“Very very yum, cozy, lively place. We were just staying in Taos a couple nights. We chose this spot based on Google reviews, and we wanted New Mexican food. We still didn’t know Orlando’s was such an institution - there was a line! Luckily we arrived right ahead of their 5pm opening and even though we were a bit down the line we were seated in the first wave. They have a nice, large gravel patio with a fire and chairs for waiting, and the crowd was a fun bunch so it would be the fun kind of wait. 10/10 highly recommend.“
“I ordered 6 strawberry cup cakes for a birthday celebration. The cakes were dense and delicious. The strawberry buttercream icing was so rich. The strawberry center in the cakes blended so nicely. Holly was so kind, patient, and helpful. Great value! Great taste!“
“This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Taos. After dozens of trips down here we have been lucky to eat at many restaurants here. Every dinner we have had at Aji is melt in your mouth good. We have had the soups, ceviches, salads, empanadas, yuca fries, trout, salmon, duck, and desserts. We have loved everything!! Also the cocktails are incredible our go to is the pisco sour and old fashion. The space is cozy and welcoming. Thank for you for the most unforgettable meals! We will be back on our next trip! ❤️Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu has gluten free options“
“Drip coffee tastes watered down. It’s not very diluted but it doesn’t seem strong. Place is pretty dark without a lot of natural light in the morning, but plenty outdoor seating. Decor is cute. People come here for a light breakfast/lunch.“
“Delicious and gluten-free rellenos! Great food in a fun, kinda quirky restaurant environment. So many GF options on the menu. Plenty of traditional options as well as some more unique ones. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Great service and food make this a keeper.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free. Wheat free.“
“Great craft cocktails (which change seasonally), locally made spirits, cozy atmosphere, live music on many nights - what else do you need?Vegetarian options: Any food item on their menu can be veggie - just have them leave the meat off of the cheese platter. They also have spiced nuts, olives, and breadsticks.Parking: There’s parking around the corner on Bent Street, on the Plaza, and in the John Dunn Shops parking lot. Metered but free after 5 pm.Kid-friendliness: People do bring kids, but it’s a cocktail bar atmosphere. Outside is better.Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult. The entire Taos historic district is tough on anyone with mobility issues. Sidewalks are narrow and in bad repair, and curbs don’t have wheelchair ramps. Once you get into the lounge, however, it’s all on one level.“
“Cozy, contemplative bakery with top-notch pastries and excellent drip coffee. I bet the chai is also very good but I didn’t have a chance to return for seconds. The croissant items were really nicely done - crisp and rich at the same time. We had the bear claw, ham&cheese croissant, and the apple turnover.“
“Jalapenos was the first place I visited on a trip four years ago to Taos. I'd just rolled in from visiting the Great Sand Dunes NP and was tired and hungry. The fish tacos hit the spot and looked so good on the plate that I took pictures. The service was so welcoming - despite the fact that I was probably wearing some of the sand from the dunes. To this day, I'm trying to recreate these fish tacos here in Louisville and can't wait to visit Taos and Jalapenos again. You know a restaurant is good when you still dream of it years after you visit.“
“We stumbled upon this place around breakfast time, and godDAMN was that a win! This is the kind of place with pastries that have a cult following and will sell out if you don't get there early. Apparently we just missed some kind of legendary sausage roll, but we got one of the last garlic-herb-cheese-onion things and it was fucking MAGICAL. We also got the hummingbird nest and the mint-creme-filled thing. Both were lovely. Everyone there is friendly and very enthusiastic. It's just a really great place. Note: we didn't get to try this because we didn't know it was an option, but... they have avocado toast with CANDIED BACON. Someone please get one on my behalf and SAVOR THAT SHIT.“
“Gutiz is the home of the best eggs benedict I have ever had in my life. I think about their egg's benny at least once a month (it's been 3 years) and can't wait to come back and eat it every single day I'm in Taos. Their dirty chai is also incredible. 10/10 no “
“Great place to eat something quick. The taco plate was delicious and there is a lot to order on the menu. The prices are also reasonable. The service was slow but friendly, but what do you expect? This is a mom and pop operation. I would recommend anyone in the area to come here.great plce for a quick bite to eat. The taco plate was tasty and there is plenty to order on the menu. prices are reasonable too. servive was slow but friendly but what do you expect this is a mom and dad operation. I would recommend anyone in the area to come here.“
“We had dinner here right as we arrived in Taos. The food was fantastic and fast! The chicken mango enchiladas were a great choice. Cadillac and Guy Fieri margaritas were excellent as other reviewers mention. For dessert we had the churro donuts and they were awesome! I wish my pictures would load! Kids loves the queso ❤️“
“Had a good meal hear on our second night in Taos. ( my family has eaten at other Heritage properties) The food was good I had the steak and my wife had the pasta. Both were delicious and the desert was pretty phenomenal get the Smore! Service was fine and probably my only complaint was our waitress was pleasant but overall friendly and with so few people not as attentive as expected. I actually had to get up and get my own drink when wanted to what whiskeys they had. I would have figured she could have either suggested one or restaurant should make a list of what they have. I feel if I have to get up and look myself then that takes away from the experience. I really enjoyed the meal and again the food is good . So this complaint is really just for constructive criticism“
“Oh man, this place is professional! The staff is so lovely. Kelly, our server couldn't have been better! Our dinners were top notch and we absolutely loved it! The paella special was off the charts and the creme brulee was the silkiest creamiest brulee I ever had in my entire life. 5 stars all around! Great for date night or a casual fine dining experience with friends or colleagues.“
“We Arrived at Taphouse near closing time, we felt a kindove bad about being there late. But our serve Alina came to our table and made us feel so welcomed and informed about the beers and food menu! Thank you so much Alina for your great service and awesome attitude!“
“The food was delicious. We had an overall great experience. With the exception of a staff member deciding to unlock the bathroom door while I was in it. Fortunately I was washing my hands at that point. It was very busy. There was live music and it was brunch. The food and service was very good for how busy it was at the time. Well worth the trip.“
“I forgot that restaurants and most things close down "early" in New Mexico. I am glad that I am on the Spanish timeline for food, because The Burger Stand was my last resort for a meal. Boy, was I glad that I am a meal procrastinator. Great burger. An array of beers on tap. Blues music overhead. The staff was warm and welcoming. If I am ever back on Taos, I will seek it out.“
“Just received a delivery from Aly. Right on time and everything was hot and packaged securely. CANNOT GO WRONG with the Gyros and the CHIPOTLE PIE... SO DELICIOUS! Fish and Chips with the dipping sauce were AMAZING as well! My co-workers and I agreed this will be a weekly occurrence and we are already planning what to get next! WELL DONE ALY!“
