. The bulgogi was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the banchan were just as good. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, but the service could have been a bit faster. If you're looking for a good Korean BBQ experience in ABQ, I recommend checking this place out.“
“We always love this place, it's the freshest sushi in Albuquerque, and the AYCE concept works great, enabling the table to get a variety of differing rolls as well as nigiri. Whenever anyone suggests sushi in the northeast heights we always think of Sushi Gen.“
“Delicious sushi and miso soup! I had the volcano roll and it was amazing. Lots of fresh fish and green chile! Not too much rice! I think you can tell from the photo how perfect it was. Cute little delicious orange cut up like a cat at the end!Parking: Some free spaces in the small parking lot next to the restaurant, and additional metered street parking.“
