Casa de Valdez Reviews
The food was okay. For a more authentic Mexican food experience, I recommend going elsewhere as I felt the food wasn't seasoned with fresh ingredients. And I tasted taco seasoning on the posole.
Wonderful place to gather for a family gathering, delicious food, clean restaurants and exceptional service. Manuel was our server and he was excellent. Variety of foods steaks, bbq, New Mexican dishes, and burgers to name a few.
Food is amazing.

Casa de Valdez in Taos, New Mexico, offers traditional Northern New Mexican cuisine alongside delicious BBQ plates. The owner ensures that dining is a pleasant experience, especially at the bar. Customers highly recommend the beef brisket, ribs, and Carne Adobada. This local gem is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican dishes and mouthwatering BBQ, with outstanding service that is prompt and very friendly. The half chicken from the smoker pit is excellent, richly smoked, juicy, and tender. Chile rellenos with green chili are outstanding, delicious, not overly battered, and very cheesy. Sopapillas are amazing with honey. The New Mexican Combination, featuring Chile Relleno, Cheese Enchilada, and Pork Tamale, is also praised, particularly for the well-stuffed Pork Tamale. Tamales, quesadillas, deluxe nachos, and house salad are delicious as well. The ambience is perfect for a slow and easy dinner, and the presence of locals adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
