The food was okay. The only reason they get a one star rating is because of the dishonesty. I left a tip at the end, and I was charged what seems like another tip on top of that. The lady behind the counter took her time doing the transaction so she probably added another 15% on top of my tip so I ended up leaving a $20+ tip for just $60 worth of food and okay service. They'll give you a recipe of what you agreed to, but your bank statement will state something different. To go back and argue not worth it. Just avoid going there if you don't want to get scammed.

My family and I decided to try something new so we came here. The menu is deceiving because the pictures of the meals that you’re ordering show the sides. For example, I ordered the Carne Asada tacos.(comes with 4) and the menu shows a side of rice and garnish. When I received my order, it was just the meat and tortillas. when we asked about this, they said that all the sides were separate so we had to pay extra for the rice even though it is pictured and says the tacos are accompanied with rice on the menu. It was the same thing with my daughter’s hot wings. They were pictured with fries and celery sticks, and she only received the wings. Everything else was A separate purchase. Another thing is there were three of us total and they automatically took a 15% tip, which is fine but they do not mention it to you. They just charge it on your bill. I had also left a cash tip on the table, so the waitress received a double tip. The food is not terrible, but it’s definitely not worth the price. For a bowl of caldo 4 tacos and 8 hot wings a small side of rice and 3 drinks it was 69.00

El Botanero de Guaymas serves some of the best Mexican seafood in Albuquerque. I usually order to go, and I’m almost always happy with my meals. The flavors are authentic, and the prices are fair for the quality you get.

My only complaint is that the ceviche and shrimp cocktail can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the shrimp is cut, other times it isn’t, and the portion of seafood in each plate can vary from order to order.

Overall, it’s still one of my go-to spots for delicious seafood, but a bit more consistency would make it perfect!

They only have a couple of dishes that are very, very good and the rest are just very regular tasting, if you like spicy I recommend the agua chiles and tostada de ceviche. Cielo, mar y Tierra sushi, other than that everything else tastes pretty regular. Shrimp quesadilla tastes pretty bland(do not recommend). I used to really liked their dishes mostly when they’d recently opened, but now they might have changed chefs/cooks. I am a native born Mexican therefore I get to be finicky about Mexican food but if you are not, I recommend you go and give it a try. Prices are decent compared to every restaurant price. The place has been re painted but no major changes since it was a Blake’s lotaburger meaning they have small tables and mini booths. Kid friendly. Staff could pay more attention onto seen which tables are dirty and clean them as soon as possible especially if the place is not very busy with only 3 tables to attend to.
Good place for a small parties to meet very casually, nothing formal. A wheelchair may fit on the outer side (facing hallway) of the table but that would make the wheelchair be on the walkway, making the hallway space smaller and harder to get through.

I have been to Botanero in Coors several times. I came across this Botanero on Broadway and it was honestly a horrible experience.
Entering the dirty place, full of flies and the food and horrible attention from the lady on the cell phone, she didn't go to see if we needed anything, we had to get up to ask for the bill, nothing to do with the other location.
One of my worst restaurant experiences.
I hope the owners pay more attention to their business ???

Very good food, we were in town for a concert and ate here twice for dinner. The Sunday we were there the staff was excellent, Monday was a little disorganized due to language barrier, but over all a good choice for dinner

$17 for 5 shrimp, one large piece of lettuce, 2/4 of a tomato sounds like a rip off.
