“My husband and I have not been to Slate Street for probably about 20 years. It was always fun. We went for my son's 21st birthday party. There were about 20 people for this celebration. It was such a wonderful experience. We were treated like royalty. We had the best waitress. She took great care of us. She learned all of our names. She talked to us like we were friends and have known each other for years. If you go in, ask for Kim. She is an exceptionally good waitress. She made our night special and everyone in the party totally enjoyed her. Everyone seemed to be very happy with their food. I will have to tell you, beware if you get the ribeye steak sandwich. It was uneditable. We were unable to chew it because of Gristle and fat. It was tough to chew. Kim, our waitress, was quick to give us another dish of our choice plus reimburse the meal that we did not enjoy. Other than that, everything was great and fun. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and darts. We had an absolute blast. We will definitely be returning for a fun and eventful evening.“

“first time coming here and they did not disappoint! my boyfriend got a lager, and i got the orange dreamscicle, and both were very tasty! we were served at the bar, and Patrick the bartender was so attentive and kind! we got the wings to share, and the hot sauce was amazing! the right kind of heat! i got the cerrillos sandwich and my boyfriend got the adam bomb (yes, adam) pizza and both were so flavorful! we would come back for sure!

Parking: the parking is located near the roundabout, which is the entrance to the restaurant.“

Kid-friendliness: The kids meal options are filling, you can swap the fries with Mac and cheese which is a huge hit. There’s booster seats and high chairs available. The food always satisfies the kids. And at a great price for good quality!

Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spots, a ramp and double doors. The tables and chairs can easily be rearranged.“

“Yummy food! Green Chile is hotter than red. But I love the flavor of the red. Although both are good. I’ve always loved the Chile cheese fries but now that they have the chips, that’s all I get! They’re so delicious with everything on it (cheese, onions, lettuce & tomato). Also, I recommend the patty melt with rye bread and opt in for the grilled onions. My hubby loves the Chile cheese dog and ask for it a little extra toasted on the grill and he says it almost tastes like dog house. Everyday if the week is a different deal. Taco Tuesday is a must!“

“I got the wrong order. Thank God the lady that helped me was kind and helpful. The cook was already saying that it wasn't wrong but the lady on the front counter was quick to show her it was and to remake the food. The front counter lady saved me from getting upset and was quick to replace the order! Thank you so much.“
