Dave's High Desert Grill

I went to Daves High Desert Grill last night for the first time. It took around 15 minutes to decide what I wanted. Everything sounded amazing. I ended up getting chicken nachos. I asked my server if they were a big serving and he said yes. When my nachos arrived, I was surprised how huge my nachos were! More than enough for 3 people. I did my best to finish but the chicken nachos won! The atmosphere was great and staff was very friendly. I look forward to my next visit.

A favorite meeting place for family dinners, and their breakfasts are also delicious 😋 The booth seats are a little saggy and could use replacing, but the service is always attentive and the outdoor seating is lovely in good weather.

The food was quite incredible. Service was a bit slow to get going, but we did have a larger group at a peak time, so I can't fault them much.

Impeccable! The ribeye was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend for steak lovers in Albuquerque.

They are so slow to serve. 19 minutes before the waitress discovered us at our table. Took 15 minutes to deliver our beers (after they were ordered). (Watched the bartenders meander around and chat during that time. 2nd beer took 10 minutes after I walked over to request, since the waitress didn't come back to check on us. This was my fourth visit, each worse than the last. Not coming back. Minor issues with then food as well.

First visit, would probably return but sit elsewhere ..upper "level" too dark of the several levels/areas. Good Happy Hour menu, fish &chips really good and generous. Regular menu looked interesting but a bit pricey for a not-pricey place.

Food is so delicious. I got the lobster eggs Benedict. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and big portions. I would have liked the potatoes cooked a bit crispier, but that is a super MINOR thing. Manager came by table and had a nice conversation with us. Ended up getting dessert because of that conversation. Definitely coming back to try some of their AUTHENTIC cajun dishes…she is from Louisiana!! Coffee is excellent, too!!

Recommended dishes: Lobster and Artichoke Benedict

This place was packed today. They got seated all at once with inside and outside tables. The staff and kitchen handled everything like a well oiled machine. Our food was really good. The chop salad was fresh, club sandwich had so much delicious meat..it's like someone baked a ham and a turkey and made a club with it, not sliced deli meat. The onion rings were crispy and delicious, the fries we unfortunately cold but that's fine. Our server was so attentive. We will definitely be back.

I'm not sure what to say about Dave's. It was fantastic. I had the Benedict with carnitas. I hardly ever get eggs Benedict. But the combination of carnitas with the sauce was excellent. Everyone was very happy with their dishes.

Tldr great food, great drinks, great prices. Not too loud. Excellent seating. Great bar and beer.

It is rare to find a place where you instantly feel at ease. I kept thinking neighborhood bar the entire time I was sitting there.

ion is broad. They had Abita Purple Haze on Tap, reminds me of home.

Ribeye was great.

Our waitress Al was a delight.

I look forward to returning.

We’ve been here a couple of times and everything is always great. The server and manager are always stopping by to check in on us, food is always amazing!

The food is mediocre and the service sucks. Waste of time and money, staff treats you like they don't want you there. The owner don't want to use the AC in the summer and don't want to use the heat in the winter. This place is a joke- NEVER coming here ever again

First time here. Nice change. Clean, comfortable. Large menu. Friendly staff. We will be back.
