Pyramid cafe & L.A Cantina Reviews
Didn't get to try the food. They are supposedly open all day, but they are not. They randomly decide to take a break at 2 until 4, even though they had customers. This was not posted on their door, on their website, or on Facebook. Please take note to call before arriving!

On our way home to CO we decided to stop here for lunch and let's just say I wish we had a Pyramid in CO!! This place is absolutely delicious! I had the kabobs (one chicken and one gyro) which were amazing and so flavorful while my boyfriend had the lamb schwarma. The tzikiki sauce is unbelievable and the baba gannoush is delightful. The server, Brando, was so accommodating and friendly! Highly recommended!!

Pyramid Cafe & L.A Cantina is a cozy restaurant in Los Alamos that offers a variety of Middle Eastern, Lebanese, and Mediterranean dishes. The food is highly praised for its authenticity and great flavor. Many customers enjoy their Greek food, especially the Greek Salad and Gyros, which are considered some of the best outside of Chicago. The restaurant features a small, comfortable space with around 10 tables, making it a good spot for lunch. Guests order using an electronic tablet at the table, which is easy to use and allows for convenient splitting of bills. The staff are friendly and efficient, providing good service whether bringing out food or helping with menu choices.
The menu includes popular items like the chicken combo plate, gyro plate, hummus, baba ghanoush, and chicken soup. The gyro meat is cooked to perfection, with a seared outside that adds a nice texture. Portions are generally large, and the prices offer good value for the quality and quantity of food. Some reviewers mention that the restaurant's new location is more convenient and that the menu options are diverse, offering a refreshing change from typical American or Mexican cuisine in the area.
While most experience positive, a few mention that service can be inconsistent, especially after moving to the new location, and some find the booths uncomfortable. Overall, Pyramid Cafe & L.A Cantina is recommended for those seeking flavorful, authentic food with friendly service in a casual setting, making it a standout in Los Alamos for lunch and takeout options.
