“Suchness was so great! We were greeted warmly when we walked in and offered the option to sit outside or inside. We sat outside in the enclosed area. Our server was warm and funny and kind enough to advise us that the two appetizers we picked to start with were going to be a lot of food. We decided just to have one, the mushrooms and ramps on toasted bread. It was absolutely delicious. Then we had the vegan rigatoni bolognese. I'm not vegan, but this was so good I would gladly have it instead of regular bolognese any day. We also had the lamb with moroccan tomato jam and smoked eggplant. I loved how the chef added shredded mint leaves to the chickpea puree under the lamb. An altogether great meal. If we go back to Taos, I'd be very torn about trying new places or returning to Suchness because it was that good!“

The ambience of the location makes it perfect for a cozy meal, featuring amazing food and wine. The wait staff was very attentive and welcoming and made our visit top notch. “Was fairly expensive, but everything we had was good. It was very well plated. We arrived in Taos on a Sunday night and didn't realize the majority of the restaurants were closed. We were grateful this was open and we were able to get in right away.
They gave an amuse bouche before dinner that was beautiful and had good flavor, but seemed like it had been prepared much earlier.
Their drink menu is great.“

“We were there for happy hour (4-6 pm). There were specials on cocktails and food. We had a plate of delicious nachos with our cocktails. It was great. We sat outside. Service was attentive. The drinks were marvelous and strong enough. I loved this place.“

“This is my 100% favorite place in Taos. The gorgeless veggie burger is to die for. House made and delicious. I travel from Denver several times a year just to eat here. 10/10“

“Just came to town for the night. Loved the food. Relaxed service from friendly people, delicious food at fair prices and music that was worth staying for. The artist Jeremiah Glauser is a talent that everyone should have the pleasure of hearing.“

“The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.“
