I love the Spinach Calizone with many extras or the Petto di Pollo Piccata (chicken picata) with Fettuccini Alfredo on the side (It is worth the extra $1.) Our son loves the Cotoletta di Pollo Alla Parmigiana (chicken parmesan) with Spaghetti Marinara on the side. Entrées also come with soup or salad and garlic bread. Also the service is wonderful-- the barista who made your drink brings the drink to you by hand! the environment is also so welcoming and friendly. I seriously can't recommend this place enough.“

“Burque Bakehouse is one of the best. Their pastries and creations are second to none in Albuquerque. Only open late week and on the weekends, it’s been a semi-regular Saturday morning stop for us and worth going out of your way for. When visiting, dress for the weather. They do not have an inside space and all orders are taken from a walkup window. Lines can be long on the weekend, so be prepared and give yourself some time. The wait is worth it. Look to spend about $5-$6 per item. This is not a cheap donut shop.“

I literally watch my food stay under the hot lamps for 5-10 minutes, waiting on a food runner to bring it to my table. However, it’s the most consistent with how everything is cooked. You’re not going to have a perfectly cooked burger one day and an undercooked one the next. This is a good place to come in for dessert and coffee and converse in a booth.“

“Growing up in Albuquerque developed in me a true love for "Red or Green" culture. Living out of state now makes me crazy living without it, so, when I visit I want the real deal food of the "Burque!" Tia Betty Blues is my new favorite. My Navajo sculptor friend, Natiya, introduced me and now I'm hooked. You can see in the pictures the food, and they don't skimp. Look at the size of that Carne Adovada burrito compared to his hands. It's massive! I got a 4-egg omelette smothered in green chile with calabacitas (zucchini and corn), and my other friend had blue corn waffles with strawberries.Next time I'm in Albuquerque this will be the first place I go, and probably more than once. I highly recommend it, especially in warm weather, when you can sit outside. I think the owner also has the Waffleria (?).Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small so go at times of least business.“

“I’m very hard to please, when it comes down to food and service in the state of New Mexico. I have given this place a 4 to 5 stars because their food is very well balanced with the originality of New Mexican food and the heat on the Red and Green Chili sauce is very balanced to the heat levels on the sauce. I don’t like a Chili Sauce that I can’t enjoy the flavor because I can only feel the heat on my tongue and my nostrils are to busy running instead of focusing on eating, if that is the case then I rather walk away or never comeback to a restaurant. I enjoy flavors and colors but most of all a place that can make it the way I will enjoy and be satisfied eating. Thank you so much for making my time and money worth spending.“

“This was much more fun than staying at a typical chain hotel. The outdoor common area is a very private and secure oasis in an industrial part of town. The room was an interesting mix of modern and historical.Walkability: Its a 1/2 hour walk (each way) to Old Town, which has coffee shops, bars, restaurants, etc. And is dog friendly! I also highly recommend Sawmill Market for some upscale food. I felt safe walking around during the day, not sure I would walk around at night. I went to a nearby grocery store at 8pm and I was shocked to see *armed* guards at the doors, maybe this is normal for Albuquerque?Noteworthy details: If you are a history buff, or enjoy chatting with strangers over a beer, or believe in ghosts, then this is for you.“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about O’Beans. I came upon this place when googling good coffee shops in the area and happened to pick O’Beans. The first thing that strikes you is the adorable vintage atmosphere and cheery staff. The array of drink options is perfect for those who love a good speciality latte. Funny, I was just wishing I knew of a place that did chocolate-peanut butter lattes, and lo and behold - here it was at O’Beans! The “Shane” is my new favorite drink of all time. The lattes are perfectly balanced, smooth, and not cloyingly sweet - just perfect! I must also rave about the delicious green chile bagel and cherry almond scones. While the food and drink were exceptional, perhaps the best part is the staff that immediately make you feel like part of the family. You’ll have to go see for yourself and ask them about the story of this wonderful spot.“

“Really cool venue with outdoor seating, small private parking lot, food trucks, local talent, and beers with paletas! We came for an event during open mic night and it was a really great experience :) My only wish is I wish the workers were better about explaining what paletas were available. There was a bit of confusion what options were in stock or being offered. Had I known there was a Mexican chocolate paleta I would've gotten that with my Stout beer. The only options written on the board were Lime, Mango, watermelon, and strawberry. Then we found out the mango and lime were out. So, I ordered a watermelon paleta...I found out later coconut and Mexican chocolate were available. At first I was pretty nervous to dip the watermelon paleta into my beer, but I ate Froot Loops on a hotdog the other day so I figured "go for it". Surprisingly, the watermelon + Mrs. stoubtfire was actually a good combination lol I'll have to go back and try the Mexican chocolate paleta with a stout. Really cool spot to hang out :)“

Hausammann Brewhaus Bar •

“Really enjoyed this place, and it has a nice variety of beer. I don't recommend getting the flight because the style of glass they fill takes forever with their taps, and by the time I got it, the beer was warm. When cold, though, it was good.“

“I'm not a big beer drinker but I had the day ghost and it was good. There's a lot of seating inside and a patio outside. Nice place to sit and talk. There was a charcuterie food truck outside, quite tasty and the perfect snack food to share with a group. Enjoyed my Sunday afternoon here. Ironwood kitchen is right across the plaza if you want a full meal!“

“Went in for breakfast on a Thursday. The food was delicious. The Pork Belly Grits Bowl is what I ordered. They have local beer on tap to go with the coffee and brunch cocktails. Our server, Blake, took great care of us. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

Kickstand Cycle & Cafe Cafe

“Cyclists and coffee. Where you find one you'll more than likely find the other. Kickstand Cafe has one of the best locations which is nearly across the street from the Alameda Open Space parking lot. It's great to run over and grab a coffee before, during, or after your ride. For me, it's a great halfway point. I enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before making my way back home. The cafe is very charming and comfortable inside. The dessert case always looks amazing. I haven't explored the rest of their menu. Just caffeine for me, please. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The folks working inside are always really friendly. Even when they are obviously overwhelmed. They crank out orders with a smile. There's also a bike shop attached. I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there. They open at 8, which might be kinda late for those of use trying to get a ride in before the temperature rises. I really dig this place. Besides being extremely convenient, it's a great place to hang out.“

“We visited Boxing Bear our first night in town and we loved the location. VERY dog friendly, great beer and several restaurants in the same strip center so lots of food variety. I could see this as a very regular hangout for locations with all those positives. We will visit again when we are back in town.“

“I have a lot of food allergies, including rice and corn. When I came into order and mentioned the allergies/dietary restrictions, most of the staff members looked at me confused. But then Alexis stepped in. She took control. She made it so easy for me to order and I got a delicious bowl with ceviche and pickled cabbage. I’m still eating the left overs ? Alexis is amazing I love eating at this place!Dietary restrictions: Many menu items are mix and match so it’s easy to cater to restrictions. Let the staff know and they’ll do their best to help.“

“The service was good. The food tasty. The price, pretty high, I was expecting pricey but shocked by the price. I also didn't like that nothing was labled. Had they been busy explaining each item to every guest would have taken forever. I'm also probably alone in this but the "edible" flowers(carnation and ornamental leaves) were extremely over done. I would have rather had the delicious tart and saved $5 on something I had no intention of eating and have never seen anyone eat.“

“Pizzas were absolutely delicious! Pretzels bites were cold. Services was absolutely terrible! Drinks took forever to get. Salad came out with no dressing. Had to ask another server to please get it for us. Not enough plates and silverware given to us, so I got up to go get it myself. We never saw our server until the end. It's a shame because their pizza is really good!“

“Whoa. It takes a bit to stand out these days but let me tell you, CdlC did it. Firstly, the knowledgeable guy at the counter (short, dark hair and glasses) walked me through every single item in the case at my request. He is a GEM! We walked away with three desserts and each one was outrageous! We enjoyed a crème brûlée stuffed croissant with a brûlée'd top-garnished with rose petals on the spot and took the others to go!presentation servicedeliciousThis place is super special. Go enjoy!“
