“I used it for lunch. The hamachi bowl was flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff at the restaurant were very fluent in Japanese, so it was possible to order in Japanese as well. I could feel the love for Japan in the souvenir lineup.I still want to use it.“
“I've been coming here to eat sushi and hibachi for years. One of the very few places a person can eat hibachi in Santa Fe. Food is always delicious. They have an extensive menu, so it is hard to decide what to eat since everything is good. Service is good but not great, as it is short staffed like most places nowadays.“
“Loved this place. I think maybe a new waitress when we were there and we got our food before my daughter because we had sushi and she has something from the kitchen—actually another customer got very upset and made a scene but I would definitely recommend this place. We’ll be back! Authentic Japanese sushi chef too ❤️“
“This is easily one of my favorite sushi spots in Santa Fe. I love the sashimi plate and typically will order seaweed salad, miso soup, sashimi, and two sushi rolls. I have so far enjoyed everything that I have had here and will continue to recommend it to those who have never been!“
“I have been coming to Chopstix for a long while now. And this is the first time I have written a review on it. Do not let the look of the building fool you, this place has wonderful food at a great price, and the owners are very kind. But my main reason for writing a review is that I wanted to thank Chopstix. I got food for a sick family member who has been having a difficult time finding things that they could eat and with a specific craving. I got them chicken chow mein, and it was happily devoured. To see them eat a full meal like that made me very happy. So thank you Chopstix, for being around and providing great food for the community you help serve.“
“Took my grandkids here for a late lunch. The food and service were very good it is like a cafeteria type setting but quaint, good Japanese music as well. I had a very good pan beef with rice noodles, delicious. Everyone else had the rolls, avocado, California, veggie catapiller, tuna, happy, and the shrimp roll, with a side of meatless Japanese fried rice. They didn't have any mango mochi, but the strawberry one was good. It was a bit short on the edamame, but it was good. I did like their iced green tea, very tasty. The place is clean and the staff is very attentive. Plenty of parking.Vegetarian options: One of my granddaughters is a very strict vegetarian, and she enjoyed the menu items on it.“
“Today was our first time trying sushi8 and it was amazing! We ordered to-go and had the classic California roll, Dream roll, Hello Kitty roll and the hibachi shrimp! Going back soon! Also the Thai tea’s were perfect!! They come in the cutest to-go cups? love it!Parking: It was easy to find a spot to park.Kid-friendliness: The staff was great with our kids!“
“I wanted to give this a 5 star across the board but just could not. The food and atmosphere were amazing. The tapas style menu allows you to try many things. The portions were bigger than expected so don't let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. My main complaints with the service is our table for two was located next to two large groups, one of which was very loud. Our table was too close the servers bumped into me way too many times while I was eating. It was clear the servers were catering to these two large groups and our server was not attentive. The food came out reasonably well but at one point our server was not even sure what food was brought out to our table.“
