“This is very, very special chocolate. We even returned a second time--may have returned more if we weren't headed home after that. The sipping chocolate is heavenly. I saw one review that complained that their cup wasn't full--I don't know about their experience. In my two experiences they were full up. And for the size, keep in mind that this is sipping chocolate, not hot cocoa which has water in it. So instead of thinking of the size comparing it to hot cocoa, think of chocolate in liquid form, as that is much closer to what sipping chocolate is.We got the vegan chocolate cake per recommendations. It was a bit dry for us, but still tasty. Happily we also ordered the coffee mouse, which is really rich, with we ate together with the cake, balancing both.Lastly, the truffles are phenomenal. Had to go back for more.In summary, so so so good“
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here! Clean newly remodeled rooms with all the added touches! Great expresso bar in the lobby! Nick was excellent and extremely helpful with suggestions for dinner!! Would definitely come back to stay again! Loved our time here! Thank you“
“Clark and his team are all so extremely nice. My new favorite drink as of this morning is the beet, berry w/yogurt and protein. I'm definitely making Taos Java my weekly stop. thank you T.J. for being here for all of us lucky coffee peeps.“
“Gutiz is the home of the best eggs benedict I have ever had in my life. I think about their egg's benny at least once a month (it's been 3 years) and can't wait to come back and eat it every single day I'm in Taos. Their dirty chai is also incredible. 10/10 no “
“Fabulous coffee shop with GREAT coffee! My favorite cafe in Taos. Staff is friendly, helpful and efficient (hey, that can be important if it’s the first cup of the day! ?). Have not tried the food (yet), but the coffee is enough to keep me coming back!“
“Our Mercy Chefs team is in Taos feeding wildfire victims and first responders. We’ve been eating KOKO pastries almost every morning and they are amazing! Best gluten free Morning Glory muffin I’ve ever had. And the coffee is out of this world! Our team of professional chefs is impressed!“
“Me and my partner stayed down the street from this amazingly comic little shop. Perfect for a morning brew and mushrooms with all kinds of add onsDefinitely my kind of shop. The woman running the place was very kind and helpful and the drinks she recommended were delicious.I got to hang out for a couple of hours just enjoying the people, the animals and the smells from the shop. Checked out some of there reading material aswell.I love a great shop with some interesting literature. They even seamed to support local artist. I am looking forward to coming back here again. ❤️❤️❤️“
“Cafe Sagrado is a warm and welcoming little shop! As local residents we frequently make the trip into town for the sole purpose of having a cup of cappuccino (or London Fog tea) and chatting with the friendly staff. They always take the time to have a personal talk with us and they clearly appreciate their customers. Whether it is the stellar coffee, the personable staff or the interesting array of artisan's products that you can browse this little shop has something for everyone!“
“Beautiful and friendly people working there, husband and little ones were with me right before dropping me off at work, best coffee ever, the kids loved there perfect strawberry/vanilla steamers. Thank you for being there World Cup... Started my day off awesome.“
“When I was stationed up in Tres Piedras May-August 2021 for Forest Service, this was my absolute favorite haunt in town. My main barista was named Mary and we became fast friends because she was so personable, helpful, hilarious, always eager to serve, and wonderful to just talk to. She left soon after my seasonal position ended, but all other baristas are equally kind and dedicated to pleasant experiences. They make fantastic drinks, carry amazing treats, and have the coolest atmosphere of local art covering the walls and always rotating. The owner has land that he uses the coffee grounds to help the soil and several art pieces in the place have coffee grounds saved by the owner, used by local artists. He has an eco-friendly focus, and the place also uses straws made from natural materials (the best ones were bamboo). Dog friendly (met several dog friends), indoor and outdoor seating, free wi-fi, and plenty of power outlets. Absolutely great place for students, business, and all around leisure with a lovely patio to boot.I miss this place and always try to stop in whenever I end up back in Taos. Please give it a try! (I will add more photos later)Dietary restrictions: Alternative non-dairy milks and gluten free dessertsParking: Often busy but usually a few spots always available“
