Tokyo Cafe is usually a nice quiet place to eat at any time of day. The food is fresh and delicious, with sushi rolls made fresh that always taste delectable. There is a wide variety of sushi choices, soups, and many other Japanese foods. The staff are very friendly and patient. Service is prompt and fast. Prices are incredibly reasonable. The atmosphere is a more intimate setting, relaxed, cozy and slightly whimsical. There is a great selection of sake, as well as sake, wine, and beer. The combo boxes are recommended. One note: salad was doused in sauce, but it was wonderful sauce. Some diners found the fish tasted differently and was chewier. A free miso soup was offered after a waiter realized his mistake. Tokyo Cafe is a somewhat unheralded gem of the Santa Fe restaurant scene and a weekly go to.
