Over the past week or so my husband and I have gone to at least four different taco truck and Tacos y Burritos La Fe (which is on Facebook as Lonchera La Fe) is the best so far. When we started eating my husband asked me what I thought and I said that it was the best of the carnitas tacos we've had so far (we get the carnitas everywhere, and the other flavors change according to the day). Tacos y burritos la fe is an awesome restaurant with amazing, delicious, and flavorful food. The menu is incredible and impressive. Specific meals mentioned include the Tacos La Fe Al Pastor, which are life-changing with perfectly seasoned al pastor and eye-opening salsa, and the best tripas tacos, which are crispy, super tasty, and pan-fried. Sergio's Pinches taco is also a standout. Rice and beans is a must. The portions are generous, and the price is worth it, with an example of $50 for 2 people for a taco plate, burrito, 2 tacos, a plate of fries, and 2 cokes. The atmosphere is pretty cool, intimidating at first, but then one sees the beauty in the simplicity. The service is awesome, with polite, friendly, and very nice staff. It is one of the favorite food trucks in Santa Fe, behind the main buildings and worth the effort to find.
