“An amazing server named Evin handled every situation appropriately from top to bottom. She gave us the best service possible and made us very comfortable . I would definitely recommend getting the green chili strips and ask for Evin, she was very concrete and consistent.M&J“
“I like I Scream Ice Cream! It's a retro ice cream shop that offers huge selection of ice cream flavors (and toppings). The environment also takes you back in time to see all the fun paraphernalia back in the past. While the ice cream isn't homemade, I think this shop offers a good opportunity to just come and relax and enjoy your time with some cool desserts. You can get to try many flavors in a single order (get upto 3 flavors and a free topping in a cup!) The staff was polite and let me take my sweet time to decide on what I wanted. The serving portion was generous as well. This place was popular! I came in around 7pm and there were 10+ people coming in and out! Very nice and relaxing and just a cool environment to enjoy desserts! I would love to stop by again and love that we have this unique ice cream shop here in this university area!“
“Absolutely incredible! I arrived a little before they opened and the line was already forming...but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait! I ordered a variety of items and every one of them was amazing! Top bite was the loaf of banana bread with brûléed bananas on top The croissants were flaky, the sourdough was fresh and the cookies were perfectly sweet! This is a must try in ABQ!“
“What a way to round up an amazing trip! The painted lady was the icing on the cake. We spent an amazing week in The mountains of new mexico. Unfortunately, we didn't know we were going to love painted lady so much. We certainly should have come earlier So we could really enjoy this amazing space. Jessie The owner operator has really Taking the time to put his attention into every Detail. The rooms are gorgeous. The trolley is amazing. Several types of coffee and tea. The bed was so cozy and comfortable. The artifacts hanging all over the place Really such a back in time. You could spend hours reading the stories he has on the wall. We stayed in charley and our other friends stayed in lizzie. Both rooms We're beyond what I expected. You will enjoy this from the moment you go through their beautiful handmade gate. I could talk for hours about the fire pit And the cornhole. The pillows and the lighting. Thanks jessie we had a great time.“
“Stopped for the night in ABQ on a roadtrip. Needed a good cup before getting on the road. .This place did the job AND THEN SOME!Small roaster that clearly takes a lot of pride in their product as well as making sure the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. If you are anywhere near here and you don't go here... why do you hate yourself?“
“Been coming here since around 2020. Great cozy spot to work on things, read a book, or hang out with a coffee in hand. Matt, Josh, Steve and everyone else that works there I've met are all very friendly and kind people. They have a humble and service oriented attitude shown through how they carry themselves and their actions. I believe they have been able to create a great community space centered around coffee where everyone feels welcome. Coffee is among the best in the city. When they switched from their old provider into roasting their own coffee (I think a year or more back) their coffee was just as great.“
“The first time I went, I was lucky enough to get the last pastry. It was so amazing, so of course I had to go back the next day. Both times the pastry’s were amazing so delicious never had a pastry so good before. Hopefully I can travel again to New Mexico and get more soon.“
“I really enjoy this coffee shop, all my drinks have been good. They have a nice selection of pastries and food, great vegan options. My only complaint is that there is a very strong air freshener or room fragrance odor. It is very overwhelming to me, and I’m not usually sensitive to perfumes or scents. My go to drink is an americano and while the drink is very good there is a hint of the fragrance in the after taste so it’s not as enjoyable as it has been before. This isn’t the first time the scent in the shop has been strong but this is the first time I’ve noticed it in my drink.Everything else about this place is great, plenty of space to meet up with friends or get some work done.“
“It's different if you don't like to eat the same things. Tho the menu needs some tweaking for that location to get more business. And make some business cards with a lunch special on it and pass out to help get some word of mouth going. It's a good location and the food is good quality. Just needs a woman's touch maybe because it's a mans menu .I can say the soft homemade breads is a nice touch. Even my husband noticed his tortilla was fresh.“
“There are a lot of craft breweries in Albuquerque, enough to call this the Asheville of the west. And of these, there are some amazing exemplars of how beer should be brewed. But it is a select few that I consider my go-to breweries, places I return to over and over because their beer is so good, their atmosphere and vibe so attractive, their mission so compelling.Bombs Away Beer Company is one of those select few. Located on the City’s east side and a couple of blocks off Route 66, it is veteran-owned, which automatically earns my high respect. The name and theme are derivative of that fact, and played well.My most recent visit was for a breweriana swap meet one Saturday, which was held outdoors in the beer garden. Naturally, we all had to come inside to grab a few. My two pints were the BABC IPA (6.1% ABV; 91 IBU) and Operation Single Hop Pale Ale (5.3% ABV; 55 IBU). Both were very approachable, even the BABC with its high IBU.There’s no reason for that twisted beer face you sometimes give when the hops are overpowering. These were both pleasing the palate, and easy to drink. The mid-range ABV is also laudable, because too many IPAs seem to be duking it out for which one can get people tipsy the fasted. On other visits I have had their Actuator IPA (6.4% ABV; 100 IBU), Hazy Chain DIPA (8% ABV; 76 IBU), MK2 Pale Ale (5.9% ABV; 55 IBU), and Anniversary IPA (7% ABV; 87 IBU). I can vouch for each of these as well. And for fans keeping score at home, that’s four IPAs and two Pale Ales, which should pigeon-hole me on the beer fan scale.Given the theme, Bombs Away attracts veterans and a primarily blue-collar clientele, not the hipsters and YUPPIES you would find at other craft breweries. Each has their place, but I am a fan of all breweries, comfortable in any environment as long as the beer is good. And it is damn good at Bombs Away. I salute you.“
“This is without a doubt my new favorite brewery! It checked off all the boxes. Amazing ambience, classy, modern and very very spacious. Tons of room inside and out. Although right around campus it felt secluded and private. The staff was very friendly, chill and happy. Ample selection of brews, lots of IPAs and every one that I tried was extremely tasty. Super solid quality. My friend and I, self proclaimed beer snobs, were blown away at the quality of these beers! No joke. The food truck for Sunday night was the best we have experienced in ABQ . The owner cook fit right in with the quality and mood of this brewery. Had fish tacos, my friend octopus tacos. Best all around tacos we have tried in this city. 10 out of 10 in every category. Even the bathrooms were super squeaky clean !!!“
“We were looking for new seafood restaurants and this one popped up. We decided to try it. Everything on the all you can eat menu was super delicious. The only thing I didn't like is that you are timed and that if you want to take leftovers home you have to pay extra.“
“My boyfriend and I visited for the first time today and our lattes were phenomenal. I have ordered a latte from many coffee shops in ABQ and this one is by far my absolute favorite. It was smooth and delicious and the space is well defined. Definitely a spot we plan on frequenting more!“
“My favorite friendly neighborhood brewery! Delicious brews, friendly staff, dog friendly, live music and a great patio! Food truck outside every night of the week. They also have their own line of whisky. What more can I say! Hands down recommend.“
“Are ya ready kids???Yeah!I can't hear you!!!I feel like I'm walking into Bikini Bottom every time I go in. I love it!! And the fact it's right across the street from one of the movie studios makes it even better. This place is great! They've decorated really well, the big "nap pod" chair by the front is AMAZING! It's so comfy.. They have games for kids (and adults too I suppose). Looks like they have a little lounge area in the back..not sure if they have a gaming console or not.. either way, it's cool. The drinks are great, too! Currently having the Thai Tea..one of my fav's. The other day I had the hot chai tea. Gotta say the chai is REALLY good!Yes, it's a little out of the way, but you should make the trip. It's a really neat little joint!Kid-friendliness: The place is literally built for kids to have fun!Wheelchair accessibility: Very ADA friendly.“
“Ok, yall gotta go to the mouse hole cheese shop. My partner and I are charcuterie obsessed so once we saw people raving about it...we just had to do a lunch date This shop is so cute and adorable and comfy. Great music playing. The menu is small but honestly everything in here changes so you won't get the same thing. We decided to go all out and get the biggest board that's meant for 4 people ? We kept getting asked if we needed a to go box but nuh uh...we finished it up so quick. I don't even remember which cheeses we got but everything was so tasty. They really give you a nice assortment of mouth delectables The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and so friendly!! Worth a trip ?“
“Great service and charming atmosphere. Charging outlets available — thank goodness. The coffee and the vegan options were incredible — if you want vegan baked goods, try to go in the afternoon, as they may not be available early in the morning.“
“Dine in | Breakfast | $10–20 Cafe Lush is a gem of a restaurant. The menu is full of interesting twists on foodie favorites, and many dishes can be made gluten-free and/or vegan. We are vegan and came for breakfast. Even though we didn’t see mention of vegan cheese on the menu, they have it - along with well prepared tofu - and were very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Our dishes were so delicious as were the Lush Lattes, which are a work of art. Amy and Rebecca are great! They are personable and fun, and made our dining experience pleasurable. We come to Albuquerque from Santa Fe periodically and will be looking forward to many more wonderful meals at Cafe Lush.“
“It's time for another Albuquerque restaurant review ... and the biggest takeaway from today's experience is "unexpected at every turn." This cute little restaurant is located in a "hip" area, and is bigger inside than it looks outside. Mazaya Cafe #mazayacafealbuquerque was recommended by google after looking up "Falafel." This place advertises itself as "Mediterranean Fusion"... so it begs to question: Fused with what? Mark and I spent the meal trying to figure that out ! (Turns out it's a blend of cuisines including Greek, Lebanese, and others!). The owners are from Nepal. I've eaten plenty of falafel in my days, so when I go to a new restaurant, I always make it a habit to order them ;-). These were nice and crispy on the outside but remained tender on the inside. Shawarma (chicken) was where we experienced the "Fusion" part. This one had raisins and other complementary spices (I believe I tasted cinnamon and coriander but ... please, please don't hold me to that!). The decor was also blended. The waiter was attentive and our experience was absolute delightful! Definitely a 5/5 in my book ;-). Bonus game: does anyone want to hazard a guess at what the pink thing is? #gourmetrecovery #abqrestaurant #foodreviews“
“Me and the family went here for dinner on a Saturday. It wasn’t too busy but we made a reservation because there were 5 of us.The location is on the smaller side, but it’s nice inside. The food was really good! We got the popcorn shrimp roll, the teriyaki chicken bowl, the crab salad, some Yaki soba pan fried noodles and a few other sushi rolls. The price and portions were decent. The only reason I am giving the service 4 stars is because they move so slow. They were very nice and made sure we had what we needed, but again- very slow.I will probably go here again to try more things on the menu.“
“What a great and cute little place. If you want to have some time with a daughter or niece, this is the cute tea spot to go to. I ordered to go on this occasion, and they were making the Boba in front of me. The atmosphere was unbelievable, and I found myself smiling. The tea was delicious and very affordable, and the cup it came in was sturdy to bring home for further use. Will return over and over again!Parking: Large parking lot for the shopping strip.Kid-friendliness: Super cute and kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“Wonderful taste of Costa Rica. If you want to try something new and unique to NM, this will not disappoint. We had some petacones as appetizers and it was so good. Service is better than amazing. And the atmosphere is what makes this place more than pleasant. Highly recommend!“
“Great service and really good food. The only gripe I had was they need to toast their garlic bread a bit more.Wheelchair accessibility: My companion uses a wheelchair and could not use the disability stall because the door goes in, not out.“
“I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys beer. The atmosphere was light on the night I went, but it made the experience even better to have an engagement with bar tender. Their drink flight was served on a skateboard .... How so cool! Good pricing too.“
“Extremely friendly and professional staff and have terrific food. Jalapeño rum was delicious and made excellent mixed drink.Names on their alcohols have a Albuquerque theme and history lesson, made them even more interesting cultural experience here in New Mexico.“
“I ordered a loose leaf turmeric and ginger tea latte. It was absolutely delicious and the staff answered all of my questions about what I was ordering. The staff even checked me while I sipped my tea to make sure I liked it. I'll definitely be trying more of their menu.“
“Love this place for their Dogos! Totally crave-able!!! Can't go wrong with a bacon wrapped hot dog smothered with sour cream, ketchup, grilled onions and a hot sauce that makes your mouth tingle. Pair this with their Alegre style french fries, which is loaded fries of lettuce, cheese, tomato, cilantro, onion, salsa and your choice of protein. I liked the Al pastor better than the carne asada.“
“Superb service. Food that looked as good as it tasted. A full breakfast menu. There was one gluten free item: a large oatmeal pancake with fruit on the top, a blueberry sauce and maple syrup on the side. There was a long wait to get in, but you can check in online to reserve a spot in line. The app will tell you what the wait is and message you when the time is up.“
“Pretty beautiful outdoor space to relax and drink a coffee. They only have filtered coffee at a self serve station. Sometimes they have live music. We were there while the it was windy and the cottonwoods were flying around everywhere but it was still very nice. Its quite tucked away but eventually you find yourself in a beautiful haven in the middle of Albuquerque.“
“Everything at Napoli Coffee is amazing! The staff is always friendly and I love the atmosphere too. The Black Forest is my favorite drink but they are all very yummy! I also love to come here to shop for handcrafted gifts or to pick up a new pair of earrings.“
“Great food spot for a nice meal. Went in for breakfast and they had a pretty good breakfast croissant sandwich with side of potatoes. Very filling. My friend had the French toast and she enjoyed them as well. The service was phenomenal, everyone was really nice and friendly. I'd come back again to try an actual sandwich for lunch.“
“Nice unassuming spot that if you didn’t know it was there, you might miss it. Beer was good, atmosphere great. Of note, their brews contain less gluten which causes some of the beers to be less robust in flavor/juiciness/hoppiness than you might find in breweries that don’t follow the same practice. Think unleaded vs premium gasoline lol…not the best analogy. I am not a huge beer drinker but when I do, I tend to like potent sours that make your jaw hurt and that was not the case here. Still, I’d go back for the cool vibes and cool people.“
“The best breakfast we had on our visit to Albuquerque! I had the standard plate with breakfast potatoes, toast, bacon, and green chile eggs. It was amazing. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy and said they were excellent as well. Atmosphere was excellent, and service was great despite how busy they were. Highly recommended and glad we visited!“
“Our 1st time there but DEFINITELY not the last! We prefer to support local peeps & I'm ALL about the beer scene but the wife prefers wine. Fortunately for her they had a very nice Temperanillo. We both greatly enjoyed the local artistry and wound up buying one of prints displayed there.“
“Second time that I was there in two years and their service was good as last time. They have a small cocktail menu but they can make whatever you like. If you are looking for place to try some whiskey/Bourbon this place is should be on ur list. There are few games that you can grab and have more fun with ur party. Barmen are great and nice . We had two cocktails and both were delicious but not exceptional that I can say “Wow”. I will go there more to try their whisky menu or Mezcal. So far I am giving them 4 ⭐️.“
“Life of Utter Gravity We stopped into this quaint brewery and tasting room to sample some of their suds, and we were blown away. A relatively young brewery, as Gravity Bound Brewing has been in business for less than five years but has quickly put the New Mexico brewing scene on watch with their stellar beers and their Quick Take IPA winning an award at the '22 NM Brewers Guild IPA Challenge. It's truly worthy of the award, as it might be one of the best Hazy IPAs I've ever tried with a smooth grapefruity finish with bold, hoppy flavor. The service here is also phenomenal, as they're all too happy to pour you sample shots to help you make a decision on what to imbibe in. No food but a welcoming, fun ambiance that you're more than welcome to bring your own food from home or wherever you choose. I believe they do have food trucks pulling up at certain days, but check the schedule as there was none during our visit. Dog-friemdly covered outdoor seating and street parking only rounds out what you'll need to know about visiting Gravity Bound.“
“Huge shout out to the amazing Root 66 food truck here in Albuquerque! Plant Powered Events made it possible for the food truck to be at ReSource Brewing Company for our sanctuaries fundraiser this past Valentines weekend. The service was great, the food was delicious and in true fashion Albuquerque can’t get enough of the food truck so happy they were able to sell out!“
“This place is efficient and delicious. We came after the lunch rush and I was starving. We got our pizza quickly. It is apparent that this establishment uses quality ingredients. One of the other things that was on display was a job posting. I was surprised to see they offer paid leave and health benefits. If a company cares about its employees, you will usually find great service and that was the case during our visit.“
“Was looking for a good cup coffee and found a gem .This is the best Latte I have had in a long time.excellent coffee and presented nicely. The Cinnamon roll was also very good. Will be back and can recommend to any coffee lover.Pleasant atmosphere and likewise people“
“Really great brewery in the downtown/EDo scene. It's connected to an art gallery as well, and has great art shows that usually are not part of the hectic First Friday artscrawl. The beers are small-batch craft and cover the gambit from sours to IPAs. They also have a full coffee bar menu.Oftentimes, there will be live music playing in the small stage up front. The back patio is roomy and has fire pits.Dog-friendly for responsible dog owners. This place has a distinctly different vibe from other watering holes in Albuquerque--having an almost rustic feeling with clientele that are mostly regulars from the surrounding neighborhoods.Highly recommended. Friendly staff, good beer, nice place to unwind or even get some work done.“
“A great, lively atmosphere. The food was 1st class, and our server Jude was fun and engaging. There was a little 10min wait, but no problem. We reviewed the menu and relaxed, and were ready when Jude arrived. Everything arrived exactly as ordered, and we added To-Go entrées at the end for our late night dinner. I only wish I’d gotten some take home brew … their offerings are very appealing…. I won’t forget them next time.“
“Great beer as always, i always get the milk stout. Good atmosphere, never too busy the staff is great, friendly, and very helpful. I always hear them talking to new customers about their beer. No longer in abq, but when i am, i always stop in for a pint.“
“Easter bunnies, chocolate penises & vaginas, Breaking Bad merch, brittles, piñon caramels, licorice, truffles, fudge, coconut haystacks, and the inimitable peanut butter crunch... Josette and Ryan and Tammy and Orina are sooooo nice... there's even sugar free for diabetics. And of course Walter White's blue meth (this is the store that supplied the props). You cannot miss this stop on your Breaking Bad tour!!!!“
“This is my favorite paleta bar, always delicious, and my partner and I go out of our way to get the blueberry limeade, I wish it was always available cause we get it by the jug.Cecilia was a wonderful help, she remembered I love taro milkshakes and is always friendly and does a great job.My current favorite is fresas con crema, absolutely delicious, I think about it all week.“
“What a clean, well thought out coffee house. They roast beanson site. The light roast is what i had, it was a great choice. They have alternatives to milk. Macademia, oat and soy milk. My son had the espresso it was also delicious.. Lookedlikean eclectic crowd of University students and business folks.. I highly recomend.“
“First time customer review. I was in a hurry so I did a drinks to go curbside. I ordered a cap, a latte and an Americano and they were all excellent. I'm unsure if they're a local business or part of a chain. I do hope that they're the former & not the latter because I do like to support local businesses and frankly speaking I'm getting a bit weary of the corporate Java shops. The location is definitely off the beaten path and I might have never stumbled across it if I hadn't noticed a small sign for their biz pinned to a chain link fence at the northeast corner of La Cueva high school. Check them out. I definitely recommend them with 5 stars and two thumbs up.“
“Amazing service, the food and coffee are even better. Their coffee is so good that my husband gets them to send it to him every month. The atmosphere here is very cozy and inviting. We will definitely visit here again Next time we come to Albuquerque.“
“I really enjoyed the food here - a wonderful breakfast burrito and caramel macchiato coffee. But the bike shop side of things is also outstanding. The overwhelming thing about this place is just how delightful all the team members are. Plus there are a bunch of desserts in the cooler and I have to go back and make sure those are okay. You know, just to be sure.“
“This place is amazing. I recently quit drinking and wanted to find a new watering hole so to speak. The owner is a wonderful person and is very knowledgeable about the kava and kratom she sells. I found my new spot! I loved it here. It’s very relaxing and such a chill vibe. The prices are good, similar to a bar but there’s an all you can drink special for a super reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend. The Kava has an acquired taste but the effects are extremely relaxing. I hope this place stays around for good so everyone please give this amazing woman your business.“
“Delicious salsa and the carne asada tacos were great. Birria tacos weren't my favorite ever but still decent. The service workers were attentive and very friendly. The salsa bar... Delicious stuff there. Will be back. Also the prices were good,“
