“I love caramel macchiato frappe extra shots with oat milk, I think the coffee here is strong and aromatic for me. It's good for my heart.“

“Enjoyed this little coffee shop decorated with several plants in the windows. We enjoyed being able to enjoy our coffees in real mugs not disposable paper cups. They have some specialty latte flavors that we enjoyed. Only downside was we had to ask for a code to use the bathroom.“

“I had an exceptional, surprising experience at Gutiz. I had eaten there many years ago, and, while it was an interesting place, the food was not great. However, on a recent visit, the service was terrific, and the food was outstanding. Their menu is fascinating and offers all kinds of different options. We saw a gentleman at another table eating a dish I will try the next time, which is a kind of a pot pie. I had tilapia over spinach. Usually I'm not a huge fan of tilapia because I find it kind of tasteless, but this dish was beautifully seasoned and delectable. I recommend that you give this a try if you are in Taos.“

“Very welcoming! Fantastic works of art and fun and interesting memorabilia. Very convenient being right on the plaza. Kudos to the man at the front desk who checked us in on Saturday 10/15/22- was very personable and a treasure-load of history and information about Hotel La Fonda! Clean, comfortable room too!“
“The Starbucks in Taos, N.M. is located inside the Albertson's Grocery Store, immediately to the left as you walk into the store's south entrance. This Starbucks has a decent size space of its own, despite the fact it's inside the Albertson's grocery store. This Starbucks has five or six tables for its guests and the employees of this Starbucks keep their coffee shop clean and organized. The employees make delicious Starbucks Coffee in all the same varieties as any other place, including the Mocha Coffee, my personal favorite. The Taos Starbucks actually has a nice, comfortable ambience, for being inside a much larger store. They also prepare and serve the delicious, quality breakfast and lunch sandwiches. So next time you're in Taos and you need a Great cup of Wake Up, stop by the Albertson's Grocery Store at the Cruz Alta Shopping Center and enter through the store's south entrance; once you're inside the store, turn to the left and you will see Starbuck's. What kind of Starbuck's Coffee and food you order is up to you; the good thing is, You Will Like It--maybe even Love It!!!
Kid-friendliness: You see folks in the Taos Starbucks who are young and old and middle aged. This includes families, Moms and Dads and the kids, so yes, it's a nice place for the entire family.“

“We stopped in for ice cream but ended up getting chocolate and raw cacao as well. The shop is quaint and appealing. We got 6 truffles that were all very good. The unique flavor combinations reminded us of a shop we visited in Bruges called The Chocolate Line. The shop host was fun to talk to about chocolate and told us a lot about the owner and her process which made us feel connected and confident supporting this small business. My son wanted to buy the raw cacao beans and she was nice enough to let him try one before he committed to the whole bag (which he did end up buying, after all!). The ice cream was soft almost like gelato and really good!“
