The Bone Marrow, Ceviche, and Red Snapper was excellent. Family owned, great wine menu, and our waitress was wonderful.

Zacatlan is an excellent restaurant that offers a memorable dining experience. The food is inventive and high-quality, with many interesting vegetarian options. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including the falling off the bone lamb shank barbacoa, cochinita pibil, and branzino al pastor. The daily special squash blossom appetizer is phenomenal, and the mole poblano is very good. For dessert, the bread pudding tamales with saffron ice cream provide a perfect ending.
The restaurant is a hidden gem and a favorite in Santa Fe. The service is friendly, well-timed, and informative. Portions are just right. The creative margaritas and house sangria are excellent. Zacatlan showcases true México City-style cuisine, with each course prepared and executed flawlessly. The noise level can be high, but overall, the experience is memorable, delighting guests with its inventive cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. The laid-back vibe and excellent service make it a perfect place for a special meal.
