“We went to Joseph's during Santa Fe's Restaurant Week (such a fun time!). On the Restaurant Week's menu, though one could order from the regular menu, there were at least 8 options for Starters, 10 for Grands, another 6 for Sweets. (Our waitress told us that there was a little different menu each night for those who came more than once during the week.) YUMM! I chose the ceviche, just the right amount of lime, the half duck with a wonderful sweet and sour sauce, and the butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce. Well! It was perhaps the best dessert I've ever had, for sure among the top five; I'll be going back if for nothing more than that. One last word for our attentive waitstaff Sam who always had a smile, and for Michelle who knew every dish and described each with an intimate knowledge of flavor nuances and ingredients. Just a wonderful night all around!“
“The Pantry is such a cozy and yummy spot for breakfast, in our case. I had the stuffed French toast which was absolutely delicious. The creamy filling paired perfectly with the strawberry topping and the toast itself was just right. I’ve never had French toast done up in such a way before and now I’m going to be looking for a place closer to home where I can get the same. Service was great and attentive despite a packed house.“
“Good food and good service! Been there 3 times now, tried their Belgium waffles with strawberries, the waffle was nice a crispy on the outside and thick and fluffy. I've also tried their French toast and that was also great! I forget the name of the other dish I got, but the red and green chili with their potatoes is so good!“
“Ordered the Santa Fe Mac and the Ham & Cheese grilled cheese. Grilled cheese was top notch! Would definitely get one of them again. Mac was good but needed something… we prefer it saltier but that’s just our personal preference. We actually crumbled the chips that came with our grilled cheese in it and loved it! Would definitely come here again!“
“So, this place was recommended so we decide to try it for lunch. The cost leaves a lot to be desired. It was $15 for a grilled cheese. My wife and son did not care for their meals. It was $50 for 3 to have lunch. While the service was not horrible, it was not great either. They did not have assigned tables, so the servers did not know who was gonna help us and had 3 people trying to take our order, and our water was not refilled.“
“We always love going to Terra Cotta and make it a point to recommend to friends and out of town guests every chance we get. Glenda and Linda are most gracious owners/hosts and we always are made to feel at home. Best wine menu and value in town!“
“Perfect dinner at Arroyo Vino last night....top 3 overall in Santa Fe....might be #1. World class food and service. Best wine list in town- interesting and great value top to bottom. Easily the best restaurant service I have received so far this year. Tried 5 dishes...all were near perfect. Will be back soon.“
“I spent 6 days/nights in Santa Fe & had a lot of good food. This was my hands-down favorite. Elegant atmosphere, truly excellent food (including dessert), exceptional waitstaff (August), & good value. 10-year James Beard nominee—it shows!“
“Went to Sunrise for the first time this week and was pleasant surprised by how good it was. It definitely has the “local diner” vibe and the crowd is definitely Santa Fe local. I ordered the chicken fried with white gravy. The breading on the steak was seasoned well and the gravy complimented. The mashed potatoes could use some more salt and pepper, but the vegetables were fine.Parking: The parking lot is pretty small, a lot of people park on the street by Sonic.“
“My partner and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at La Plazuela on a friend's recommendation, and enjoyed some of the best food and service we've experienced in ages. The chile rellenos were delicious, the pork osso bucco incredibly tender, and the torte ungodly good - well worth the price! The ambience was quiet and beautiful, the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary. Perhaps the highlight of our meal was Yazz, our waiter, who went above and beyond to take good care of us. She was great at her job, and her warmth and friendliness made us feel very welcome. She even brought us champagne to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We highly recommend Yazz and La Plazuela!“
“Excellent ambience. One of the best restaurants in Santa Fe., with a incredible history on the location. A property full of history. The seafood was tasty and delicious. The tuna tartar is unbeatable. I recommend the seafood tower and the scallops. The chocolate mousse was amazing. It is a must in Santa Fe, New Mexico.“
“We came on vacation from Texas. After a long day of shredding the slopes, I will start with the BBQ was absolutely amazing. Our server Peggy was such a great waitress and always kept our glasses full. Great attitude and in a hurry to make sure we were taken care of. Great experience and great environment. would recommend to anyone coming to Santa Fe. Don’t forget to ask for Peggy!!“
“Surpassed my expectations. Started with an exceptional Manhattan and spicy, savory, crispy brussel sprouts with a buttermilk dipping sauce. My main was melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank with delicious gravy and veggies plus smokey mashed potatoes to die for, and a side of fantastic green chili corn bake--Chef Dru Ruebush told me it's his grandma's recipe.Great service from Ashley and everyone else. The portions are generous, so had to take some home (poor me) and they graciously packed it up.Did I mention the warm, candle lit ambience? I will definitely come back. And, yes, I was treated exceptionally well as a single, older woman dining on my own.“
“They are right on the Plaza so a slightly higher price is expected, but the meals were actually excellent. I had the French Toast which is coated with a sweet crunchy coating. Delicious. Wife had the Turkey melt. The bread had a slight chili kick. Big slice of Avocado, substantial thick cut bacon. Overall a very good and substantial sandwich. Service friendly and professional. We sat on the patio outside, but I was impressed with the spotless diner vibe inside as well.“
“The #2 (green chile) cheeseburger was delicious. But the fish and chips are off the carts, maybe the best F&C in the city. Only available Friday and Saturday, don't miss this dish. The green beans that come with the fish and chips are fantastic. The chef was so friendly, the food came quickly, and it was lovely sitting in the patio of Santa Fe Brewery with drinks from there. Fantastic experience and food; we will return as I hear the Chicken sandwich isn't to be missed.“
“It was the middle of the afternoon. I had just gotten off the plane. I was starving. I headed over to Canyon road. I was looking for a place to eat. One of the galleries suggested the Tea Room. I walked 15 minutes to the Tea Room. There, they said it was 20 minutes until their lunch service was finished so they would not seat me. I left. Still starving. On the walk back down Canyon Road, I saw a sign for The Compound. I decided to check it out. I am very, very, very glad I did. At The Compound, the ambiance was great. Excellent people watching. People that you wondered what their story was. The service was perfect. Astrea was attentive, but not intrusive. She was also very personable and knowledgeable about the food. Her suggestions were spot on. The food was excellent. The ceviche was great. The venison sausage was very unique. I did not want to take the last bite because I didn’t want it to end. The bread pudding was as good as it gets. This restaurant made me want to buy a house in Santa Fe. If you’re in Santa Fe, don’t miss your chance to eat at The Compound.“
“We went to Skyfire for the first time during restaurant week. The restaurant week selection was limited but varied enough to suit everyone taste, and all delicious. The green risotto was outstanding! It's a lovely setting, and the regular menu looked intriguing. Service was very attentive. We will definitely be back!“
“Went during restaurant week.We went to the sushi side.Service was great and presentation was great. The flaming salmon baked roll was so fun. The sashimi was really good. The sushi rice was just alright. We really likedLiked the real wasabi. Sashimi tartar was good as well as the fried banana. Nothing extraordinary about those two dishes. I didn't know I would say this but the miso soup was the best I have ever had. The broth was so flavorful. The 3 sake sampler was really fun too.“
“We enjoyed a very good dinner here last week on their tented deck - very dog friendly! The green chile chicken enchiladas were delicious and I took half of that home for another dinner. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits very much - and just the right ratio of grits to shrimp. We sampled four of their brews and my wife liked her choice of a sour. I'm not a fan of the sour brews and found the remaining selection of their ales limited but they had other breweries ales on tap too. Wish they would brew a good Mexican lager to accompany the enchiladas.“
“Our meals were excellent and the service was not rushed, rather, so well spaced. The Avocado Caesar salad was excellent and the New Zealand Rack of Lamb, as well. Lastly, the slice of Key Lime Pie was plated beautifully and it was delicious. The bartender definitely created a most enjoyable dirty martini. My husband began with a delicious salad, then devoured his Osso Bucco, and ended with a gorgeous and scrumptious carrot cake. We love the ambience here and look forward to returning.“
“It was very chill. I went in at like 10:40 am. They let me order lunch a little early. And the food was amazing. And the staff were very attentive. Asked me if I needed anything many times..Had the green Chile cheeseburger. It was amazing and the seasoned fries. It was so delectable. Very very good. The burger was perfectly medium rare.I would highly recommend this place..“
“It was extremely busy when we went, and we did not have a reservation, but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The servers were doing the best they could, and I heard so many people around us complaining about the wait with food, the bill, drinks, etc. But they were doing great with the number of people that were coming and going. Every table was occupied, and you can tell they were short staffed. With all that said, our server was great. She took care of us and checked on us often enough. We ordered the chicken jalapeno tacos, and they were so freakin good! The chicken had a nice grilled char flavor and was seasoned just right. We also got chips and dip, and I loved the guacamole while my husband said the pico was the best he ever had.The chips were so good! Never had anything like them.I don't have photos to post because I left my phone in the car, but the view along with the excellent meal was a great way to wrap up our museum day.“
“One of my favorite food trucks!! She is so nice and accommodating! So far, we've really enjoyed the carnitas, burgers, burritos, and quesabirria! Definitely one of the best carnitas in town!!(Also this is the cutest food cart I've ever seen - love the apple!!?)“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Terra, and it was an experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. The service was impeccable. Amber, our waitress, was attentive and prompt but also displayed a genuine passion for the food. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was personalized and memorable. Now, onto the star of the show – the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, both in presentation and taste. The ingredients were evidently fresh, and the flavors were expertly balanced, creating a delightful symphony on the palate. The menu was diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes, yet each dish was prepared with the same level of care and excellence. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. It was evident that the restaurant prioritizes providing value to their customers, making every penny spent well worth it.“
“Love the 2nd story vibe here with bright dining room overlooking the plaza area. We ordered veggie burger and shrimp and mango salad. Delicious! The sweet potato fries are the best ever. Service is excellent. Prices are within reach of ordinary pocketbooks. Thank you! And dessert, well if you want absolutely made from scratch cheese cake that carries fresh mango bits in creamy ricotta - this is your eatery. Seriously wonderful chef here.“
“TLDR; good food, atmosphere, and service — good but not greatWent on a Saturday morning and didn’t wait at all. Was greeted and sat promptly. 5 starsThe atmosphere is nice and was reminiscent of an old diner. I like the multiple bars — one for alcohol and one for coffee with an open bakery kitchen next to it. 4 starsIt had a large menu and I got the Green Chile Biscuits and Gravy (Fri/Sat only) and a Mocha and my friend got the Green Chile cheeseburger. Both dishes were good, but I’d argue as a NM native that green Chile doesn’t quite suit biscuits and gravy (probably a minority in this opinion). The eggs were cooked over medium (although I asked for easy) but still made well, the hashbrowns had a good crispness but the portion on them was small, and the gravy was decently thick and there was enough to satisfy each bite. The biscuits could have been fresher as the top of the biscuit was a bit stale, but overall I was satisfied. 3.5 starsThe green Chile cheeseburger was okay, but rather plain. Hardly the best in the city I saw some reviews claim. The cheese and bun they used were great though — definitely the winners on the burger. The chile and patty were lacking something (it could just be the seasonal NM crop being unflavorful). I do like that the garnish was on the side versus in the burger, but that’s a personal preference. The chips seemed homemade but lacked seasoning. 4 starsThe mocha was good, but it lacked chocolate. Mostly tasted like a plain cappuccino. They do roast in house which was a plus. 4 starsPrices were higher than the quality reflected, but they seemingly used quality ingredients — just wish execution on the dishes we had were done better.4 Stars“
“I recently dined at this charming spot and was utterly captivated by its very romantic atmosphere, perfectly complemented by great food and impeccable service. The ambiance sets the perfect mood for a memorable evening, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to enjoy a special night out. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish prepared to perfection, and the attentive staff ensured our experience was flawless from start to finish. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. It's a must-try destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience.“
“From the moment we walked in the door , we were met with warm hospitality and were seated. The staff were quick to see us taken care of with drinks and our appetizer. Our order was brought to us, and every dish was amazing. We had a great visit and will most definitely be back soon!“
“I have dined here at Los Amigos throughout the years since it first opened. My favorite restaurant to get authentic New Mexico green & red chili at it's best! The American and New Mexican food is excellent, prepared great, and the best in Santa Fe!!! If you want the real New Mexico chili at it's best come here! Take it from a person who has dined all over town and tried it all. Food is fresh and the service is highly excellent! Employees give you the best service available and you don't have to chase anyone down or go looking for them! They check up on you often and make sure your experience is great! Very friendly with a smile! This restaurant keeps me coming back for more and have taken family & friends here. Daily specials are posted and any questions will be answered! I work in the hospitality business for a Five star Hotel chain and this is hands down one of the best Restaurants in Santa Fe!!!Vegetarian options: Excellent quality made to order.“
“AWESOMEST restaurant. Ambiance felt cozy, friendly staff. Our server was Elise, she provided sufficient attention as to not take away the enjoyment of our meal. We both had the grilled lobster tails, crab cakes and tuna tartare along with some Pinot Gris. A truly great experience.“
