“Several of my neighbors have been talking about how much they enjoy going to the Kaktus Brewing Company and today one of them actually invited me to go along so I took him up on the offer and I'm really glad I did. The place wasn't much to look at but it truly is a hidden gem! The people were very pleasant and the beer was both cold and tasty? They even had New Mexico spirits and some cool merch. I'm already planning another trip back and next time I'll be partaking in some of that delicious smelling pizza - or maybe the awesome duck sausage salad! A must try!“

“Great place out here close to the 528/550 area. Very friendly staff and lots of different types of ice cream pop creations. I had the pistachio dipped in dark chocolate and rolled in pistachios. The crew asked if I wanted extra drizzle on top and they were super friendly and patient while I choose from about 30 different ice pops.“

“We had a lovely dinner, food was delicious, and the ambience was amazing!We got there little bit late but we chose to seat outside, so the weather was getting cooler, I wasn’t expecting them to turn on the heaters since it was almost closing time, well, they literally turn on the heater for 3 people! “Really cute coffee shop in the North Northeast. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. You have great mountain views if you sit outside. Wifi is really good if you're catching up on some work. It's pretty quiet during the week if you like reading, but gets busy on the weekends. Lots of caffe options, if you like variety. Great social spot for bicyclists or hikers in the area who want a little break before or after their adventure!“

“Are ya ready kids???Yeah!I can't hear you!!!I feel like I'm walking into Bikini Bottom every time I go in. I love it!! And the fact it's right across the street from one of the movie studios makes it even better. This place is great! They've decorated really well, the big "nap pod" chair by the front is AMAZING! It's so comfy.. They have games for kids (and adults too I suppose). Looks like they have a little lounge area in the back..not sure if they have a gaming console or not.. either way, it's cool.The drinks are great, too! Currently having the Thai Tea..one of my fav's. The other day I had the hot chai tea. Gotta say the chai is REALLY good!Yes, it's a little out of the way, but you should make the trip. “This place is efficient and delicious. We came after the lunch rush and I was starving. We got our pizza quickly. It is apparent that this establishment uses quality ingredients. One of the other things that was on display was a job posting. I was surprised to see they offer paid leave and health benefits. If a company cares about its employees, you will usually find great service and that was the case during our visit.“

“This is my favorite paleta bar, always delicious, and my partner and I go out of our way to get the blueberry limeade, I wish it was always available cause we get it by the jug.Cecilia was a wonderful help, she remembered I love taro milkshakes and is always friendly and does a great job.My current favorite is fresas con crema, absolutely delicious, I think about it all week.“

“Cyclists and coffee. Where you find one you'll more than likely find the other. Kickstand Cafe has one of the best locations which is nearly across the street from the Alameda Open Space parking lot. It's great to run over and grab a coffee before, during, or after your ride. For me, it's a great halfway point. I enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before making my way back home.The cafe is very charming and comfortable inside. The dessert case always looks amazing. I haven't explored the rest of their menu. Just caffeine for me, please. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The folks working inside are always really friendly. Even when they are obviously overwhelmed. They crank out orders with a smile. There's also a bike shop attached. I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there.They open at 8, which might be kinda late for those of use trying to get a ride in before the temperature rises. I really dig this place. Besides being extremely convenient, it's a great place to hang out.“

“First time customer review. I was in a hurry so I did a drinks to go curbside. I ordered a cap, a latte and an Americano and they were all excellent. I'm unsure if they're a local business or part of a chain. I do hope that they're the former & not the latter because I do like to support local businesses and frankly speaking I'm getting a bit weary of the corporate Java shops. The location is definitely off the beaten path and I might have never stumbled across it if I hadn't noticed a small sign for their biz pinned to a chain link fence at the northeast corner of La Cueva high school. Check them out. I definitely recommend them with 5 stars and two thumbs up.“

“I finally decided to give small cakes another try today after 5 years and I do not regret it. Call it fate if you will, but I peeked in the window and was met by a smiling employee. He was an absolute sweet heart! I didn’t get his name, but I ended up buying a cake and a Valentine’s Day box of cupcakes. I hadn’t been in for years due to a bad interaction with a former employee there. That being said, he absolutely restored my faith in the company and I’ll be coming here for my sweet treats from here on out! Thank you, amazing person! I’ll not forget your kindness!!“

“My husband and I stoped in to try a new coffee place. I got a chia latte and my husband got a cortado- the drinks were great. I normally don’t like cortados but had a sip of my husbands and enjoyed it- very well balanced. Everyone was friendly and it’s well decorated with some seating. Good choice of drinks, and beans! Definitely found a new favorite.“

“Blade's is my reward to myself after a hard week at work. It is convenient to stop on my trip back home to Santa Fe. While I have my favorite, sautéed chicken livers, I am frequently enticed to try a special of the day. Not only is the food selection outstanding but also the easy, relaxed atmosphere makes dining so enjoyable. Unlike many other restaurants, there is no blaring music to hurry you through your meal and out the door. I really can't write enough compliments to recommend Blade's Bistro.“

“I was not too impressed. I went in hungry, ordered the Crafty with a pretzel bun and added green Chile. Thinking a $12.⁰⁰ Hotdog would fill me up, I was wrong. We even shared some fries as well, (I ate most of them).The Food was ok, not worth $10 -12 bucks. The store has 3 tables or so and there was more dirty then clean tables. I would much rather go down to Sam's and buy a Dog there. Over all. . . Not too happy.“

“Good tacos, no great tacos! Can't complain, I come here often and I also enjoy a beer when I am here (its why I come here). Yeah, this place also has a great view. If you come/go to Tap and Taco just before sunset and sit outside, you get a great view of the Sandia Mountain.I like that has a good beer selection, my wife likes the Mangonada mix drink.We now come here once or twice a month for Tacos and the Quesadillas. They have added the Nachos and they are great. I can say now that the food is pretty good. Beer and Tacos it's all good. I say now, this place has Great Tacos, quesadillas and the Nachos (love that cheese).Ps. Usually full and hard to get table and when you do, needs to be clean, other than that, its great.“

“Sweet neighborhood spot. Love the Bee Bite with butter toffee frozen custard. The staff is very friendly and easy going. They also take advantage of the ambiance on 4th street with the string lights; we really enjoyed the patio with all the other families who were taking in the summer evening. We will definitely be going again, a new favorite for us.“

“I wish I could give 6 stars for service. It was second to none. The setting is gorgeous with the sunset as a backdrop. We sat on the patio in perfect weather. Our server was knowledgeable, and recommended a lovely wine to pair with our dishes. She explained our dishes so well it made my mouth water! The four of us enjoyed and highly recommend to start with the Beets, the mushrooms, and theArancini as delicious small dishes to share. I ordered the Orechiette pasta dish and was pleasantly surprised with the kick it had. We will be back to walk the farm soon and enjoy other options from the menu.“

“Great food truck! The food was fantastic, well prepared food and served hot! The little fish shaped pancakes were a hit with my tot. We will definitely be back! “The Albuquerque area has a slew of great breweries, and every time I come to town, I make a concerted effort to visit as many as possible. My ABQ Brewery Map has more than three dozen pins on it, and I have finally been to almost all of them.And…finally…I made it to Ex Novo in Corrales. It’s not that I wasn’t already familiar with their beers, because they have distro in the Amarillo area. But just like with Guinness in Ireland, the beer always tastes better at the brewery. So off I went along a narrow, winding road to find the source of this good cheer.I’m just glad they do small pours separate from the flights of four, because there were six I wanted to have.On my flight I went with my fave Mass Ascension (West Coast IPA; 6.9% ABV), Misnakes Were Made ((West Coast IPA; 7% ABV), Sadnia Slice (Hazy IPA; 7.1% ABV), and Crueltor (Hazy IPA; 6.5% ABV). This was an amazing quartet of hoppiness, and I could find no faults. I followed suit with Short pours of Extra Time (Amber Ale; 5.3% ABV) and Liquid Sweater (Winter Ale; 7%ABV). Back here in Texas I have also had Perle Haggard (German Pilsner; 5.1% ABV). Once again, all stellar performers, which with the others noted above give me no uncertainties in declaring ex Love to be in my Top 5 for ABQ.Ex Novo is renovating the old Firestone dealer in downtown ABQ for a taproom, which should open later in Spring 2024. That will be convenient if only because Corrales is a bit of a hike from town. Either way, though, the beer flowing from their taps is inspired and inspiring. Even though I can buy it in Amarillo, I want to return to the brewery if only for the experience of being there so close to its source.“

“Just did a big hike in the desert sun? Check out some thousand year old pueblos, or toured downtown ABQ, and looking for a great one stop shop?Come down to this awesome outdoor food hall, anchored by Santa Fe Brewing! You can grab anything from pizza, to Mexican food, gifts, brews, and even cannabis in this sweet mix of stores. It's close to downtown and only a few minutes from Balloon Park. Staff was incredibly nice! They even gave me a poster of my favorite beer so I can hang it at home! I had the 7k IPA, and enjoyed the taste a lot! I also bought a glass and sign, they have some pretty cool stuff!This is a must return for me in Albuquerque. There's two levels of stores all around dozens of shipping containers. It's quite fun and everyone was just enjoying the sun! Thank you!“

“Excellent little restaurant!!! Ordered their Sultani (came with a beef koobideh and filet mignon with seasoned chicken) a second plate of beef koobideh. Also ordered one tomato and one pepper dolmas. Everything is delicious and perfectly seasoned and portioned! Server is able to help with gluten free options if needed. It's a Kurdish and Persian style food, great food and good service. There are not a bustling squadron of employees which is fine, so patience is needed but well worth it.“

It's a bit dark with not a lot of lighting in the dining area, and we had a screaming toddler sitting behind us, the entire time we were there, but that has nothing to do with the restaurant. “First time going was a disappointment, due to us waiting for over an hour and a server had still not come up to ask us for our drink order. It didn't seem super busy, but it did look like they were understaffed that night. We did give it another try and it was amazing! The pizza is amazing and the patio is definitely pretty with it being so close to the mountains. I am only giving this a 4 star because sometimes the service is lacking.“

The baristas are always very sweet. To get you going quickly they always have an employee taking your order when you’re in line in the drive thru.“

I’ve been to the taproom on Jefferson…. It’s not even comparable. It’s plain and lacks any character. Why would ownership do this? “i went by tonight for a late night drink and the experience was amazing. both maddi and hailey were amazing at their jobs and provided the best customer service i have seen in my 10 plus years of retail. they knew exactly how to fill my order quickly and it tasted amazing. so much so that when i finished off my first i went back for a second and it was equally as amazing. i will definitely go back and order it again“

“I would highly recommend this place to any foodie. My husband took me on a date and we sat inside. It has a very industrial feel, so to be more romantic I would recommend to sit outside. The food at this restaurant is exquisite. we ordered the seafood paella and duck. I wish I could have ordered 3 more plates of duck. It was small but savory, rich and decadent. The small paella was enough to feed a small family. I would definitely go back and order the same thing!“

“Phenomenal! Cute decor with excellent ambiance. Really nice patio. My husband had the white wine flight and I had the red, really excellent wines. We shared the apple walnut salad which was delicious. I had the filet mignon, and it was honestly the best steak I've had in Albuquerque. He had the ribeye with a lobster tail and was also very happy. To finish we shared the lava cake which was decadent. Overall, extremely happy with our experience and the price was totally reasonable, 10/10 recommend and we will be back!!“

“I have eaten here numerous times and always have an amazing experience! On 3/19/24 around 4:00 my girlfriend and I drove up to get a bite to eat only to see the place closed. There was a sign on the store stating that they had closed becuase of how busy St. Patricks day was. I can only imagine a pub being absolutely slammed that entire day and employees being exhausted for the following day or two. Was I upset they were closed? Not at all! This is a business that puts the well being of their employees first. Most companies wouldn’t even consider the way their employees feel after a busy holiday. Seeing this shows me how much this place cares for its employees! 5 stars easy!“

“I’ve been frequenting TMBC since 2006. The new facility is amazing. Daniel is an asset and one of the best things about Turtle Mountain. Very knowledgeable about the beers and specialty drinks. Turtle Mountain is a must try. The Hatch burger, nachos, hurt me wings, mac, or fish n chips are my favorites. Not to mention the wood fired pizza!“

“Excellent location in Uptown. Parking can be a challenge. Very clean atmosphere. A few tables to sit down and enjoy your donuts and coffee. I was greeted by who I think was the owner who quickly took my order. I always judge a donut's quality by ordering a plain, cake donut and this one met my expectations. Large, crispy yet fluffy and tasty. Nothing to confuse my pallet. I also ordered a large mocha coffee. Loved the paper cup it was served in! I took mine with 2% milk. Another excellent choice! Reasonably priced. Go ahead and stop by sometime soon.“

“We've been wanting to try this place for a while. It's really tasty! We started with the pork spring rolls with peanut sauce. The rolls were fresh and a good size, just not enough pork in them. I had the clay pot with chicken. It was so good! Plenty of veggies, chicken and rice. My bf had the noodle bowl with chicken. Also very good! Fresh ingredients and flavorful. The waitress was friendly & attentive. The place was clean and quiet. They have a tv showing the latest sports game but no volume, which I prefer. We were able to find parking right in front of the restaurant but we went just before the dinner rush.“

“Stopped in for lunch thinking it was a pizza only joint. Turns out to be a whole Italian restaurant. Got 2 slices of pizza and tried their bruschetta. Both were good. The pizza slices were nice and big and 2 is plenty to fill ya up. Waitress was nice and courteous. Restaurant atmosphere was ok. I’m glad I came in during a lull. Only downside I would critique is I wish they cooked my pizza slices 5mins longer. The crust was soft and flimsy to where I had to use a knife & fork to eat the pizza. Once I took a slice home and re-warmed it in the oven and for a bit crispier crust, it was perfect! Toppings were fresh and plentiful.“

I had the Gluten Not Flapjacks, with rice flour, millet, flax, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, topped with almonds and cranberries. They were delicious, with great texture. “The manager at this location is awesome! She provides such amazing service. She is always so friendly and and knowledgeable , plus the store is always extremely clean. I drive the extra 15 minutes to this particular location because of the amazing service.Vegetarian options: No other sandwich shop can compete with the black bean Patty with barbecue sauce and banana peppers! It is literally my favorite vegetarian sandwich in Albuquerque.“
