“This place is ridiculously DELIGHTFUL. The character of the restaurant, the decor, the staff... it's just a perfect little gem. If you get a chance, try to eat on the patio. I've had Indian food through the years and always like trying new things, but I'd never had a doja or experienced this tradition of food. Of course, I had to try the paper dosa... I mean, if they're gonna name the place after the dish, hit me with your best shot! I have never seen anything like that on a plate, which immediately made me giggle when the server brought it! But, the taste was not funny. It was absolutely delicious. I'm reminded by the H. Jackson Brown quote, "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do." This is one of those places you'll be disappointed to miss.”

I called to speak wirh Venessa the owner but she was busy. I verified with the lady that answered that she was the one who packed the food and explained to her what had happened and she was rude. Very poor customer service.”

The noise in the main dining room bothered my hearing aids (my fault - not theirs) and the staff was delighted to move us to an area at the bar that was less noisy. (Also - we love sitting at bars. We get to talk to interesting people! ) The Food, wine, service weee excellent. Make a reservation and enjoy!”

“There is nothing we don’t love about this restaurant. The food is “real” New Mexican with some excellent special touches by the chef. The ambiance is wonderful, and the decor is authentic. Even the music is well selected and at a volume that enables pleasant conversation during the meal. The staff is helpful, responsive and friendly. A special shout out to Daniel, who is appropriately attentive and professional, always with a smile. Already looking forward to our next visit!”

Me and my husband ordered a size medium container of mac&cheese and it was super cheap and they give you A LOT. We were super full. Congrats to the owner.”

“This is a mixed review. Jospeh is a formidable chef, but the restaurant itself is run down, chairs uncomfortable, noise level excessive and service sketchy. Some of our food (Duck confit pad thai and mixed mushrooms) was excellent, but the watermelon gazpacho was way too heavy on the garlic, and my husband couldn't eat it. Tuna tartare was mediocre and overpriced. Waitress couldn't stop asking how things were "TASTING", but didn't wait for an answer! Building should probably be condemned and the decor is falling apart.”

“Amazing experience with a menu you won't find anywhere else in Santa Fe. My wife and I each chose to do a tasting menu which consisted of 5 courses. Each one was extremely flavorful and not overly filling. By the end of the meal, after dessert, we were sufficiently full without feeling overwhelmed.”

“My wife and I dined at The Pink Adobe on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. There was no wait time as we had a reservation. It was a special occasion, my wife's birthday. The ambiance was very nice; we sat inside as the music outside was a bit loud. Our waiter was very pleasant, although seemingly a bit overwhelmed. The food was very good but we were a bit shocked at the small size of the beet salad. We opted to share it and it would have been very little for one person. In addition, we were charged $8 for sharing. We were not informed about this charge ahead of ordering. We were pleasantly surprised to be served the traditional Pink Adobe apple pie as a birthday treat. All in all, it was a nice experience.”

“On a previous trip to Santa Fe, Izanami was my favorite bite. Not so this time around. The eggplant was very good, but everything else was underwhelming. On the previous visit, I was able to order the bimbimbop and bento box for dinner. Those (amazing) items were not available during dinner. Even more, or server was inattentive and not available to offer guidance. The setting is still beautiful, but this particular visit did disappint.”

All of my tapas were pretty delish, and I really liked their Spanish mushroom soup, papatas bravas and and mussels with coconut milk salsa verde: everything was spot on. Their Spanish negroni cocktail was lovely, too. The gateau basque dessert kinda ruined my meal: it seems to have been sitting in the fridge for the day but it was certainly not made fresh and I could hardly taste vanilla bean in it. A lady manager came by and was rather kind to comp it after I declined to try another dessert instead.”

“We visited here to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and it was the highlight of our evening.

Aesthetics- This is an amazingly beautiful place. They took the idea of a glamorous speakeasy and executed it to perfection. The piano player contributed to the mood, playing at the perfect volume to allow us to enjoy both the music and our conversations. Even the staff’s dress alluded to the theme.

Food and Drinks - Though some menu items were pricey, others were much more reasonable. The portion sizes were generous enough that we felt sated (not like some other fancy Santa Fe restaurants where we needed to get fast food later to fill up 😉) The drink selection was varied and the cocktails were inspired. The cocktails which my husband and I ordered were artfully done, and tasted like the descriptions in the menus, while still providing a nice buzz. (I hate when I order a drink based on the description but then can only taste the alcohol!) We ate the Fritto Misto, Truffle Gouda Pasta with shrimp, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Each was impressive and delicious. We ordered the pomme d’oro for dessert; it was delightful in both presentation and flavor.

Service - Extremely thoughtful and attentive. I asked for water and they offered “sparkling, still or tap”. I asked for still; and though they left the bottle at the table, we never once had to refill our own glasses, they ensured the glasses were never empty. The waitress helped me select a cocktail, and graciously allowed us to finish our appetizer and cleared the plate before our entrees were brought to us. (This is not always our experience when dining out.) Later, our remaining food was taken to the back to be boxed and bagged before being returned to us. We dine out frequently, and lament that good service is so rare in Santa Fe, our hometown. But the service at Gatsby’s was impeccable!

Final Thoughts - I love having a reason to get all dolled up, and am so glad to have a place like Gatsby’s which is worthy of my best efforts! 😘. My husband prefers to dress casually but did wear a collared button up shirt with his jeans. There is no dress code for Gatsby’s, they welcome you as you are. But putting on something nice (and forcing my husband to do it) contributed to our enjoyment of this fabulous place. After such an exquisite experience, we plan to return.”

“This McDonald’s on Cerrillos Road is perfectly situated if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels and need a quick, familiar option. The biggest advantage of this specific location is that the drive-thru is open 24 hours, making it incredibly convenient for early morning departures or late-night road trip arrivals.

Overall, it is a perfectly fine, predictable option for a fast-food fix, just give yourself an extra few minutes if the drive-thru line looks long!”

Someone in my office recommended this place and they did not disappoint!! I got the catfish and fries. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was amazing as well! “The food at La Choza is excellent. There are a ton of vegetarian options, and the green chiles and margaritas are delicious. We went to this restaurant 2 out of 3 days we were in Santa Fe, and if we were staying longer, we would go again. The server our second night was Luis. We had never met such an outstanding server. Luis made sure we had all the information to order something we would enjoy. He noticed that some crema was left off of my chile relleño before I even noticed, and he immediately sent some to the table. He was friendly, and when we mentioned what an excellent job he did, he said it was because he loves people. I hope you get to meet him while you are eating there!”

“We stayed at the Inn on the Alameda April 9th and 10th, 2026 while visiting Santa Fe for my uncle’s Celebration of Life. We cannot say ENOUGH about how wonderful this hotel is. It has a lovely atmosphere…the ambiance is SUPERB! It is quiet, quaint and very safe. The staff is the most courteous, warm, helpful and sincere of anywhere we have ever stayed. When I say staff, I mean ALL STAFF, from front desk staff, breakfast staff, house maid staff, parking staff and Joe’s Tequila Bar staff…they are GREAT!! It is obvious they love where they work and represent their jobs to the very best of their abilities. It is well located to be able to walk almost anywhere you need to go and you feel safe doing so. They have a wonderful free breakfast (more like going to a nice restaurant than a hotel). All of the food is fresh and very well presented. They have shuttle service if needed (we did not use, but it was offered to us if we got out and about and it was needed). We stopped in at Joe’s Tequila Bar (another perk of this hotel) both evenings before retiring for the night for a superb Margarita, fresh guacamole one evening and a very smooth shot of tequila the next evening….they had just began stocking this particular tequila. Joe’s has a darling patio area with shade umbrellas and heaters, but they also have inside seating for those who prefer that. This hotel earns our BEST RATING!!! Thank you Inn on the Alameda…we will be back ❤️”

“Haven’t been in Santa Fe since the Covid plandemic but I’m going back mid April and the Matador is first thing to do on my list. That is just a place anyone will feel at home quickly if you get in a conversation with anyone there. Like the place immensely.”

“Our first time at the Ranch House was less than an exceptional experience. Our waitress, Peggy Lee was the most professional, courteous and friendly person I have met at a resturante. She made us feel like we were old friends . The food was absolutely the best flavored I have experienced. “Cozy dining space with lots of seating options indoors and outdoors. The food is good, no bad choices, especially breakfast & brunch meals. Morning service consistency could use some improvement...coffee should always be served with stirring spoons but the staff forgets, and brewed coffee should always be filtered and grounds-free, but we've had gritty mud at the bottoms of our cups a few times. Food comes out fast & hot once ordered, but it can take 10 or 15 minutes for the morning staff to offer coffee & water & take a food order. Otherwise, nice hotel restaurant & we've never had a bad meal here.”

“Don’t be fooled by the lackluster store front. This place makes their own noodles and dumplings! They were top notch, with large portions. The classic Chinese food was just so-so. Compared to other restaurants around the plaza, the prices were very reasonable.

While we were there, they were making dumplings, so you may be able to watch that process if that interests you.”

“Everyone in the Santa Fe area should visit and consider adopting a cat from this wonderful cat cafe. You get to sit and get to know all the cats. We were visiting from out of the state and just needed to hang out with some cats. We would have adopted from here if we lived in the area. They are all ready and waiting for a forever home!!”

Most of the time when a side of beans and rice is served I usually taste it but do not ever eat it. I cleaned my plate! The service was extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. “While the atmosphere was quite lovely, the service was a bit slow. It took 30 minutes to get a small Caesar salad, which was lacking in flavor. The pepperoni pizza edges were crispy and tasty but the bottom of the pizza was soggy. The spaghetti noodles were handmade today but they were doughy to chew. They needed to be cooked longer or made thinner. $5 for a single meatball because they don’t serve meat sauce.”

“I placed an order online to be delivered to my family member. The delivery was messed up by the delivery company, so I called the store and spoke to the manager. She was SO sweet and helpful! She got another order put together right away, out the door and delivered to my family member. My family member said they were some of the best cookies he's ever tasted! “Very delicious little creperie in the Railyard District! My wife and I ordered one sweet (Nutecrepe with bananas) and one savory (Pepperoni crepe). Both were very good and I wish we could have had more! It was a little bit pricey, but overall was worth it.”
