“Delicious and gluten-free rellenos! Great food in a fun, kinda quirky restaurant environment. So many GF options on the menu. Plenty of traditional options as well as some more unique ones. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Great service and food make this a keeper.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free. Wheat free.“
“Meal was wonderful. I forget what it was called though. Here is a picture. They are on the second floor and it is confusing how to enter, especially if the other downstairs restaurant is closed. Facing the building, go to the left end of building. There is a double glass door into a dark alcove that looks like an entrance to a closed restaurant. Try the doors. If they are unlocked take steps to the left to enter.“
“Jalapenos was the first place I visited on a trip four years ago to Taos. I'd just rolled in from visiting the Great Sand Dunes NP and was tired and hungry. The fish tacos hit the spot and looked so good on the plate that I took pictures. The service was so welcoming - despite the fact that I was probably wearing some of the sand from the dunes. To this day, I'm trying to recreate these fish tacos here in Louisville and can't wait to visit Taos and Jalapenos again. You know a restaurant is good when you still dream of it years after you visit.“
“We had dinner here right as we arrived in Taos. The food was fantastic and fast! The chicken mango enchiladas were a great choice. Cadillac and Guy Fieri margaritas were excellent as other reviewers mention. For dessert we had the churro donuts and they were awesome! I wish my pictures would load! Kids loves the queso ❤️“
“Delightful greeting by 3 enthusiastic women preparing food from this food truck. The menu for breakfast we enjoyed for two mornings is traditional and beautifully prepared and tasty, giving excellent value for money. Sitting outside at tables with sun shades it doesn’t get much better.Parking: Located by side of food truck“
“this place is so good it has tradition food it was good to eat special food never had it this good so I recommend this place to anybody that goes to Taos Pueblo tourist visitors family relatives around there a good place to eat reasonable prices.“
“Picked up the Rosa special and the Barbacoa burrito for lunch. The sandwich was very good with plenty of meat. It had a ham slice and pulled shredded beef. The Barbacoa burrito was stuffed full. They were both very flavorful and very filling. The hot sauce had plenty of heat and the green sauce plenty of flavor.“
“Stopped in for dinner while traveling, and was very impressed with the food and service. The burrito supremo is one of the best burritos I have had in a long while (as is the house made horchata). The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, and service was very quick.Highly recommend this place!“
“Great place to eat something quick. The taco plate was delicious and there is a lot to order on the menu. The prices are also reasonable. The service was slow but friendly, but what do you expect? This is a mom and pop operation. I would recommend anyone in the area to come here.great plce for a quick bite to eat. The taco plate was tasty and there is plenty to order on the menu. prices are reasonable too. servive was slow but friendly but what do you expect this is a mom and dad operation. I would recommend anyone in the area to come here.“
“A convenient diner featuring Mew Mexican cuisine that came highly recommended by many of the locals. The welcoming, friendly, expeditious staff offered us service that was above phenomenal! The quaint, authentic, adobe exuded a cozy hometown atmosphere reminiscent of a visit to the abuelos. The food was very good and authentic Northern New Mexican cuisine. They were also able to accommodate our large group without prior notice and everything went amazing!“
“The spicy chicken tortilla soup is actually life changing. Forget them having the best margaritas in town - you can’t come without having this soup. 15/10.Edit: back again the next day, had to prove it wasn’t a desert mirage. It wasn’t. The soup is real.“
“I usually come here for breakfast burritos and coffee. I also sometimes stop for dinner. Breakfast crew is great, always attentive and friendly. Night crew is hit or miss. Sometimes I stand at the counter for awhile, sometimes ring the bell and there's someone in the back cooking and they look right up and see me there, but don't so much as acknowledge me or tell anyone there's someone at the counter. It may not be "their job" but it would be nice if they'd show at least a hint of initiative and let me know it will be a moment or tell their coworker that there is someone at the counter. I know what it's like working food service, especially when it's busy, and I don't mind waiting, but being ignored doesn't feel good. I've been ordering the chicken fajita salad lately for a healthier option and it has been excellent every time. The chicken has great flavor and there is lettuce, carrots, peppers, cucumbers. I highly recommend it. Overall this place is excellent and I prefer the atmosphere to the Norte location.“
“I'm from out of town, here working.Asking around, Leonel's came highly recommended. So, I checked it out.WOW! Once again, it's the Mom and Pop places doing it the best. The food was spot on, and the service was friendly. Prices were more than fair.I'm now a big fan.I plan on going back, often!Check this place out, I'm sure you will love it too!Randy Boxx“
“I ordered the enchiladas with green sauce and it was the perfect amount of spicy. Plus it was super fast! I only had a few bites of my chips and guacamole and they had it ready. It’s close to the square so you can walk around and shop after stuffing your face.“
“We ordered the Huevos Rancheros (my Husband) and I had the Chilaquiles...we got them to go...they are served with fried eggs (yay!) Rather than scrambled which is super refreshing! I do think that if you asked for scrambled they would do it. Their fried potatoes are chunky and super fluffy...there is quite enough of both red and green Chile to dunk potatoes as well as bathe the eggs and tortillas ( home fried flour chips for the Chilaquiles and corn tortillas for the base of the Huevos Rancheros) they also come with a side of excellent refried beans...the portions are huge and their prices are within anyone's reach...Home style NM food! Previously I had only eaten their lunch and dinner dishes (which are also fabulous) but this was our first foray into breakfast and we will be back for more!!!! Was trying to add a photo of my Chilaquiles...but not getting an option?“
“Picked up some handheld breakfast burritos on the way to Angel Fire and these are THE best breakfast burritos for people on the go. They are structurally sound and won't fall apart on the driver. If you get the bacon - it's thick cut and delicious. Coffee was also on point.Great service and great people. A must go to spot. I need to return to try the French toast and the Julien and everything else!!“
“Our party of 6 enjoyed fine cocktails and dining at this lovely resort. We booked through the Open Table app. It was a quiet room, surprisingly on a holiday weekend when you couldn't get a table anywhere in town or North. Prices were high, but the quality was excellent. We had a fun outing.“
“Good atmosphere with breakfast available all day. They also have various salads and sandwiches. Around you can find several shops. The staff's attention is very good, I ordered an Americano and a bison burger. The flavor of the meat was perfect, but the details come with the hamburger bun which was overcooked and the finish of the meat was not what I had requested.Despite this, I would return for a second opportunity hoping that these details are taken into account.“
“Was here towards end of night, so cannot comment on atmosphere, but service was excellent. They allowed me to buy 2 beers and have 1 later, rather than at same time.Food was reallly good with a huge menu and good range of drinks. But excellent service.“
“The food was delicious. We had an overall great experience. With the exception of a staff member deciding to unlock the bathroom door while I was in it. Fortunately I was washing my hands at that point. It was very busy. There was live music and it was brunch. The food and service was very good for how busy it was at the time. Well worth the trip.“
“Very very yum, cozy, lively place. We were just staying in Taos a couple nights. We chose this spot based on Google reviews, and we wanted New Mexican food. We still didn’t know Orlando’s was such an institution - there was a line! Luckily we arrived right ahead of their 5pm opening and even though we were a bit down the line we were seated in the first wave. They have a nice, large gravel patio with a fire and chairs for waiting, and the crowd was a fun bunch so it would be the fun kind of wait. 10/10 highly recommend.“
