Izanami restaurant was hands down the best experience in Santa Fe I had. The spirit of the property feels welcoming, airy and indulgent. The team was amazing. Kaz's sake knowledge felt like we were being told a story and our server, Alyssa I believe, was so great and made our bachelorette celebration memorable. The food is just sublime, no other word. Beautiful atmosphere but the food fell a little short for the price. Also, just want to point out that it is “Japanese inspired” cuisine. There is sashimi and nigiri on the menu, but don't expect an assortment of sushi rolls. On a separate note, we did really enjoy their margaritas.

Spectacular Japanese. I would not say that though fish quality was superb, but given the location, who could expect that. The preparation was unique, and there were several dishes I had not previously had. Pork ribs were some of the best I’ve had.
