Had to try some BBQ while i was visiting and this place fit the bill. We got the platter for 2 but swapped out the chicken for burnt ends. We also got beans, coleslaw, collard greens, and fried pickles. This was my first time trying collard greens(i know?!). They were freaking amazing. The fried pickles were nice and light. Our group of first-time visitors had a fantastic experience. The food, ambiance, and service were all exceptional. The drink menu offered a wide variety of options, including the notable Orale beer. We were so impressed that we unanimously agreed to return soon. Joe and our waitress, whose name I regrettably cannot recall, provided outstanding service. Had burnt end pork belly sandwich combo.Burnt ends were delicious, potato salad was great , fried pickles.... soggy , not crispy. I went around 11:00 am when they first opened. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough. Only issue I had with service is I mentioned it to my server and she didn't seem to care much.Overall though , I enjoyed the food and will be back but probably will try a different side
