“Stopped on a whim, was delicious! Best tacos and shredded beef quesadilla, perfect tortillas! Guac was a little plain. Otherwise great food, great local guy running the place! Make sure to get there before 330pm if you want the best food in town, sometimes they run out of the shredded beef because its so good!! Shop is in a very old historic building so it has its charm. Covid rules 1 person allowed inside at a time, masks mandatory. Overall great experience!! 100% will be back!“

“Delicious home style New Mexican food with a cozy diner vibe. The green chile huevos rancheros are the real deal, served with fried potatoes and a yummy greasy flour tortilla on the side. As we came in, we heard multiple people praising the food and the coffee. 10/10“

“My family and I visited this local eatery in Las Vegas. It does not look like much on the outside but the interior was well lit and clean. We were seated almost immediately. It took the wait staff a bit to get to our table but the restaurant was busy at the time.

We ordered the chips and salsa to start. A lot of the chips were broken into smaller pieces but the salsa had a slight kick to it. We ordered: Charlie’s Grande Burger, the BLT, and the Chicken strips. The food was very good with the green chile being more spicy than I expected.

If you are in Las Vegas, stop by this place and give it a try.“

“Stopped in for a bite to eat while passing through. I ordered the navajo taco (never had one before). We were told when we got there that they were short-staffed and that it would take a little while for our food. There were also signs posted everywhere stating the same thing. It was very clean inside. I will say, the atmosphere is religious.....angels EVERYWHERE and bible scriptures everywhere you look. Typically not a fan of that atmosphere while i am trying to have lunch. However, i did not feel judgement from anybody who worked there. We got our food after about 45 minutes to an hour (if you want quick service, this may not be the best choice for you). My mom had ordered a meal (pork chop and egg dish... can't remember what it was called) that came with a sopapilla and the waitress said she would be back with honey for it. We never got the honey. Not the end of the world, but honey would have been wonderful to have had. My navajo taco was excellent! I had half and half mild and hot green chili. The hot was indeed quite hot but still flavorful.Overall, i think this restaurant is cute. They are severely understaffed, and therefore slow to get food out. If you are in a rush, Don't pick this restaurant. But if you are wanting to try some authentic and good new mexican food and are willing to wait, this is a good pick. The religious atmosphere is wonky but as i said, i felt no judgement.“
