We’ve frequented The Compound restaurant throughout our 23 years living in New Mexico
and have had mostly good, not amazing experiences, however we mostly brushed average experiences off as, “maybe a bad night”? So today we had a reservation for lunch and expected something special. Excellent service and food in a lovely setting. Superb wine list too!

We had requested the Rainbow room and at first you tried to sit us next to the kitchen…ugh We waited for another table but it really wasn’t much better.
The food and service were great, but the whole table situation really rubbed us the wrong way.
I had made a reservation for 2pm
But then one of friends said to ask for the Rainbow room. So I called back, requested to room, and she said if you come at 2:30 you can have the room.
