Words fail to describe how miserable this was, but I will try.

There is no dimension on which this object compares to an actual Coney dog. The dog itself was kind of a dried up smoked sausage, and the chili was bland in a way that should be embarrassing for New Mexico.

Nathan's this was not. I was disappointed in the food, and angry that I wasted a meal in what is otherwise a great food town.

We ate here the first time two years ago and now that we’ve found ourselves back in Albuquerque we had to stop again. If I wrote this review from our first experience it would have been 5 stars because it was THAT good. It was good this time too but they skimped us on the green chiles. Which was a bummer because that’s what made the burger outstanding to us. Next time we’re asking for extra green chiles. The photo of the burgers is from our first visit. Forgot to take food pics this go around

The staff was friendly but the food just wasn’t as good as it looked. The quality of the meat was good but everything else wasn’t worth eating. We upgraded to the green chile fries and I think the oil needed to be changed. I ate like 2 of them and just stopped because it was so bad. It wasn’t worth $65 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 bottles of water.

Shredded cheese added to cheese fries was over melted, damn near burned on the fries. Couldn’t even eat it and wouldn’t dare give it to a homeless person. You can tell the cook didn’t want to make my food way he threw my food on the table for the lady to bag it. He may not have wanted to serve a black woman. Just left there a few minutes before writing this review. Wasn’t worth complaining and having it remade as I waited long enough. Writing this review will suffice for the disrespect.

My wife and I came to this spot and absolutely loved The New Mexican burgers. The service was amazing and the burgers were so delicious. I don't know what is wrong with the rest of these folks talking negatively. I would give this place a 10 star rating if it allowed me.

Got the New Mexican burger. The burger was super sloppy and falling apart, the meat was definitely cooked to perfection but nothing about this burger tasted good. The green chile had little to no heat not to mention any flavor. Same with the gc aioli. Do not recommend especially at the 28 dollar price point for one meal.

It was my first time trying the place. The guy in the front is so rude.

Food was not even worth finishing. Terrible flavor - way too salty. And it was the special of the day. Service was completely lacking. The young workers were way more interested in talking to each other than actually providing service to the customers. There are too many other good choices in Sawmill Market to waste your time and money here. The standalone restaurant in SF is great. Give this location a hard pass!

Counter staff is horrible and unhelpful. It’s a real burden for them to answer questions politely about their menu.
