“We received a recommendation to eat here. So glad we did. The food was excellent. Really, really good. Good thing we don’t live here I’d be eating here all the time! I ordered vegetable tempura and the vegetable chicken. Delicious. And Mike, the general manager. What a personable guy. So nice to us.Do yourself a favor and eat here.“
“I tried their Bun Bo Hue and it was quite literally some of the best I've ever had!! I've had it in Bay Area California and DFW Texas and it tasted better than both of those places! I tried their chicken banh mi as well and it was great. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go again ?“
“You ever go in to restaurant expecting to just eat and leave, but end up laughing yourself to death because you vibe so well with the employees? That was our experience on 03/04 and Zu Hot Pot became the pinnacle highlight of our trip to Abq. Usually the highlight of a trip to Abq is not getting shot or robbed and this place far surpassed the usual expectations. The food was great, the hot pot was a new welcome experience much akin to a mongolian grill theme but different all on its own. The best part though was our waiter Tomas pronounced toe-moss I believe. Personally I would have gone with Tom-is but I digress and believe this young person should identify to whatever pronunciation Tomas prefers.Tomas came over and greeted us with an attitude befitting his age(16) and someone who works(possibly unwillingly) for the family business. Once I caught wind of the vibe and energy Tomas was presenting, we were quickly able to relate and joke through the rest of the night. The dry humor, subtle sarcasm, and slightly laxadasical attitude could turn some people off but for us it opened a door to a hilarious night of jokes, jabs, and laughter. We really enjoyed the night and have tons of jokes and laughs and overall great memories. I will be back to this place anytime I have the misfortune of ending up in Abq and look forward to more hilarious experiences and sneaking french fries into the hot pot.“
“Wonderful place really good food. I'm not a sushi fan, I went with my family, they love sushi and they were impressed. I had the Hawaiian rice (yes with pineapple) and it was delicious. We had the mussels for an appetizer and they were some of the best mussels I have ever had truly delicious. Our server was a great guy really enjoyed, but I forgot his name, Sorry. But, yeah great place great food, a wonderful night.Oh yeah, try the unfiltered saki, very good.“
“Cool space just off Central Ave. You can make your own bowl or choose from one of their recommended creations. I had the sesame noodles with fried rice and beef -- delicious!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free items are clearly labeled on the menu.“
“My mom and I always ask to split the Jjamppong (Korean seafood noodle soup) and jajangmyeon (Korean black bean noodles) into two to share, with the Korean seafood pancake. One of our favorite spots in town. Very good service and relaxing atmosphere.“
“Recommend!! Staff is very friendly and helpful; told them it was my first time visiting and they promptly gave me details on their top dishes. Got the Spicy Bowl and was skeptical with the tortilla chips going in the mix, but wow it really does compliment the rest of the ingredients. I'm over here eating tortilla chips with rice and guacamole on them with chopsticks and not worried about a thing. Will return!!“
“Delicious food, beautiful and inviting atmosphere AND kind staff!! What more could I ask for ? Wonderful place with gluten free options and the staff is well knowledgeable too, which made me feel safe as a celiac, and the price was good too! I'm definitely coming here more often!!“
“Was here for lunch on a Saturday with some friends. Good seating inside, the server was attentive to our table. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Entree bowl. It’s was a good, and filling meal. The guys I was with all enjoyed their meals too (Korean Crispy Chicken Burger, The Gyro pizza, & A pepperoni pizza). Definitely a good place to meet up and have a good variety of food and drink options.“
“A close friend of mine got married this past weekend and the evening before the ceremony, everyone had dinner with the bride & groom at Jinja. The menu had lots of options and everyone, young or old, was able to find something they enjoyed. The food was fresh, made to order and had a unique flavor unlike other local restaurants. The wait staff did a fantastic job of managing the large party size (25+; yes, we had reservations) and the evening went perfectly.“
“I ordered the shrimp fried rice and the wontons.Shrimp fried rice was pretty good. Wontons tasted fresh and everything had a good flavor.Waitress was nice, i believe there was only one waitress. It was empty with only one other person eating . They did not have sushi, which was obviously displayed so no issues.I was pleasantly surprised because ive heard that the past restaurants at this location were really bad I would definitely go again. Most dishes were under 15 dollars which was nice.“
“It was a cold night at the Rio Rancho Winterfest and the curry hit the spot. It was nice that the food truck had those coasters that buzzed when your order was ready eliminating the need to stand there waiting for your name to be called. The food was amazing and a lot healthier than the typical fried food fair. This is the kind of food truck that I would follow around just to get more.“
“My sister and I stopped in 20 min. Before close, we had went to three other restaurants and doors were locked due to short staff, as we walked in to jinja we were seated at the bar and the bartender Moriah let us order are meal! She was very sweet and welcoming which was nice! Thank you so much for your service, what a doll :)Vegetarian options: Plenty to chose from“
“This is a really good Thai restaurant in Albuquerque. They opened at 4 PM and there were already people waiting to be inside. They have a huge selection of Thai food and I feel we tried it all. You place your order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. We ordered the egg rolls and fried tofu which were great. We also ordered the Pas Thai noodles, ground chicken, eggplant, panang curry, duck and so much more. Everything was tasty. The service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. The layout of the restaurant is pretty simple and they have plenty of tables throughout.“
“Amazing sushi and other dishes, attentive service, great prices, and a cozy atmosphere. The sushi is top-notch, but if people in your party don't care for sushi there is a delicious variety of other dishes. Note that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.“
“My boyfriend and I got steamed dumplings, rasberry ice tea, cucumber sake, black gold sake, egg drop soup, orange chicken with rice, the te amo roll, and matcha green tea mochi ice cream all for only $60. It tasted like a gourmet home cooked meal and was positively amazing. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the owners were so sweet and lovely. My boyfriend decided to eat a whole dried chili pepper that was in the orange chicken and drank all my ice tea ?. The peppers gave the chicken an amazing flavor, I don't think they were meant to eat whole and told him not to do it LOL.“
“Ordered the Gunshow sushi burrito and I loved the flavor. The spicy mayo dipping sauce was great and it’s a pretty messy hands-on meal but a fun novelty food experience! I recommend coming with friends :) p.s. it’s self bus! It’s not super obvious, but remember to clean up after yourself.“
“Miriam was our waitress and she was so pleasant and efficientThank you, Miriam, for making our experience wonderful! The food was delicious and I'd recommend this place to anyone.Dietary restrictions: My daughter got the gluten free chicken and rice dish, so I know they have gluten free options.“
