“Great bean burrito no cheese.Vegetarian options: Bean burrito no cheese is a good vegetarian option as are the chile rellenos. Note refried beans are traditionally made with lard.”
“Ordered Pig and Fig sandwich. Brie was melted, and fig wasn't overwhelming. It was a delightful sandwich. SO ordered tortellini and it was cooked to perfect al dente. Enjoyed the visit. Chocolate croissant was delicious and flaky.”
“Great coffee shop near Eldorado! The Artistic License Gallery's Meet the Artist Event today was made even more special by the wonderful beverages and pastries that were available thanks to Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Roasters! Thanks to everyone who turned out and supported our local businesses!”
“Wanted something quick and easy, so stopped in here for breakfast. We just left the Farmers Market, where let me tell you, if you enjoy fresh vegetables, this is the place to stop by on Thursdays! Breakfast menu was simple and affordable. Kind of an old school feel.”
“I am prepared to give this place all of my money. It is so cute, and so peaceful. The staff made me feel so welcome. The food was yummy and the service was fast. I absolutely love it here. Thank you Cafe Sushi!”
“I haven’t eaten in every restaurant in Los Alamos, in fact I’ve only eaten at this one, but I could not imagine having a better meal! Everything was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was wonderful. We had the fried bao, shrimp lo mein, and jasmine tea and we would order it all again in a heartbeat. This was clearly a place that locals frequent. We felt like the only tourists here despite being next to the science museum.”
“The customer service was amazing ?. The staff was very friendly and very detailed in explaining menu options. The plating was beautiful and all the ingredients tasted fresh and the food was absolutely delicious. We are not disappointed we stopped in. Que Rico la Comida!”
“Had a great prior visit but one this day they had very limited beer selection due to equipment problems in the brewery. No knock on the place but check or call ahead to see what’s on tap.”
“I absolutely adore Minnie's bakery! She is so, so sweet and kind and her baked goods are always fresh, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. To preface -- I love bread and dessert -- I grew up eating a LOT of Asian bread in the California bay area and in Taiwan, and everything we've ordered from Minnie has been on par, or even better, than any of the bakeries I've been to. It's amazing she can churn out baked goods like this, despite the high altitude, as it can make baking things consistently a challenge. With that said, she's truly mindful of her craft and clearly cares very, very much about her baked goods. So far, we've ordered the milk cream bread, caramel pecan sticky buns, earl grey madeleines, egg pies, and various fruit tarts. Everything was packaged beautifully and looks just like the photos on her website. The madeleines were nothing like I had before: beautiful glaze, fluffy texture, with a huge punch of lovely, early grey flavor. The sticky buns were cinnamon-y, soft, and decadently amazing, with the right balance of sweet and nutty. The tarts were glazed and baked perfectly; the pâte sucrée she uses for the pie crust is the best I've had almost anywhere (and trust me, I've made and had a looooot of pies and tarts). When I first had the milk cream bread and egg pies, I was overjoyed. They were just like the desserts I had growing up and they briefly brought me back to my hometown. I honestly wasn't sure if we were going to even have bread like this in a place like Los Alamos, so I'm so, so glad Minyoung's bakery exists. If she ever opens a brick and mortar store, we'll definitely be amongst her first customers.”
“Just ate dinner here and it was OK. The staff were very friendly and what I ate (the scallops) was delicious. My issue is there was so little food on my plate I almost laughed when it was placed in front of me. My photo angle makes the plate look full, but the polenta took up less than half the plate - the asparagus took up more. For $32. So this $32 bit of food, bread and butter, and 1 old fashioned cocktail came to $54.”
“I'm in from out of town and google doesn't show there being many dinner options in Los Alamos near my hotel. Boese Bros popped up with good reviews so I went. HOLY COW this chicken green chili panini is literally the best thing ever. I can't remember the last time a sandwich made me so happy. The pasta salad that it came with was so good too. HIGHLY recommend!”
“In the spirit of Cinco De Mayo, there was a wonderful Mexican buffet. There was soo much good food for an early dinner while it was still quiet. The staff was friendly and there was some fun Mexican music playing in the background.”
“I stop all the time for their ground beef tacos, they are the bomb. I really didn’t rate the atmosphere only because it’s inside a convenience store, what’s there to say, nothing wrong with that either. They always have clean tables.”
“Chili Works is a dive location and if you know dives, they make the best food! Highly recommend the Steak Green Chili Burrito. When I travel I look for the dive restaurants because you know it’s going to be on point. Service is fast, food is hot and ready to go in no time flat (took me 3 minutes to get 3 burritos). I’ve been in Los Alamos 22 years and am really going to miss these burritos.”
“Cool little eatery on the UNM Los Alamos campus. I only found this place because of Google maps. It's up the stairs near the parking lot. I wasn't sure what to order. I took a gamble by ordering the pozole. The pozole was more like a chili. Weirdly, it tasted exactly like pozole. I actually really liked. It's really spicy btw. So beware.”
“Burritos are my absolute favorite food - and this was one of the best burritos I've had in my entire life (Arizona Burrito). For only 8 dollars! I had to take some home with me because the portions are so big. The sauces and pico were absolutely delicious. Super fast service and authentic atmosphere. If you're in Los Alamos, do not miss this place - it's a must do. I would even take a detour and re route my trip to come here again.”
“Whether you hang out with friends, family, or even alone, this place will become one of your favourite's. The staff service will further make your visit memorable and the food is too good to comment on! One less star for the cleanliness, but that's fine as the space is almost packed up all time.”
“What goes great with NFL Playoff Football? Papa Murphy’s pizza! Their service and food quality is great, consistent, and of excellent value.Don’t waste your time at fraudulent Domino’s, who are experts at screwing up your order, and delivering your pizza to the wrong address.Thank you for coming in clutch, Papa Murphy’s!”
“The best. Bagel. Ever. My family lived in Los Alamos in 04-07, and Ruby K was our weekly Saturday breakfast place. Visited Los Alamos every few years since then, and I made sure I ate my fill of Ruby K before flying back home. The up-and-atom is the best. The four-cheese panini is out of this world. The Bavarian chocolate coffee is amazing. Shocked to hear that the owner is retiring. Hope she finds a buyer to carry on this amazing tradition.”
“This is a great local upscale cocktail lounge. The drinks are always delicious and they offer a seasonal menu that keeps new options available. The ambiance is high class; however, the prices are really good. The service is always quick and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here. It is conveniently locate in downtown Los Alamos and close to everything. If you live in Los Alamos or visiting, check this place out!”
“This is an amazing local gem! After trying to do a large lunch order with other local restaurants with no success, Hot Rocks Java Cafe came thru in a huge way! We had a last minute large lunch order. They accommodated us with no problems and were so pleasant!! Their food options are always delicious. I highly recommed❤️”
“Good food but not sure what's up with the people ordering food and going to the drive through a minute later holding up the whole drive through line for 15 minutes. They should be told to park and come inside if they are to early for their order.”
“I come here a lot really good. Awesome staff Ambrick (I believe that is how you spell his name) super nice guy love talking to him about football been coming here for a couple years now.”
“Wow! Just visit this place whenever you are at LA. You will never forget the taste of the food, service, or even the amazing tea drink they offer. Totally recommended!”
“It's more expensive than the food is worth, but it's often worth the convenience of having an on-site cafeteria. And the food isn't half bad either. :)”
“Okay, so the place is empty, which worried me. But I'm from Dallas TX so I'm use to crowded restaurants. But I gotta say, the service was good, food=good, drinks=exceptional. We ordered a off-menu cocktail = Mezcal Mule. Excellent execution. MADRE Mezcal, Espadin and Ensamble. The calamari was good, the Al Pastor was good, and the fish tacos were good. A plus was also they're open til 9pm.Service was good. If you're a impatient Millineal-Gen Z, this place might irritate you. Me, GenXer, no problem. Tranquilo, que no pasa nada.”
“This was our first visit but certainly will not be the last! The atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy. We had a beautiful view over looking the golf course and we lost count of how many deer we saw!The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent! The food? The food was exquisite!!! We all had a seafood dish that was very tasty! The dessert was out of this world! We can’t wait to go back! Such a great place!”
“You're not going to find better Pizza than this in New Mexico. Take it from a New Yorker, this place makes a great pizza. I had almost given up hope so grateful that they are here.”
“Excellent food and something for everyone, including the vegan and the meat-lover in my family. Everyone agrees the falafel and hummus are top notch and we're picky about both!”
“This place is amazing. The low prices and high-quality food are a perfect duo. The owner is also very friendly. 10/10 would recommendParking: there is plenty of roomKid-friendliness: they have a wonderful kids menu”
