“First Pizza was the artichoke , red onion and mushroom with perfectly crisp crust and tender on the inside , highly recommended.
The server was watchful of my body language and attended to us as needed . Very intuitive.
The atmosphere was too loud inside so next time I will try the outside seating.
On my second visit the white cheese pizza was too salty and the server looked too busy.
The pizza crust was perfect and I will always order artichokes, mushrooms with red onions and basil ... Yum !

“We wandered in to Giovanni’s for the first time since we were doing jiu-jitsu next-door and needed a quick dinner. Not only was their pizza delicious (each of my young kids ate 3 pieces!) but I was impressed by their customer service. Our pizza came out a little burnt on one side. The staff member immediately apologized, admitted she hadn’t gotten it out right away, and offered to replace it. They quickly made us a replacement pizza to ensure we were satisfied. Then she not only gave us both pizzas, she also threw in a free slice of cheesecake that was incredibly smooth and delicious!!! I love supporting small, local businesses who do things right and will definitely be back again! Thanks for a great first experience!“

The pizza arrived looking delicious, but the crust was thin and slightly soggy. It was enough for 3 slices each for two. Regardless, it was still delicious.
The lemonade was so refreshing, and the tea was good.
The service was excellent. Very nice and polite. We ate outside on the patio, which was cool enough and enjoyable.

“Dion's is a New Mexico staple. Really good at all the things they make (pizza, salads, subs), and priced reasonably. Feels like a good spot if you want better than fast food but aren't looking for a whole waited-on sit down experience.
... and get the ranch. You won't regret it.“

“We went here after a morning at the Albuquerque ballon fiesta and caught them right at opening with our tour bus. They invited us in with smiles on their faces, guided us through the menu. It's a good selection of pizzas and subs and salads all which looked prepared well. We had a 12 inch carnivore pizza on original thin crust that was excellent. Other members had other options and I didn't hear any negative comments. Good job Dion's.“

And someone told me recently they make their own mozzarella for the margherita pizza -- which kinda tracks because it's softer and almost a little sweeter than I can find in the grocers. Its quick and easy and the whole complex is refurbished shipping containers- outside eating. At first glance, it's novel. Has a boy of industrial feel to it and all eating is patio dining either near some misting fans or by a fire. Worth checking out“

“I'm so glad they opened a Dion's in the South Valley... My daughters & I are in there often for after school munchies & we really like this location, it's a good place for students to gather after school, seeing how it's so close to Atrisco Heritage Academy H.S. . So far we haven't had a bad experience or any complaints with their service.“

“We wanted to give a one bite review. (7.4) It started a bit rocky, we were given a Chicago style pizza with no sauce on it… But then they totally redeemed themselves. When we were given a true Chicago style pizza it was delicious! I WILL go back! A bit pricy, but it is a very good pizza. Now I have never had a Chicago style pizza in Chicago, but this is a good pizza. I recommend!“

“Trash bizcochitos that taste like sand. Way overpriced for average food. You can get the same quality in any Walmart bakery. Also the person who responds on Google decides that bad reviews must be lies. Call me a plebian with no taste if you can't handle criticism after 55 years in the business but don't pretend that there's no possible way someone couldn't like your dismal food so they must be lying. Go literally anywhere else for bizcochitos or coffee milkshakes or empanadas and you'll be doing better. If you just want to support local, you can't go wrong here.“

“We arrived for dinner and had Suhailey as our server. Our order was taken and we sat down at a table. 15 minutes later, my name was called for our order. Exactly as we ordered it. Drinks are refillable. Bathrooms are coded for security. Everyone would check on us while at the serving counter. Excellent service and tasty food. Suhailey was an excellent example of customer service!!“

“I have to say, with most places getting things wrong whether it's forgetting something or not taking off something or making us wait...this place is on point.

They always get it right, such as removing deli mustard from sandwiches, changing the cheese or adding specific toppings to the pizza, I have never had an issue and it's always on time.“

“I LOVED IT! I had not been here for years. I used to get it about once a month when I was growing up. We randomly got it one day and it was the best pizza we had in such a long time. I got the supreme and then a make my own sausage and mushroom pizza. So worth the price! I also added on the cinnamon dessert and it was just perfect. The pizza is not insanely greasy and you can have three pieces without feeling sick. I loved the customer service and I will definitely come back!“

“I love how much room there is in here so you don’t feel like it’s crowded by your table, even when it is really busy. I liked the pizza a lot but I got three toppings and they don’t stay on at all, but that’s okay just hold your pizza different. Workers are super sweet :) like that you can do half/half and choose the thickness of the crust.

Parking: Busy parking lot by flix brewhouse so a little hard to park if you’re bad at parking like me“

“Pizza and salad were great for us older folks , the middle agers and the pile of teens we had with us.
Got a new hint from a friend that if you are picking up salad to take home ask for all the tomatoes, cheese and other add in to be on the side. That way your salad is not soggy when you get it home in 1 1/2 hours . I live down west of Estancia.“

Our appetizer Bat & Ball was absolutely Delicious. the sausage and meatballs are made in house with bold savory and mouthwatering seasoning, cooked perfect. My Diablo shrimp was tasty with a spicy kick. great portion too! my husband devoured his chicken piccata! then on top dessert. we had cannolis. Regular and chocolate dipped both scrumptious crispy and savory! I highly recommend! Family business and friendly atmosphere.“

“My favorite item is the Italian Sub. Half the time I get the chips half the time I get the fruit cup. I usually get a large Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. Sometimes I get a pizza and salad but most of the time it is this sub with the Greek dressing. The staff are very friendly, fast, and work well with each other it seems. The restroom was clean when I went into it. And there was a cashier that went out and wipe down the tables that were empty while I was eating. That is always nice to see being done. Period guest come and go about every half hour or so so having the tables wipe down often, it’s nice. I have been to other places but love Dion’s. The amount of food and the price is great here compared to other places I have tried.“
