“Very cute café. Came here for breakfast while visiting town. Breakfast portions are generous and delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and was very happy with it.The location itself is cozy, so it's a little harder to seat bigger parties, but perfect for brunch with a friend or two.Parking: I'm unfamiliar with the area, and it wasn't very straight forward to know where to park. Free street parking right by the café if you're lucky. Be aware a lot of the street parking requires a permit during certain times, and you may have to pay at a nearby lot and take a short walk to the location.“
“This is a cool concept! Games, food, beer, coffee and store. We need more places like this where you can go for a fun date night, take your kids out to have some board game fun or hangout with friends. The food is delicious! Not pictured were the cauliflower pizza and a their regular pizza. They have a great variety of pizza toppings and if you're gluten free, the cauliflower pizza crust is really tasty and crispy. The dice rolls were super good; they were delightful cheesy pillows. Last but certainly not least were the churro doughnuts...they were one of the best doughnuts I've ever had!“
“We had dinner here while on spring break and to celebrate some birthday’s. We had the aintipasto platter to start. We also tried the pizza (amazing crust and sauce) the pasta special with shrimp (the ? were wonderful and spicy, fresh, good sized) and the minestrone soup. For dessert we tried the Butterscotch Budino (my favorite ?) the Tiramisu also very very tasty and the cannoli. The service was cheery and fun!! And the atmosphere was right what we were looking for to be amongst others also enjoying themselves and having a good time. We were so happy to find this place after walking in to a few others that just didn’t have the same feel. I highly recommend this establishment!“
“Great service and really good food. The only gripe I had was they need to toast their garlic bread a bit more.Wheelchair accessibility: My companion uses a wheelchair and could not use the disability stall because the door goes in, not out.“
“We live 5 minutes from this place and just barely are trying it. It easily has become our new favorite. The food is delicious - literally everything. The wings are some of the best I've ever had. And the pizza is amazing. Such a cute vibe as well and also a great place to watch a baseball game. The staff is also so so friendly and attentive. We really love it here and plan to be back regularly.“
“I have not heard of this place till one of the team mention this place. We (wife and I) finally came and all I had is a burger. I like it, It had double meat and bacon, don't remember with one I ordered but I eat it all, ah and the fries. I need to come back and check the place out because it was after a hospital visit and don't remember much except burger was good.“
“Coming from Chicago I miss the diversity of pizza and the pizza culture there. This place is the only joint I’ve tried that comes close to reminding me of the aura of so many good restaurants/pizzerias. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail is “
“It was my first time at this spot. I am so disappointed that I didn't find this place sooner in Albuquerque. Who would have thought there would be a great New York style pizzeria here?!? Everyone raves about Dions pizza, but honestly, this place is where it's at for pizza!! I had the ham and pineapple, pepperoni and green chile, and pepperoni!! All were amazingly delicious!! ? They don't sell alcohol or beer, but it was still great! I can't wait to go back!!“
“Our first time here, and we really enjoyed the experience. The guy that took our order was so friendly and helpful. We chose the regular crust but will definitely be going back to try our pizza on the blue corn crust. Pizza was cooked perfectly ? The blue corn biscochito has easily become a favorite. Pretty cool concept to serve pizza at a Mexican bakery!“
“Great food. We took our son and his friends who are going to UNM. Two of us got pizza and two gort pasta and lasagna. I got a tasty Irish red ale. The food was great. The service was great. If a server saw we were low on drinks or whatever, they'd get it, any of them.“
“Old town pizza parlor-Albuquerque NWA Mexico-This is a straight up pizza place that is great atmosphere. The pizza blanco is perfect caramelized crust, no flop and perfect crunch. The flavor had great balance. The best pizza on Route 66. Not that I’ve tried them all, but it is literally on the mother road.My rating: 8.1#rendellsreviews #shoproute66 #shoplocal #eatroute66 #eatrt66 #eatlocal #eatsmall #bestonroute66 #oldtownpizza“
“The food service started as a very good experience as the bar tender was very informative and will let you try drinks to see if it's something that you'd like. The pizza is amazing. I had the Roadrunner Pizza and it was fantastic. Such an amazing combination of flavors. I also got the Pie-Faced Key Lime Pie Wheat Ale and it has a delicate but full flavor, lightly tart and with a sweet touch. The last straw that pushed this review into motion was the remake pizza made for my girlfriend. We weren't even disappointed with the first pizza that came out and we were honestly unaware that they were remaking a pizza in its place. This place took that extra step forward to make sure that the customer is happy with the food. I will come back here again. This has just become a regular eatery as I am very satisfied and very impressed.Thank you!!“
“Marios.....always delicious and consistently serving some of the best Italian in Albuquerque. My favorites are calzones, spaghetti and meatballs, and occasionally pizza. New York style food served by friendly happy staff.Family run business since as long as I can remember. They have other locations in town, but this one is my favorite.“
“Thank you so much for having really good vegetarian food! I had the mushroom risotto and it was fantastic. Our server Jon was awesome too! The food is 5 stars. The atmosphere is a little less. Mostly because it was a little dirty. Lights above our table were caked in dust. Bathroom mirror had THICK dust on top of the frame. Areas needed a light sweeping. Other than that I am starting this place because I plan on coming back!“
“Stopped by here yesterday for my wife's birthday. The food was stellar as usual, but something that stood out was that it was the best service I've had at any restaurant in a long time (our server's name was Alishia). Highly recommend this place to anyone.“
“What a lovely night this turned out to be. Sitting at home on a cold, cozy night. I decided to order some takeout. I have never had straight up, and now I will never want another pizza again. This was the most delicious Margherita Pizza, Chicken Wings, Salad, and Chocolate Cannoli I have ever had!!!!My only regret is that I only bought one Cannoli. I'm so sorry to keep going on and on but my goodness that was the most delicious cannoli! ??“
“We were visiting Albuquerque from Texas and found Scarpas. Me and hubby ordered a half side salad to share and the Pesto Shrimp Scampi. Delish!! We ordered buttered bread for the table. Our kids had a pepperoni pizza and both loved their pizza. If you are in the area stop by and if we are ever back in Albuquerque we will be visiting again!“
“Was here for lunch on a Saturday with some friends. Good seating inside, the server was attentive to our table. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Entree bowl. It’s was a good, and filling meal. The guys I was with all enjoyed their meals too (Korean Crispy Chicken Burger, The Gyro pizza, & A pepperoni pizza). Definitely a good place to meet up and have a good variety of food and drink options.“
“My experience was positive. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food (spicy Hawaiian pizza and potato wedges) were delicious, and the environment overall was upbeat. Attended an evening that karaoke was being hosted so if you're uncomfortable with large gatherings of people (and if a karaoke night) it may be a bit too stimulating and may be overwhelming beyond simply finding yourself hearing a nostalgic song in a way you might not be able to shake [for better or worse] ever again...as I assume is how it is suppose to be at karaokestic gatherings. Aside from some kids who at moments who appeared kind of bored or maybe less entertained at moments resulting in moments of outward expression of those feelings (this isn't a Dave and Busters after all...) it was lively and fun. I can comfortably rate this place with all five stars based on the time I spent there.Parking: Free parking lot at location. Two handicapped parking spaces near the entrance. Parking appears to be available but if hosting an event with a large turnout, it may require parking on the street or nearby businesses if permitted.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed to be inside restaurants. The environment is lively though parents may find it a little challenging keeping children entertained while they are there and there did not appear to be anything geared directly at kids like what you could expect at any basic Chuck-E-Cheese (as an example) and I did witness what I perceived as some boredom that resulted in minor but noticeable outbursts of negative attention from own table with children in my overall general area of awareness. Maybe bring a coloring book just in case you decide to have your kids along.“
“Please give Michael a raise, he was so kind and considerate when we picked up our pizza Sunday. We got there around 8 p.m., and Michael came out and said that it was done, but they didn’t want to give us a slightly burnt pizza, so they remade it for us free of charge. He kept coming out and asking if we were okay. Overall, amazing experience, delicious pizza, and excellent staff. Thank you!“
“Food is always good. They were very busy when we were there and the service was not as good as it usually is. Atmosphere is good but can get loud when crowded.Parking: Depending on the time you go, other businesses are still open, and parking can be difficult.“
“I'm not going to lie, It was a little on the expensive side. But for a two and a half foot pizza.... Totally worth it. I wish the toppings were a little more heavy. But I can honestly not argue the taste of the sauce. This is definitely in my top three most favorite pizza joints. Me and the family will definitely be coming back.“
“Always great food. But what I love the most about Dions, is even if they do mess up. Which in life not everything is perfect. Is that they have amazing and I mean AMAZING customer service that if you are not happy, they will fix it and make it right. So in that I believe an amazing customer service Always wins in my boom.“
“Called in a pizza order, vaguely described what I wanted, basically left it up to them. The young gentleman asked a few key questions and said he knew the perfect pie. Did not disappoint ?, I highly recommend the Green Chili Chicken Ranch, add onion and hold them diced tomatoes... Absolutely delicious, tongue was slapping my mouth around. 10 outta 10, would recommend ? ?Parking: Clean and openKid-friendliness: Always welcome, family orientedWheelchair accessibility: Ramps are available“
“We had a birthday lunch for my husband at the 4th st Mario's on a Saturday. We were a party of 10. There was also a party of 30 at the same time. The cook and 2 servers did a fantastic job of meeting our needs in a timely manner. I can't say enough how awesome they were. Thank you!“
“Favorite pizza place in the world- I'm vegan and create amazing things easily with their diverse menu. Pro tip: pine nuts are an excellent sub for cheese on a pizza if you're considering giving up dairy ? ??Vegetarian options: You can make anything vegetarian or vegan online or over phone or in person. Versatile menu & helpful employees& excellent quality plant based options... I only wish they would come up with a plant-based Dions ranch dressing :)“
“Solid option for dining out and a place we go to whenever we have a craving for their pizza, since the food is consistently good and you get what you expect. The atmosphere is nice; relaxed, casual, "urban Italian" is how I would describe it. Staff is friendly and relatively attentive. Pricing is good and, notably, hasn't gone up as much as many other places have in the past few years which, I appreciate...and they've maintained the same quality and portions as well Really no complaints...if you're looking for a unique dining experience at a reasonable price and love pizza, you should really like il Vicino...great place for date night or with the family also...“
“This was our first visit to Dion's. We were in Albuquerque and ordered two pepperoni and green chile pizzas. They were delicious. I was able to watch them make the puzzas via the windows to the kitchen. The location we visited had plenty of parking and there was no wait to order. The staff was friendly and professional.“
“Food was good, and the workers were ok. I didn't really interact with them much, but the one thing that stood out was the trash all over the floor behind the counter!!! The dining area wasn't as bad, but it's pretty worrisome the state the kitchen was in.“
“The Four Cheese and the Godfather are TO DIE FOR and the creamy pesto ranch. Changed. My. Life. The four cheese is so silky, creamy, and rich in flavor, with a perfect balance of each flavor. The Godfather is ICONIC with its mix of meats and veggies! Perfect ?“
“They just never miss. Perfect food, service, value and overall amazingness at every location. It's Dion's, anyone who has ever been knows what I'm talking about. And green Chile ranch might be the top 3 substances I have ever tasted in life. Just incredible, just Dion's“
“Decided to try for breakfast. The waitress was kind and helpful. Great atmosphere. The coffee was tasty strong. The smothered burrito was huge. Red chili was good. Would definitely recommend and will be going back to check out if they have drink ware with QR codes. Owners are also very nice.“
“We were very tired and hungry so we decided to get a pizza and take it to go. The waitress was a little short with us, but I assumed she was probably tired as well as it was around 8 and they were still busy. Also a good sign. Then, while we were waiting, someone else came in that she was much more welcoming and friendly to. The food was really good but their large pizza seemed more like a medium.“
“We came here for lunch and got the lunch special. It was $30 and you get an 18' pizza with one topping, six wings and a pitcher of drink of your choice. It was really good! The pizza had foldable crust, the sauce was really yummy and the cheese was melty and delicious. The wings were seasoned well and crispy. There were pinball machines that my toddler loved. There was so much to choose from and it was all reasonably priced. Great for a family.“
“One of the best pizzas I've had! So good! I would have 4.5 starts if possible but I did not get a text when my food was ready as it's stated on their website and with only 30 min to eat on my lunch break that convenience was the reason I chose to eat there, and the pizza was very greasy. But overall very delicious and great fresh ingredients, I'll definitely eat there again.“
“Food always good. Service is always excellent. But the lobby was dirty and tables dirty. Lobby person was to busy talking with friends than doing her job. That's the only issue we had. Can't wait to have lunch again.Parking: Plenty of spacesKid-friendliness: Kidd get to watch the ? pizza and other items being made to go into the oven. Great experience for the kids to watch from the window. ? coolWheelchair accessibility: Great parking and easy in and out.“
“Ok pizza and salad. My waitress was good at first but then just left. I had to ask another waiter to get my check after sitting for a while. Didn't think it was a sit down restaurant or wouldn't have went. Was planning on paying like 5 bucks for a slice of pizza and left with a bill over 20.“
“Christmas Eve, done shopping and not interested in cooking. This store is close to home and far enough away from shopping malls and stores to be less than busy. We arrive to very few cars in the lot, not many inside but a long line for drive through. Placed our order for a Napoli Pizza and waited. In typical Dion's fashion you can watch your pizza being crafted on a platform opposite the pizza construction area. It attracts kids of all ages. Pizza was delicious, hot and ready to eat - add some of their ranch dressing and it's perfect. This one is close to home and will probably see us often“
“I love Dions! The food is great, it's a non-New Mexican food New Mexico staple. Probably 20% of the time the wait time on pick up food is longer than they say. The last time I visited it was because our pizza was dropped and they had to remake it.Vegetarian options: Their salads are excellent.“
“We have come here 3 times in 3 days because the pizza is just that delicious. 10 out of 10 for Gluten free pizzas! The intensity and variety of flavors give you a new experience every time you order. We had one of our orders take out and the customer service experience was everything it should be. Straightforward accurate timing on pick up times. Will definitely come again, will try another style, will recommend.Dietary restrictions: Great quality tasty gluten free crust, not cauliflower, but gluten free risen crust. Delicious!Parking: Tough to find good parking and difficult to access“
“Village Pizza in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has truly exceeded expectations on every front. The service is comfortable and warm, with staff members who go above and beyond to make patrons feel welcome. Their friendly demeanor contribute to a delightful dining experience. As for the food, it's nothing short of exceptional. The pizzas boast a perfect crust, generously topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu showcases a variety of options, from classic pepperoni to inventive specialty pies that cater to diverse tastes. Each bite is a burst of flavor, a testament to the ownership’s commitment to quality. The restaurant's environment is equally commendable. The cozy and inviting ambiance that is certainly nice though not overly pretentious sets the stage for a comfortable and enjoyable meal. Whether you're there for a casual family dinner or a celebratory gathering with friends, Village Pizza provides the ideal backdrop. Cleanliness and attention to detail enhance the overall aesthetic, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. In sum, Village Pizza is a gem in Albuquerque, offering outstanding service, delectable food, and a welcoming environment. It has undoubtedly earned its reputation as a go-to spot for pizza enthusiasts, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in the heart of New Mexico.“
“I had a great experience at Caruso’s. I came on a Thursday night and it wasn’t busy. We were promptly seated and offered drinks. We ordered the italian fries, which were super yummy. For entrees, we ordered the lasagna and the spaghetti. Both fulls. They came with the option of soup or salad and both were very good. The entrees came out piping hot and although a little bland, that was easily fixed with a little bit of salt and pepper. It was plenty of food and we went home with leftovers. The service was especially amazing. We had refills on our drinks when they were about 1/4 full. We were given parmesan cheese when the waiter noticed that we didn’t have it at our table. We didn’t even have to ask. If you’re looking for well priced, good italian food and great service, this is the place!“
“We recently just tried BJ's for the first time and we were impressed. Although a bit of a wait, which is to be expected, we will definitely return. We had an awesome server. Her name was Claribeth. Her inviting demeanor and genuine friendliness made our dining experience enjoyable.Claribeth not only attended to our needs promptly but also went out of her way to engage with my two small boys, making them feel special. Her bilingual abilities were a great asset, as she effortlessly answered my husband's questions in both English and Spanish. We're planning on returning for my birthday and will definitely request Claribeth as our server, hopefully she's there. Highly recommend trying out BJ"s.Kid-friendliness: Claribeth was very nice to both of my boys. Very patient as one was trying to order his food and the baby was flirting towards her.“
“Updated 2/18/24:The review further below is from 5 years ago.Our pizza had the wrong topping and when I called to talk to them about it I was transferred to a very nice gentleman who graciously offered to make us a new pizza. I later found out it was Mario himself.Amazing. The delivery driver told me Mario even made the new pizza.Mario, and Mario’s REALLY care about their customers. The pizza is great and I would come back for that reason alone. Mario treated us with such kindness and respect, we’re customers for life. This is why I shop local.—————————-2018 review: Damn good pizza. I rate Mario’s 5 stars partly because when there’s any question or issue on an order, the manager (young guy, don’t know his name) works very hard to fix it and keep the customer satisfied, and he’s always so nice to my kids. You can tell he cares. He made us feel like family. Things like that keep us coming back. Plus the fantastic pizza.“
“In Albuquerque you can get a good dining experience or good food but not both. This place had some of the best pizza I have ever had. It was excellent. Worth the price. The restaurant itself was pretty dirty and had a gas station bathroom smell. The service was fine, but still below average.“
“This is my neighborhood life long dions. The New GM and his staff have made this a great place for me and my family and community. I am the head coach of east mountain baseball and they graciously helped us with our team building event. The pizza and salad were off the charts! “
“My wife and I dined at Luigi's for the first time on March 2nd 2024. We were part of a retirement party that was held there. There were almost 30 of us and everyone completely enjoyed and praised their entrees. I had the green chili chicken lasagna and it was absolutely superb. I don't usually like cream sauces, but their cream sauce was so light and the entire dish was well put together. The chef Luigi and his delightful mother even came out and greeted us to ensure that we were thoroughly satisfied. The house salads are small, simple but fresh. The minestrone was very good. I will definitely eat here again when craving Italian!“
“This location of Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria is in Tin Can Alley. It was a nice surprise, given I don’t usually enjoy mess hall-type locales (think Sawmill) because the quality isn’t great.I got the Sausage & Shroom pizza, which usually has S-A BBQ sausage, fresh mushroom, house-made mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, basil, and olio. I subbed the cheeses for their vegan cheese, and it was great! I wouldn’t have known it was a vegan cheese substitute, and the pizza was appetizing.I got bruschetta for the group and it was a refreshing finger food to share. I’d get it again.“
“Food was DELICIOUS! Got two 14” pizzas, and some bread knots with marinara. Ordered a couple sides of ranch at the window. The young gentleman who helped initially was kind and respectful. The lady who gave me my pizzas was very nice too! The thin crust pizza is our new favorite in the city! So crispy! Green Chile has great flavor. Don’t skip on giving this place a try. South Valley staple.“
“This is fast becoming my favorite hangout! The food is amazing, you can borrow and play games or bring your own to play, and the staff is super friendly! It's like hanging out at a friend's house with lots of like-minded people. ?“
