“From food truck to restaurant! The food is so good. I can't recommend the taco plate enough. It comes with a huge portion for the price, everything is cooked authentically Mexican, specifically northern Mexican. Food is always hot, and well made, the staff are always the best and the food comes quickly.“

“Authentic home cooked mexican food in a "hole in the wall" location near a laundromat in the North Valley. What a great surprise find. Their red chili sauce and refried beans were amazing. I got the chili on the side worried about it being too hot, but it was spicy but not too spicy to enjoy. Had the Huevos Rancheros, and they served with grilled onions on top and fresh warm tortillas. Friendly service and very authentic menu. We really felt like we walked into a small restaurant in the heart of Mexico. Even the main menu was in Spanish. A definite come back.“

“Is it just me, or is New Mexican food restaurant prices extremely high? My red enchilada plate was $15. It came with a tablespoon of rice and 2 tablespoons of beans, a couple of corn tortillas and a few ounces of Chile sauce with cheese.
The service was good, they always refilled our water and asked if everything was ok (which it was).
We went to El Bruno bc Casa Benevidez was closed and Sadie's was insanely busy(1 hr wait). The food could have been better, but being our 3rd choice I'm glad we got in and were served quickly.“

“We thought our Lyft driver was taking us to the Sadie's in Ild Town, but we ended up here, at the original (founded 1954). We'd been advised both to try the queso, and also warned that the portions were huge. Both good advice! I had a coconut margarita, which was sweet and delicious.
Vegetarian options: Maybe not so great for vegans (unless they can leave the cheese off everything) but one of our party was a vegetarian and there were a number of options.
Parking: Located pretty far out from downtown, a $17.00 Lyft ride.
Kid-friendliness: Big and probably pretty noisy at its fullest so kids could scream and cry as much as they'd like!
Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level“
